Shout out to the wonderful staff of FCDC! My daughter is newly 3 and was nervous to try dance as it is her first "structured" activity. The instructors, Noelle and Olivia, were wonderful and compassionate allowing us parents to be in the room initially until the kiddos felt comfortable.

I appreciateand understand that their goal is independence for the girls. I am grateful they were not hard pressed to keep parents out of the room which allowed my daughter, as well as several other dancers, to enjoy their time, feel confident, and desire to come back.

We are excited to learn through dance and grateful for the opportunity to participate. Noelle has been especially compassionate and helpful!

I enrolled my 4-year-old in a combo ballet and tap dance class at the beginning of the year to keep her engaged and help develop her social skills. It has quickly become her favorite part of the week! She absolutely loves learning new moves and making new friends. This place is full of wonderful and amazing teachers. I invited my niece to the free trial to see if she would like to sign up for dance classes. She had just woke up from a nap when it was time for class so she was very fussy. She didn’t get to try dancing that time because she wasn’t having it. But I was so thankful and happy that the teachers still tried to make her feel better and even brought out some colors and pictures to cheer her up. 5 stars hands down. My daughter and niece now both attend dance and they absolutely love it.

FCDC is a great company for any first time or advancing dancer. We have been with FCDC since my daughter was just a toddler all the way until Covid. With 2 years away with another dance company my daughter insisted we returned. With no hesitation we jumped back to FCDC only to be welcomed with open arms and on going support to find the right class for her. Taylor and dance staff have done an amazing job in truly taking time to supporting and getting to know her dancers and their families. This is where you need to be. We recently moved into San Marcos and looking to sign our girls up for dance. I saw the ad for dance classes on Facebook and decided to do a free trial. My daughter is 2 1/2 yrs old and pretty shy, so I wasn’t expecting her to be into the class but wanted to try. Scheduling a free session was easy and there were reminders sent so I didn’t forget. Communication was awesome about when/where and what to expect. Staff was friendly when we arrived and worked hard to make my daughter comfortable. They allowed her to watch and take her time but encouraged her to participate. By the end of class she was interested and engaging. When I asked her, she said she had fun and liked it! Registration was easy and class prices are reasonable. Staff is super friendly and my daughter is excited about the new activity. I’ve already told some of my fellow toddler moms to check it out. I highly recommend!

Yesterday was my granddaughter’s first experience in class. Taylor was gracious enough to let me sit in class as my baby didn’t want me to leave her. Thank you FCDC for being so great! FCDC is the best place to start a 2-3 yr old in dance. Several parents I've met here drive in from surrounding towns because this studio is so good. Other studios can be much less flexible in their approach to handling separation anxiety with toddlers. FCDC allows a parent to be in the studio as long as necessary; so your little one can gain confidence in the studio over time. This was really important for our family. The owner, Taylor, is excellent with kids this age and is able to manage rogue toddlers while maintaining continuity of a class. FCDC has a professional dance studio vibe with trophies and the lot but also maintains a totally relaxed vibe, with recreational level classes available. Thanks FCDC!

My daughter loves going to dance. It's amazing to see how much she had learned, and continues to learn. Every teacher she has had she has loved. Each teacher (while young) are very experienced in dance techniques and enjoy teaching the girls everything they know. They are so caring and treat everyone as one big family.
