Started yoga January 2020 and did not get many classes in before the world stopped. Between that and years following by caretaking and retirement, I have been not connected to any community. Flow Yoga has a vibe that reminds me of grad school, with interesting students and widely divergent instructors. Every class reflects the teacher and with so many classes and teachers available it would difficult to call this school routine or dull. Plus an unexpected bonus is their active events reflecting holidays, retreats and mediations on special subjects. I waited to join until my mat from Liforme arrived, but I need not waited as there are mats available. I felt foolish being a beginner and getting a pro mat, but it’s added to my overall enjoyment. After my trial membership, I chose the unlimited membership as I show up two to three times a week and enjoy the time spent there. I can not say the same for gyms I have signed up for previously, but it’s very similar to being in a martial arts school with the positivity and encouragement in abundance
for its students.

POSITIVES:
ATMOSPHERE
Beautifully designed spaces—one light and airy, the other cozy and dark with the feel of noble materials—make this studio truly special.
COMMUNITY
There’s a clear emphasis on building community beyond simply providing a place to practice yoga. The common spaces invite students to linger and chat over tea, and regular events and retreat offerings further encourage connection and belonging.
INSTRUCTORS
As for the classes? They can be wonderful. Some instructors offer high-quality teaching—it’s worth trying several classes to find the best fit. Others may not be as technically strong but have warm, engaging personalities that more than compensate; they’re worth seeking out too.
For me, entering this studio and taking classes with my preferred instructors has genuinely enriched my weekly life here in Georgetown in ways that are not easily quantifiable. At the same time, there are a few challenges that make it hard to sustain a long-term commitment...
DOWNSIDES:
TURNOVER
There’s quite a bit of instructor turnover.
INSTRUCTION STYLE / INJURY RISK
Most instructors teach from the front of the room and offer little to no physical correction, which can put hips and knees at risk of injury (I’ve had to sit out to recover from one).
SCHEDULE
There are no early afternoon classes.
CLASS STRUCTURE
Classes are capped at 60 minutes, which limits yoga’s full potential by allowing time to focus on only one main component—breath, body, or mind/spirit.
The ideal structure combines all three: a physical flow (asanas) that prepares the body, followed by breathwork (pranayama) to quiet the mind, and ending with the restorative stillness of Savasana to integrate the practice. At this studio, however, students are more likely to experience either a long (20–30+ minute) meditative experience, or an extended breathwork session that takes up most of the class, or a class focused mainly on physical movement.
Most classes offer a wonderful 45–50 minutes of movement-focused practice that incorporates basic breathwork and prepares the mind for meditation—but then end with only a brief, perfunctory 5–10 minute Savasana. Research suggests it takes the body 12–15 minutes just to reach physiological relaxation, and a 20-minute Savasana after a 45–50 minute flow ensures this state is both reached and sustained.
Instructors typically invite students to “stay in Savasana as long as they’d like,” but with fellow students cleaning up their stations and new ones entering for the next class, this becomes more of a polite gesture than a real possibility.

1. The service: the intentional greeting upon arrival is so warm, flattering, and starts the session out with positive energy! Dina has amazing energy, and makes everyone feel so welcome. She is very kind and patience.
2. The experience: I’ve never participated in group meditation classes until now, and this has exceeded my expectations. The guidance during these sessions is unparalleled. That is an element of the practice that is typically missing from self guided sessions, for me. The level of expertise provided, from the sounds, to the focus reminders, etc, provided make for an experience like no other.
3. The environment: you walk in and are met with a well maintained, clean, fresh, environment, with high quality work out equipment- The plants are healthy and thriving, the tea being served is hot and fresh.
4. The products: we purchased a quality Tarot Card Holder from this location, and it is fantastic, with a gorgeous design.

I enjoy the classes that I attend but really dislike sound" bathing" and any heated sessions. It is confusing which ones include these and it would be helpful to know which classes do. A brief description including sound and heat would be helpful so one does not find themselves in an uncomfortable environment.

I am loving my new yoga home! Having practiced for many years in a number of different cities, Yoga Flow may be my all time favorite. It has a great vibe whether your class is in the sun room or the moon room. There is a wide variety of classes to meet everyone’s needs. But I think what I was most impressed with was just how clean it always is. The studios are always super clean and smell great as are the bathrooms. The teachers are also amazing with lots of knowledge to share! I love it!

I had an excellent experience with Flow Yoga for a private event yoga session that I had for me and my friends! Jenny did a great job communicating/coordinating with me for some last minute logistics. Katie was a great teacher, and brought a very calming energy that was much appreciated! I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my private class, and know I will be back for more classes at Flow!

