i came here on the day before thanksgiving. yes i am well aware of it being thanksgiving eve but there is no one here running the gym. manager said they were closing at 1. the website had said it was open right now and open gym was still the same from 2-5 pm. the signs on the front doors said it was open.

I stopped by this Firehouse to order my usual two Italian subs on wheat and an order of wheat garlic bread. The staff preparing my food seemed new and struggled to understand English—and keep in mind, there were about four or five of them working on just those two sandwiches. The cashier had to step in and translate my order, yet my subs were still made incorrectly twice. At that point, I gave up and accepted them as they were. I usually enjoy Firehouse Subs, but this visit was a huge disappointment and felt like a waste of money. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had with this company.

They need to do something about their youth basketball referees. They're slow, lazy, out of shape, miss a lot of calls they walk when they they should run. They dont really know the game of basketball. They call fouls from the opposite end of the court ( they must have super vision).They never call offensive fouls. Part of the problem is they need fresh refrees for every game. Instead these refs work 4 or 5 games in a row and by the late games they are tired and useless. It s not fair to the kids to have such high level of incompetence. You want easy money and you don't know anything about basketball then be a referee at the Fieldhouse in Mansfield. The kids deserve better.

I attend physical therapy at AOA and the staff there is BEYOND awesome! After I had knee surgery on both knees, Brandon and the entire team is extremely helpful, patient, caring and understanding....regardless of how much I complain of pain like a little girl. This gym has a lot of great features and also has a lot of things that are not customer friendly. The ability to change the gym structure is amazing however seating is not the best. The restrooms are not in the best location especially if a player is playing on court 8. The on-site vendor's are over priced normally doubling the price or 3x normal prices. Entry fee to get in is also expensive but that appears to be the new norm for sports facilities.

The facility hosts many sports events that bring in families, they don’t have a diaper changing table/station in the bathroom. Even then the bathrooms aren’t clean overall. Wish the facility was better accommodating as well as clean.

The male facility manager was very unprofessional. My little sister playing 10U basketball was prevented from having her emergency life saving medication by said manager. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Never have been treated in such a poor and unprofessional manner, always had a pleasant experience at other field houses.

The fieldhouse has great competition and the facility is very nice, the only down fall I will say is the referee's are not the best especially for kids in grade K-4. I understand kids will be kids and they are not perfect but you have to teach them the game not just take parents money and let them get a jersey. When they double dribble 2 or more times in the same possession, call it. Same thing for traveling, fouls, walking all of the violations must be taught early so when they get older it will not be a surprise. I believe in, if you break bad habits early it becomes second nature. That's why refs have to regulate the game and make it fair. Overall, I would recommend the fieldhouse to any parent looking to put their kids in sports but for the fieldhouse administration, they need to do better with refs and teaching kids the do's and don't of the game.

Based on my experience and the comments from others below, I do NOT understand how this place still operates. They should be investigated for THEFT! They take your money and then it's a roll of the dice where it goes from there. $115 for Training?? Forget training, we've had 3 practices canceled on us with no notice. We've shown up to find out there's no practice. They schedule events on top of other events, take your money and cut off communication. This is a disaster and you will pay (literally) for joining, and get absolutely NOTHING out of it. Not sure who this Brandon Herbert or Channing Starks is that's listed on the contact page, but I'm wondering if they even exist? They haven't responded to a single email. Charging $20 to enter the venue and watch middle school aged kids play basketball is taking advantage of parents desires to support their children. Today, I’m paying $20 to watch one game (schedule conflicts with the other tournament games). I’m not going to disappoint my girlfriend’s 13 year old son. This business is really taking advantage of parents’ and grandparents’ commitments to their children, and it’s extremely unsavory. When I was a kid growing up in North Texas, I did club swimming for 12 years. Our swim meets were held at nice, olympic sized swimming pools (facilities which no doubt costed a lot more to maintain). We paid dues to our teams, and the teams did business with the facilities. No one ever paid to enter a venue in support of a child. This is a racket plain and simple.

