my younger sister used to compete on a team with this location over a decade ago. we have now had my 6 yr old daughter enrolled since this year, and it has been nothing short of wonderful! the energy, the training and the coaches have stayed the exact same as i remembered, if not better! she especially loves coach andrew and coach vanesssa, they are both equally wonderful with all the kids and are extremely supportive and amazing trainers. they keep the kids focused on their tasks, all while making it fun and energetic. we completely love the killeen extreme location as a whole. management is amazing and they are extremely flexible whenever we have to schedule make-up classes. we highly recommend this location for your little one if you’re looking for cheer or tumbling!

We are very happy with Extreme Cheer & Tumble. My daughter learned a lot and she loves it here. She started gymnastics at another location before going to Extreme. My 4yr old started tumbling classed here about a year ago. She absolutely loves it. Her class practice is held on Tues nights and she reminds me every week as if I'm the child. But wonderful instructors and hands on staff. I'm so ready for her to move to the next phase!!

We are incredibly pleased with Extreme Cheer Gymnastics. Our daughters have been with the gym since they were toddlers, and it has consistently provided a nurturing and supportive environment. I have mixed feelings about this place. It’s been 7 months since we started Kids Gym with my 3 year old. Coach Nicole is AMAZING, she is so loving and so patient with this age group. She takes her time to know each kid and follow their needs while teaching.

Now, lately Kids Gym has been very inconsistent and each class they get new coaches. Sometimes it feels like classes are not planned properly. Ive noticed not all of them have the patience to deal with this age group and each time this happens is a battle to convince my child to attend gym class the next week.

We have had a few incidents and I have not spoke about them but a very recent one just bothered me a lot. Every day after class the coach will stand at the door with lollipops and each kid will get one, no matter how they did they just always grab one. Ive never seen a coach denying a kid one. Well this time, a coach we dont remember seen before denied my son one because he was not listening. “You dont get one because you did not listen”. In front of all the kids and parents, I immediately saw how my kid felt humiliated and started to cry. I completely understand that he gets distracted sometimes and he wont listen but I also understand he is a 3 YEAR OLD. And is not even the fact that he did not get one because as a mom I teach him good behavior gets rewarded. It’s the fact that this person did this in front of everyone and did not even address us to maybe speak about his behavior and how we can guide our child to be a better listener next time.

My daughter have been going there for about a year and a half now. She in level two and she love it there. Whether my wife and I show up in person or call the front desk, the ladies are always
pleasant, professional, and very observant when it comes to the children. The coaches are proficient and caring. The coaches know the children weakness,strength and most importantly their names. If your child is interested in gymnastics, I would recommend enrollment at Extreme Cheer & Tumble.

My daughter has been attending classes since 2019. Every coach, staff member have been awesome to us and our family. They are great at communicating everything from payments, classes, any changes, events, special classes, private lessons, closures of the gym and etc. I love Extreme Cheer and Tumble. The coaches and staff want what's best for your child so there is always opportunities to advance with so many different class options.

We loved extreme at first, their selection of rec classes where great. When my daughter moved to the team side of things is when it quickly went downhill, after trying to stick it our for months, we left due to safety concerns for the younger girls on team/pre-team and huge coaching issues with coach Malika. You cannot complain or say anything as her mom is the manager and never once where the owners present.

Not everything is bad, if you want good availability of rec classes they have an open schedule and there generally good. Coach dale is phenomenal with the kids, and one coach we will miss.

My daughter went for her first time ever being in any kind of class she is 3 years old. Everything was going well with the first instructor but when they switched instructors for the 2nd half of the class my daughter was left to try and figure things out the instructor tried to help her twice but was always distracted and when ask to do somethings and my daughter never had done them before kept walking away. At the end of the class the instructor was giving out lollipops to the kids and would not give my daughter one saying she needs to listen better. That really upset my daughter and me how can you punish a child for never being in anything like this and walking away from doing something she didn't know because you didn't show her how. If this is howbyoubtreat first time students I rather not go back and find something my daughter will actually be shown and learn. I do understand some kids don't listen but again first time ever being in anything like this.

