I toured this gym and felt pressured to sign up for a membership rather than take advantage of the 7 day free pass. I was happy to sign up but what I didn’t appreciate was paying for a sign on fee— I signed up in person and felt taken advantage of. The woman who helped me, Alessia, charged me a sign on fee of $25 (and she acted like she gave me a discount) even though it was $1 if I signed up in the app. Not a great first impression, so definitely sign up online/in app. Overall, it’s a good value gym, but extremely crowded due to the affordability. Diverse, unrefined crowd that loves to stare but that’s to be expected. At any given time, there will be machines and massage chairs in repair. The sauna/locker rooms are well kept. Overall I am satisfied but if the membership price were to ever increase, I would find a new gym.

The gym went in operation is great. But I did have a sour experience where we had a thunderstorm earlier in the day. And the gym had closed for about an hour. But as soon as the lights came back on, I went to go. Try and check-in again. And the gym's lights were on and the 4 staff members were just sitting in the front in the lobby area not doing much. I asked if they were going to reopen and some timely manner, and they said that they were going to be closed for the rest of the day. And in my personal opinion, I think that's BS. The EOS needs staff that have a more customer first oriented culture versus a mentality that looks to get away from work at the first chance they get.

I joined late June. This was a birthday gift. I am regularly let down by the pool not being open or the hot tub being down, but other than that it’s a good gym. Please post what movie will play in the cinema room. That has been lacking lately. Movies should be 24 hours.

Pros:

Cons:
Hot tub is frequently down for weeks at a time.

Warning About EOS Fitness Trainer Sales Practices

I signed up for a 4-month personal training plan at EOS Fitness for $1258 ($156 every 2 weeks). The salesperson didn’t mention that early cancellation requires a medical waiver and ending your entire gym membership. I trusted what they said and didn’t read the full contract carefully, and later learned missed payments may go to collections.

The trainer I worked with was great—it’s not his fault. I forgive the sales staff/business, it's their job, but this reminded me that being a good person alone isn’t enough; following Jesus and focusing on eternal values is what truly matters, while material things like my body, money or contracts are temporary.

Unprofessional Experience at EOS Childcare

We had a disappointing experience at EOS childcare with an employee named Maddie. My two-year-old is still adjusting to separation, so I stayed for less than ten minutes in the hallway outside the locked childcare area, away from all children and staff, just to help her transition.

While Angelica was wonderfully kind and supportive, Maddie was cold and dismissive. She repeated, “Parents can’t stay here,” without listening or showing empathy, and even said I was “wasting her time” before calling the manager.

The manager and other staff were understanding, but Maddie’s tone was unnecessarily harsh and robotic. Parents need compassion and communication, not hostility. I left in tears. EOS should ensure childcare staff are better trained in empathy and professionalism.

Horrible! I tried to sign up for a FREE Silver Sneakers membership. They said for some reason they needed a credit card and bank account. I had a tour of the facility, never worked out there. I decided to cancel because they don’t have Solver Sneakers classes but a very crowded Zumba class. I was assured I was canceled and warned that it could take some time for the $37.77 charge to be backed out. So - today there is a SECOND charge as well as the first. Calling their billing people isn’t helpful either so I’ll call my bank tomorrow and see if they have better luck. It’s a very nice Gym. I just think some of the workers could come around and ask if everything is OK and do we need help using the machine because some of the machines I don’t know how to use and I could never find anyone that looks willing to help, familiarize me with the machines so I embarrass myself and try On my own. One time I got stuck in a machine and when I ask for help, the guy didn’t seem warm and friendly about it. In fact I had to call him twice. I could see him at the desk looking .
The recovery room cost a little more than a regular pass. I think the recovery room should be A warm and friendly place to recover. Maybe people will want to pay extra for that recovery room.
I wish their recovery room had an electric air freshener because many times when people take their shoes off it smells like Wet dog and corn chips. An electrical air freshener would be perfect.
. It’s hard to recover In a room like that. I feel it’s like Recovering from fresh air. I’m speaking of the one on Louetta st.

