I have been with Melissa for about 3 months now and have had a great experience! As someone who had never worked out in a gym before, I find her to be very accomodating. She meets you where you’re at and builds you up from there. A big thing for me was finding someone that was not judgemental and she is far from that! There have been many times she’s reminded me that there’s no shame in going down on weights as long as I have proper form. She provides the perfect balance of pushing you to be great and go hard but also being realistic about your capabilities. She’s very knowledgeable about what she does and takes great care in planning workouts and diet plans for her clients. She also has great energy and is very encouraging! Fitness By Darren has greatly improved my quality of life! In 2020, I was diagnosed with DDD and 2 herniated discs. After a year of intense physical therapy, I have managed to regain my mobility but have been hesitant to bring my health and fitness back to where it was before my diagnosis. After several failed diets and YouTube workout videos I decided to seek professional help. Darren has been excellent in handling my fitness journey by tailoring it to my physical needs without pushing too hard and keeping my back injury in mind. It has been just a little over 5 weeks and I have seen the most improvement I've ever seen on my weight loss journey. I have lost 5 pounds (even thought it genuinely feels like more), several inches overall, and over 1% body fat following his weekly training and diet. He keeps track of your progress with a complete body composition analysis which really helps you see your results in detail.