They have the worst refs in the world. Kids will get hurt because the refs don’t call anything and don’t even make an effort to even run the court. They let teams play at the wrong level, so a team that should be in a higher league plays with worse competition and destroys kids so they can’t learn the game. I will never let my kids play here in another league and wish that there was another gym to compete with this place. Multiple complaints to staff over two years and nothing is ever done.

Do not put your child in the summer camp by any means!! This is the second time my child has not been provided a meal. The first time I spoke with a cam counselor I was advised Brandon Hebert the general manger would be reaching out to me, however I never received a call back. Today my son came home and informed me he was not provided a meal today again. When I went to Field House a Counselor advised me they didn't even know he was in camp today!! It’s gross. Unkept. Women’s Bathroom is terrible, locks on doors broken & only one dryer has worked for 2-3 years now. We signed up for a summer league that was supposed to begin with games and practices mid-late May, we are now halfway into June and we have not had a single practice or game, little to no communication from the coach, we were actually supposed to have 1 practice that was cancelled 15 min beforehand when we were already at the Fieldhouse.. and we have now been denied a refund from the GM, Brandon, as if we just simply changed our mind or something. We have not met our coach, our team, nothing. This was our first time doing a league there, and we certainly won’t be back.

We went here for a 4 year olds birthday party and it was a blast! Great open play area and a huge amount of climbable surfaces for kids and their parents to explore! It was tall enough for me to fit in certain areas but also had shorter areas were it made you crawl. Had a blast and my kid was knocked out afterwards from playing so hard!

The good: the MTX little kids playground area is awesome.

The bad: Don’t come here if you have a kid who isn’t potty trained. There are no changing tables in either public bathrooms. There is one changing table in a family bathroom but it was out of order and no one seemed concerned about it. So we had to walk all over the building, go behind a basketball court to an employee bathroom that had zero trash cans for dirty diapers and wipes. It was not clean and no employees were available to help us find it. My daughter is 2 and working on potty training but needed a diaper change. It was hell trying to find her a clean place to change her diaper so she could get back to playing. Seems like a huge oversight for a business that markets itself for families.

I want to thank the staff at the Fieldhouse for their professionalism. I have been a parent/coach for years and have utilized this facility for at least 8 years. The staff deal with challenging parents, players, and coaches. The Director/Manager Brandon has an incredible staff. I recently observed a parent berating a referee in the middle of an elementary aged basketball game. The staff member noted the interaction from the front desk and immediately intervened. The parent began to use profanity at the staff member. The staff member was very composed and handled herself professionally and almost seemed as if their was training on steps to take to deescalate the situation. Which she by the way did. I truly appreciate the dedication, passion and safety factors the facility and team put into the players, referees and visitors. Great place for my kids to compete athletically!!

We came here as out of town guests for a basketball tournament and love this clean well thought out facilities that is spacious not only for parking but the facility itself was clean and had good food as well as seating was plenty. The court is nice hardwood, floors and not those plastic makeshift floors. I wished we had all the games at this location and not at AT&T on those awful floor and bright spot and squished plastic chair seating that you couldn’t be more than 120lbs before you hugged your neighbors. This is my favorite facility to play in when there are multiple games going.

What a nice facility. I went to watch my family play a basketball tournament few weekends ago. The floors were extremely slippery that Friday night, the kids literally kept sliding. Hopefully that’s something that can improve. Loved the concessions stand the menu has a lot to offer than just typical snacks, they practically have meals. The only downer was they closed while other games were just starting. So the new folks coming in that we’re hungry absolutely missed out.

Second time here they over booked and 7 o'clock time moved to 7:30. What made it worse they made a one day schedule into a two day schedule. That would have been fine, but you have to pay to get in for both days now, and the price went up to $25 an adult to get in for the weekend. We spent more on getting in to watch the game then it cost to have my kids play in the game.