This location used to be amazing. They aren't keeping the equipment maintained or serviced properly in the last three months. Some machines are out of service for weeks at a time. I came into EOS around 10pm on a random Friday night and was greeted by a gentleman named Rob Bell.

He treated me with the utmost professionalism. He not only offered me his lock to borrow for the locker but gave me a complimentary workout towel to use.

After working out for an hour, I sat in the Sauna then did a couple laps in the pool. The gym’s environment is very welcoming and modern.

Due to the wonderful customer service I received from Rob, I think I am going to sign up for membership. I highly recommend Rob gets a promotion or raise. It’s employees like him that make EOS the right gym to have membership to.

Once again the pool is closed with no end date mentioned. The last time this happened the chlorine was so high I swam in the pool and got physically sick. The pool was closed for roughly a month and no one ever had an answer for anything. I called the county to get the accurate story. I went into the pool yesterday was told it would be closed until today. I phoned the front desk was told the pool is closed indefinitely. The lady at the desk said I could drive to Katy to use their pool. After driving over there I was told their pool is closed for at least another week. The gym has potential, but there are a few comfort issues that need attention.🔹 The weight area tends to be hot and humid, which makes workouts uncomfortable—especially during peak hours.
🔹 The locker room and shower area also suffer from poor ventilation, leaving the space damp and muggy.
🔹 Water pressure in the showers is very low. A quick 5-minute rinse at home turns into a 15–20 minute ordeal here.
🔹 After drying off, I often end up sweaty again due to the lingering humidity in the shower and locker area.I hope management considers improving airflow and water pressure. These changes would make a big difference in the overall experience.

This gym is very clean and always has quite a bit of staff who are helpful and friendly. BUT...Enrique's Zumba class is my primary reason for coming to this gym. He is a wonderful instructor whether you're a seasoned dancer or new to dance. He doesn't just dance, he watches the class and if he sees we need help with some moves, he will modify or break down the moves in to simpler steps until we get it. He is always smiling and welcoming and makes it a point to learn everyone's name. My only complaint is he only has two classes at this location.

⭐ **Review for EOS Fitness Management**

I have been a member of this gym for a year, and overall, I have truly enjoyed the experience, especially the pool and the water fit classes. These have been the main reason I chose and continue to maintain the highest membership.

However, about a month ago, the pool was closed for nearly three weeks without much explanation, and shortly after that, the number of aqua aerobics classes was reduced. This has been quite disappointing, as these activities are the ones I value the most.

I kindly encourage management to consider restoring the previous schedule and ensuring the pool remains consistently available. I truly appreciate the services EOS Fitness provides, and I would very much like to continue as a member if these benefits are maintained

I have been coming to the gym for a year & a half & my son who was 14 at the time was attending the gym w me as my guest as i have the membership that you can bring a guest. Not once was i asked to sign anything for him. During that time he would say hello to his classmates that were in the gym without a guardian (my son only came if I came with him). The manager stated he would rather lose a member then to bend the rules because I was upset instead of saying lets find a solution so that we can make everyone happy. Well, the pool is being out for 2 weeks, I was told that the city close it down, and the reason is because supposedly a filter was broken. Come on, 2 weeks to replace a filter?, then some other staff member said that the inspector came the day before and the chemicals were wrong ?, so what is it?, I asked and got a bunch of excuses.. so I was told by the manager that I can get a refund for the time the pool has been out. And I asked if every member gets a refund and she said NO. So I'm thinking if any of the members that haven't been able to use the pool should head to the front desk and ask for the refund the manager offered me. And if is not repaired by next week I'm canceling my membership that haven't been a month since I got it.

Id give it zero stars if i could. Machines are always broken. Vehicle break ins in the parking lot. The only time it isnt packed is around 2 am. People recording/taking pictures in the locker room. One guy in particular records himself in the sauna and uses the only door into and out of the sauna to prop his phone up. People walking around shirtless. Watched somebody walk from the locker room to the parking lot in just a towel after leaving the shower. Absolutely NOBODY re-racks their weights. There is shit just laying around everywhere. Employees do nothing about any of this. Just play on their phones at the front desk. Unlimited guest passes so the people taking up all the equipment arent even paying to go there. I understand none of this is any fault of the employees personally, but it is their fault for not enforcing any of the policies that are clearly posted on the walls and in the locker rooms for everyone too see. Such as no recording in the locker room area. Hoping when the one on 249 opens it will at least be less crowded. If that doesnt help i will be cancelling my membership.