Heated & non heated vinyasa flows are my favorite and Keely & Lindzi are amazing instructors! You can tell they practice yoga consistently and love it because they lead the class gracefully which makes it easy to flow along with them. And they know how to incorporate faster rhythms and challenges with time under tension. You get stretching, strengthening and some yummy chai tea to sip on after class.

I enjoy the classes and the instructors clearly enjoy what they do. However the website keeps me from coming often. It is always a hassle, buttons just don’t work, resetting the your password doesn’t work. And this has been a problem since this studio has opened. If it were a very small business I’d understand but this company is too large for the website to be so buggy

I’m still just in my first weeks of Yoga at the Georgetown studio, but I’ve been impressed! I’ve been trying several different styles to see what fits my needs and love the options. As a beginner, my favorite has been slow flow, but I love Hatha Yoga and Yin + Sound as well. Before and after the classes it’s easy to speak with instructors about movement questions. I found that very helpful because I felt like the instructor made sure to casually mention accommodations that I needed during the class. The studio itself is very clean and relaxing. I can tell they are building a positive community. I’m glad to find a place to move and strengthen my body in the gentle way I need right now in conjunction with my other low impact exercises.

This is a lovely new yoga studio in Georgetown. It’s spacious, bright, clean and have several classes offered throughout the day. The sitting area has a nice and large sofa with other chairs for yogis to chat and sip tea (which is available for free). It’s a great place to mingle or wait for class to start. The instructors are all friendly, nice and knowledgeable. I look forward to taking more classes with different styles. The fact that it’s only an 8 minute drive from my house is a massive bonus.

I have been coming here for about six months, off and on, but consistent on Fridays at 9 with Selena. I was skeptical at first, since it was a level 3 class and to be honest, I'm like a brick and not that flexible. I met her and she assured me that it was challenging but I would be okay. As a hardcore weightlifter, I have been doing yoga off and on for fifteen years and I can honestly say that Selena is one of the best instructors I have ever had. First of all, she really pushes me to new limits. Nothing scary, just that extra push we all need at times. Second, my arms are 16 inches around and there is no way in hell I can cross my elbows. I asked her about this (because she loves feedback), and the next week she told me she met with a friend at Stretchzone and he told her somethings I could do to get more flexibility. Now, before class starts she usually talks to me and tells me what poses will be done and gives me a variation on how I can do them. You really just don't get that level of service at most places. I'm not a Yogi, or whatever, I am Selena's student and I really appreciate how much her classes have helped when I am in the gym with strength and opening up my range of motion, which has pushed my strength to new limits. Don't be afraid to take her class, be excited. You will not regret it.

I am new to the area and was looking for a caring, quality, spiritual yoga studio AND community in general. This place is definitely quality and caring! I love that they have tea when you walk in and multiple oracle decks to help ground you as you come in from the busy world. The studio does feel somewhat "business" like because they are in a strip mall and its very streamlined inside, so I miss the spiritual aspect in some moments. Overall a true GEM in Georgetown AND the fact that I can attend class and community events at all their Austin locations makes the cost totally worth it.
I tried out over 8 different classes and instructors. Instructors that stand out to me are Claire, Kate and Linzi for the environment they created, their creativity and their flows. Marla is also a very knowledgable yogi and teacher.
I know I found this place for a reason! And hope to continue building community with the variety of people that attend Flow.

Love this yoga studio! I’ve been attending classes for a month and I started out with the plan of trying out several different classes/ instructors but after taking Carolyn’s I was hooked and continue to take her classes! The studio is stunning inside and everyone is so kind. My only “negative” commit would be in the main studio it echos quite a bit and is large so if you’re in the back it can be a little difficult to hear. However if you take the same class/instructor you start to pick up on their style and is easier to follow.
Highly recommend!

This studio is great! I’ve been looking for a heated studio in the area and am so thankful FloYoga came to Georgetown. The instructors are very helpful and personable. I've been attending yoga classes since 2007, in a total of 5 different cities. When I moved to GTX in 2021, I had difficulty finding a studio that felt like home to me. This is the studio I've been waiting for. I'm so glad Flow Yoga is here. Beautiful space, thoughtful folks, and a good variety of classes.

This place is a gem!! We (BF and I)
attended several classes at GT location as well as Cedar Park location. We live in GT so most convenient for us. Both studios lovely. We really enjoyed the Yin & Sound Healing taught by Stephanie W. Truly magnificent! Aditya’s Hatha Flow very good too! We did special evening event @ GT— Sound Healing with New Moon Manifestation Workshop— involving intention setting in wake of new moon, relevant meditation, and fitting sound healing session at close. It was so beautiful!! At Cedar Park, we did Sound Healing & Acupuncture session. Also, extraordinary!! We love, love, love the Flexibility & Mobility classes offered by Carolina B.
My only suggestion would be for longer regular classes when possible :) e.g., 75-90 mins, as I’ve done longer Yin & Sound Healing and the extra time really does support effective practice in Yin.
Sincerely grateful for this establishment and related studios! Can’t wait to try others in Austin. Hopefully soon, we will get to attend a class at 3rd Eye!

