I signed up at this location in March or April, at the same time I cancelled my son's membership due to him going to college in Boston. They charged me to cancel his membership, and then didn't cancel it.

I have been in NC dealing with my father's estate as he passed right after I signed up and haven't even been to work out once.

Now I've come home for a week, tried to cancel MY membership and find out why they're still charging for my son's only to have to call ABC Financial and find out they never cancelled his, they just charged me the cancellation fee.

In order to cancel both memberships, I have to send a certified letter to Arkansas and request to cancel them and hope they accept them.

Long story short, as cheap as it is, go somewhere else. These people are clueless.

DO NOT GYM HERE - Tried to cancel my month to month membership and they make you jump through hoops and call this billing company who then needs a certified letter to them with 30 days notice and they are gonna charge me for late fees and all sorts of fees that you have to pay before you can officially cancel. It’s a scam
They tell you that you can cancel anytime but they actually auto-renew, then take you through a whole process through calling and waiting for hours and mailing the third party. It’s just awful
Even the gym itself is always sweaty and not clean. The trainers are not helpful and some of them are rude.

Great little gym. However part of its charm for me is it's not very busy, so with that said; insert generic complaint here, so the whole town doesn't flock to it and I have to wait for their machines!

I was told I can cancel membership anytime no hidden charges. I went to cancel mine, my wife’s, and sons membership after a year yesterday and they said I have to write a letter to ABC business for all three of us to cancel and that I will have to pay $249 cancellation fee per account in order to terminate a contract for 28 months that We never agreed too! Insofar as scamming gyms go, this one is tops! Be prepared to be amazed by a total lack of transparency in regards to your "contract". Want to quit the gym? Too bad! You're now a member for life unless you cut off your right arm. What's that? You're morally outraged by their shady sales tactics, 3rd party billing company, and lack of communication? Well, maybe you should have read the fine print while Chad from the front desk droned on as you attempted to read the "sign up form" on a scratched up, barely legible 1990's ThinkPad! On the upside there's plenty of parking. 0/5 - would rather jam a pen in my eye.

UPDATE: Fitness 2000 has sold to another company. NOW IS THE TIME TO ATTEMPT TO GET OUT OF THE "NO CONTRACT" CONTRACT!

Struggling to Cancel my membership agreement over a month, they try to make it very hard and there process is ridiculous. I have been paying membership fee over a year for not using a club. just to honor a 2 year contract that i have signed. my Contract is ending on 03/7, but when I called to not renew anymore, they ask me to send a certified mail. Why should I send a certified mail for cancellation?, just to make it hard for people to cancel!.

I hate this place. When they cancel they ask you for a letter and then they keep charging you and they do not let you know that the letter came to them and when you call them they tell you that the letter arrived but they need more proof to accept your cancellation. When you do not fill any contract with them and if you do not give them more tests they keep charging you.

Was on a 3 day guest pass at the gym, came a second day I told the guy I wasn't interested in signing up currently and was just trying it out, then I was told I had to pay 15 dollars. Zero honor with this place. This is why I don't like contract hungry gyms. I was thinking earlier that I might end up signing up down the road but definitely not going to now. Very scumbag move on fitness2000's part .

I like that it is small but some of these people need to learn some gym etiquette and re-rack their weights, MY GOD it is terrible here. If you have never been to a gym before there is some gym etiquette, such as RE-RACKING your weights when done.

Love the exercise classes. Affordable for less than $10 a month. Never too crowded. However, be forewarned that you'll be charged $15 for a "day guest pass" if you're wanting to try the gym out and didn't sign up for the guest pass online ahead of time. It's an unfortunate way to lose potential customers who happen to stop by to check the gym out.

This place bought out results fitness without us being aware, after we put in a written cancellation with them originally. They continued to charge us even after we explained Results must have made a mistake. We don't even live in this area any more nor have ever even step foot at this place and yet we are being charged by them for a companies mistake they bought. I have talked to their billing company and talked to them and they refuse to give us a refund because we don't have a copy of our cancellation letter from the gym that no longer exists anymore. They also made us send a new certified letter to cancel with them. It's a shame that they are taking advantage of people that never even intended to have a membership at their gym.

Good little gym! And even better for the money! I'm paying 12 bucks a month for the membership and baby care when I work out. I don't even know how they make that work but the equipment is all new and clean and there's a large enough selection of free weights to keep me busy. I only leave off the last star because there are no stretch mats or room for floor exercises. 5.5 stars!

Pros: Affordable and wholesome gym without your typical "meatheads", etc.
Fitness classes are included in the membership. Good environment. Neighborhood gym. Monday/Thursday open for 24 hours.

Cons: Not open for a full 24 hours, closes at 9pm on Fridays, and open from 8am-4pm or so on the weekends.
Personal training classes are a bit steep, but still OK.
No paper towels in restroom, need a better selection at the vending machines.

Really clean, spacious, and friendly staff. Great selection of workout equipment! So affordable even with annual fee of about 35$, on avg you pay under $13/mo if u calculate/ divide fee over 12mo. I can easily get through my routine of cardio, free weights and some of the cable and assisted machines. Also they offer a variety of free workout classes!