Was completely lied to about the plan I got.. over the phone was told they had a family plan that was affordable and had daycare included. I show up and was given a completely different plan than what was discussed. Very dissatisfied in cancellation process. After canceling in February & paying for the fee, I have been charged from Feb-June. I had to call my bank to dispute and to block them. That was my main concern.

This location: I do absolutely love the gym however… The kids club is a fat red flag. And the information front desk is 100% useless. Their knowledge of any info is ZERO. Pay your bill that’s it. The people that work behind the scenes and at their desk such as Jack and Derek are fantastic. So if you have no kids this place works for you or just come when they’re in daycare on your off days🤷‍♀️

I signed up for a 7 day pass and went to activate it and they said I could not get in because I was not 18 they did not put anywhere on there website you have to be 18 years old to have a 7 day pass. Signing up for the pass doesn’t ask for an age either, terrible experience would not recommend. Fitness connection is superior.

It’s too full, too busy, doesn’t have enough specialized equipment. Lastly , canceling your account requires that you register on a separate website and “request cancellation”. You should be able to walk into the gym and ask for your membership to be cancelled.

The gym itself is fantastic. Equipment is great, staff is very friendly. I visit every morning before work. The women’s restrooms are unbearably hot. Even after showering with cold water(which isn’t cold at all) I am drenched in sweat. Don’t even think about blow drying your hair. I’ve complained numerous times before and they blame it on the sauna and the door dividing the rooms is left open. At one point there was a sign put up to leave door closed. Didn’t do a bit of good. I’ve visited when it’s closed and no difference. As nice of a gym I don’t think I’d recommend to those who go before work. Unless you don’t mind sweating by just getting ready. I also have a membership at fitness connection down the road and prefer their older equipment with better A/C in locker rooms. Who wants to go to work sweaty, hot and in a bad mood?
Update a year later. Crowded gym, and women’s restroom is so hot and uncomfortable. Even after reporting to management and numerous employees no change. Worse than ever. It doesn’t matter if door is closed or open, which is always their answer, it’s always uncomfortably hot.

Love it here! I go in the morning and it’s so nice to wind down and chill/workout! I’ve met so many “gym friends”, the trainers are super motivating, and the front desk staff is awesome!! Everything great except for how busy it is. 6AM-Busy. 10AM-Busy. 6-10 PM Busy. 11PM most of the times I've gone- STILL BUSY. Had a 7:05 class today and there was no parking in the parking lot, whataburger, the gas station over or any parking at the bank right next to EOS. Went home. TOO BUSY.

Extremely disappointing experience at EOS Fitness La Louetta rd.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this one is well-deserved. The facilities are decent, nothing extraordinary—but the real issue is the staff. It’s honestly shocking how many employees are just walking around, completely clueless and uninterested in helping anyone.

I needed help using the scale machine. I was clearly confused, standing there trying to figure it out, and there were at least three employees nearby. They saw me—some even made eye contact—and just ignored me. When I finally asked for help, it got worse. I got a “I don’t know” or “ask someone else.” Really? Then what are you getting paid for?

People pay a membership to feel supported, not dismissed or treated like an inconvenience. This level of apathy and unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any customer-facing job.

EOS Fitness needs to seriously reconsider who they hire. Because this isn’t fitness support—it’s lazy, careless, and disrespectful.

Their way of business is very predatory, I paid for the first month and wasn’t happy with the gym as it’s overcrowded every single day at all hours. Then after the initial 2 weeks, I quit the membership 2 weeks and 2 days. Afterwards they say I need to pay the yearly fee and another month, so over 100 dollars. I’m just flabbergasted by the absolute lack of business ethics

I love this EōS location, despite coming during peak hours I enjoy my time here. The employees in the front desk are very friendly and helpful and they always greet you and say goodbye. The trainers here always seemed to be engaged with their clients and always have a smile on their face. The facility is pretty clean for the most part and the only time when it does get pretty bad is between 5pm-7pm. My only complaint about the facility is the plumbing, it’s very slow and the pressure isn’t very strong but I’m sure they’re aware. My complaint regarding the culture in the gym is many gym goers don’t care to put their weights up and leave them laying around for employees to pick up. Otherwise than that, the vibes are immaculate and everyone seems to be there to actually workout.