I have had my daughter in gymnastics since she was 1 1/2 years old and she is more 13. I have had an excellent experience with Extreme! My daughter is in competitive cheer and tumbling. She has been tumbling with Mo for the last 2 years and he is an EXCELLENT coach! I cannot say enough good things about him. Carolyn, the manager, has always been extremely nice and welcoming and has worked with me when my husband passed away in Iraq this year. From day one, she was supportive and helpful with my daughter! She made her feel right at home and my daughter loves going there. Coach Q and Jayla are wonderful cheer coaches and bring out the best in the girls. I have recommended this facility to everyone I know! In other reviews, I see mention of the gym not smelling good, but I haven’t been in a gym yet that smells like roses! We spend 3/4 days a week there and haven’t had a problem- even through this crazy COVID, so I would have to say they keep up with their cleaning and sanitizing. I highly recommend Extreme! My daughter is challenged to strive to do her best and keeps growing with knowledge from these coaches and staff. They work on proper form to alleviate anyone hiring themselves from improper form. What more could you ask for?

Many coaches there were good at their jobs. But, the Killeen gym is mismanaged. Watch out, parents! The owner is out of touch with Tracy’s behavior at the front desk (as she is the Killeen “manager”). The owner does not understand how much Tracy belittles families and negatively impacts gym morale so that she can be on her power trip. Tracy frequently yells at the children. Tracy is also permitted to lie and gossip about parents, while hiding behind her computer, without any recourse. She does not consider parents as customers nor treat them that way — many parents avoid her. After speaking to the owner about the many lies Tracy continued to tell, Tracy showed no remorse.

I'm writing this while listening to my three year old lament over how she was just treated during her Kid's Gym gymnastics class.
She was taken by her hand and wordlessly led out of the gym by one of the instructors who labeled her as a distraction. They left my young daughter at the front counter, confused, embarrassed, and without anybody she recognizes while somebody went to find us.
They then proceeded to tell us how the instructor said she spoke to my wife and I the week prior about my daughter being placed into the younger gymnastics class. This was an outright lie. Nobody has ever spoken to us about my daughter struggling or being a distraction.
I now have a three year old daughter who was led by her hand out of class by an instructor she trusted and then left without anyone she knows at a counter. Effectively kicking her out of the class.
I'm appalled at how unprofessionally this situation was handled.

UPDATE: we ended up meeting with the owner and she was extremely nice, understanding, and apologetic about the situation that occurred. She showed that she cares about her customers and strives to do right by them.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND STAFF! We moved to Killeen back in December, enrolled our 6 yr old in March and we're sad to say we're moving back to San Antonio in July. I am military and won't take my daughter there ever again, besides the place is not that clean and the area where they have foam cubes smells like feet, everytime I walk there the "instructors" are on their cellphones, classes are the same everytime they don't do anything different and the worst part is the nasty blond lady that sometimes is at the front desk I don't even know her name, horrible customer service, she is extremely rude. I will not take my business there and I will make sure every military person I know to tell them not to sign up their kids here. Thanks God sky is the limit helped me to transfer the money I already paid to another gymnastic class place.

This place is not what they say it is. Ask them to show the credentials of ghe instructors. They are maybr good at cheering. Definitely not gymnastics. The instructors for gymnastics are not accredited. Just go see for yourself.

Coach Emily is amazing. However it almost always difficult for us to watch our daughter because other parents do not watch their kids, who are running around, screaming, throwing things, stomping, and hitting... despite the bright pink signs all around that says parents need to watch and control their children. Except those signs do little good when no one enforces them.

The faculties were nice but I was a bit disappointed. I took my toddler to the open gym during the day on a Friday which I was told was for ages 18 months - 5 years and there were much older children there and it became dangerous for the younger ones. Thankful my toddler wasn't hurt but moving forward I hope they enforce the age restriction.