Didn’t really have a problem besides the fact that I felt like I was duped on my membership. I was told Willpower lets you have access to ALL EOS locations (check google) and I went to the one by Waugh Dr/Gray St location since I was on that area only to be told I didn’t have access there. Imagine how embarrassing especially thinking my membership was supposed to grant me access anywhere. Also parking is really hard to find and so the gyms are always full anywhere.

I am actually pretty upset about my experience here. Gym is fine. I don't expect everything to be perfect especially with the amount of people that attend this location. My issue is that EOS charged my account twice last month. I called to get the second charge refunded and its been over 15 days and nothing. When you call you get sent to a third party, off shore office to deal with this refund and clearly the lines aren't connecting. I really don't want to have to cancel my membership here because my husband and I just get in and out with our workouts but you can't just take my money and then send me through loops to fight you to get it back. Plus when you call the location, there is no answering the phone. Really upset to have to deal with this. Moral of the story: check your account and make sure you are not getting charged extra! UPDATE: Here we are 4 weeks later and still have not received my refund. smh. ANOTHER UPDATE 6/2/25. still no refund. finally gave up and went to cancel membership and they won't do it unless we pay another $65!!!! Joining this gym was a terrible idea. Never again. Plus I see that Dennis Bairos Regional VP of Operations, responds back to good reviews but not to mine or my situation. smh HORRIBLE GYM.

Pretty good gym. It does get really crowded between 6 and 9pm on Monday through Wednesday. The worse thing about the gym is that they have a live DJ every now and then. The DJ music is loud, intrusive, and super annoying while trying to workout.

First things first the customer service and staff has been very nice it does get very busy though.

UPDATE: this gym went ahead and cut the lock off my locker, due to someone’s keys being in the locker, they put a post it note on my locker announcing that my items were in this locker unlocked. Instead of taking my items to the front- there was no announcement, they could have cared less that my personal items they have put on display for anyone to take while I was working out.

Joined 2 weeks ago, I gotta say it's quite comfortable & everyone minds there own business... good amenities sauna in both men & women's locker area, swimming pool, cardio theater, message chairs etc... good machines & clean locker room & what i like is that most people clean the machine there using after there done with it; which is a huge plus in my book!!!... I've had a fantastic experience at EOS Gym in Spring, Texas! The facility is clean, well-equipped, and has everything you need whether you're just getting started or pushing toward serious fitness goals. What really sets this location apart, though, is the staff, especially Walt. From the moment I walked in, Walt's welcoming energy and genuine enthusiasm made a huge impression. I signed up online and had trouble signing into the app so I went in and Walt was so kind to sign me in manually for the day and even walked me to the massage chairs to scan me in there and get it set up for me!! Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. I had called to cancel my subscription before the renewal and I was told it was canceled but I would have to pay the last month which was fine.... come to renewal day it automatically renewed my subscription. Now I'm having to jump through hoops to get my dang refund.. called on may 5th the day it was renewed was told to email lmontoya which i did and didn't recieve a response or anything called again on the 9th to follow up front desk worker told me lmontoya would email me back within 24 hours no email called again today may 13th they told me to call back again tomorrow. I'm not in the country right at the moment so every call I'm getting charged.... not only that I ask for an email to the district manager or just any manager and the excuse I get is "you're gonna have to call back because I don't know it and I don't have their business card...... what a joke....

Peak hours aren’t a problem for me. As someone who loves bodybuilding, it’s actually motivating to see so many people training hard—the energy is great. There’s always at least one machine available, and if not, I just ask someone if they’re done (even if most say “not yet,” haha). Either way, I always find a way to stay active and improvise an exercise. It’s a solid gym for people who are disciplined and know how to adapt.