I hadn’t taken a yoga class in about 5 years, so I was a little nervous about starting back! I’m so glad I found Flow Yoga! The classes I started with were not intimidating at all and were so relaxing, just what I needed! (Flow + Chill class / Yin + Sound class). Looking forward to more challenging classes in the future, but for now, these classes are just perfect! A great place to start!
The studio is always clean, well organized and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I’m so glad I took the first step back into my yoga routine! Can’t recommend Flow Yoga enough! Love this studio! 💙💙

I've been attending the new Flow Yoga Studio in Georgetown for a little over a month now, and while there are some positives, there are also areas that need improvement.
First, the staff is very nice and friendly, which is always appreciated. However, I found that there is a lack of initiative when it comes to helping new visitors. On my first visit, I felt completely clueless and wished someone had stepped in to guide me. Considering the studio is new, this level of support should be a given to help newcomers feel more comfortable.
On the positive side, my body and mind are definitely healthier since I started attending classes. The location is beautiful, and I genuinely look forward to my classes. I've had the chance to try a variety of classes and instructors, and I've found that once you find a class and instructor you like, it’s best to stick with them. Each instructor brings something different to the table, even for the same class type.
There are a few distractions that detract from the overall experience. The chime on the door is unbelievably distracting, especially when start and end times line up. Additionally, noise from people talking, using the restroom, and banging items into the cubbies can be quite disruptive, particularly in the Moon Room. Speaking of the Moon Room, it’s too small and often feels like we’re packed in like sardines, which is not enjoyable.

I have been thinking about picking up yoga again after a long hiatus. I am older and very inflexible, and used to practice about 10years ago.
I have loved every class I have attended and didn’t feel pressured at all. Everyone is very welcoming, and they explain the poses well. Jenny at the front desk was my initial contact and she helped me navigate the process of signing up. She is always there with a happy smile and willing to answer questions.
There is a class for everyone! Although I think my favorite class is the Wednesday Flexibility & Mobility class and would love to see this offered more frequently.
Glad you opened your studio.

The Flow Yoga-Georgetown is absolutely amazing. The space is inviting and beautiful, the instructors are incredibly talented and diverse, and the pricing is so reasonable. It offers a variety of classes (Hatha, Flow, Vinyasa, yin and Kundalini) throughout the day. The schedule allows for so much flexibility. I love that I can register for a class or just drop-in. Also, the studio regularly hosts workshops and special events to build an even stronger yoga community here in Georgetown.

Flow Yoga Georgetown has been great! The facilities are clean, their staff are friendly and welcoming, and their yoga teachers are knowledgeable. Though I have been doing yoga for many years, they make the studio space very approachable for newcomers including free use of mats if you forget or don’t have your own as well as providing blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps. I’m so glad Flow Yoga opened in Georgetown. I’ve taken four or five classes so far, all of them either flow or hatha, and really enjoyed them. I like that the hatha and flow classes are true to those respective traditions rather than mashups of various yoga practices. It’s a true yoga studio. The instructors are knowledgeable, competent and skilled at guiding students through class.
The space is tastefully finished out. The yoga room is a nice big size and doesn’t feel cramped with a lot people in the class. The high exposed ceiling lends a quasi industrial feel and two of the walls are banks of windows (staff assures me that outsiders can’t see in during the day). There are three bathrooms so people who can’t wear exercise clothes all day have a place to change. You can bring your own yoga mat or use one of several at the studio. The studio also offers blocks, blankets and bolsters.
I highly recommend Flow Yoga Georgetown and hope to see it thrive. I plan to take more and different classes there.

This was my first time visiting Flow Yoga, I generally go to Core Power Yoga in Austin or Black Swan in Round Rock, but was excited to see a new studio closer to me. The classes are not very diverse, but I kinda expected that, being that the location is in Georgetown. I’ve taken a few courses, but the heated vinyasa with Lindzi has been my favorite so far. She was very kind and was the first instructor who made me feel welcomed into the space. The only thing that I didn’t love was that my first session at the studio, no one welcomed me as a new student at the facility. I’m used to other studios showing me the check in process and helping me navigate my way around the studio. When I arrived for my first class, the instructor didn’t greet me (it was just her and I in the lobby) and she didn’t let me know what items I needed to grab for her class. Thankfully, another student helped me out. Not sure if I’ll buy a membership and make this my home studio yet. Still getting a feel for the community and inclusivity, so we will see! Hoping to try some other classes with other instructors, as well. The space is very beautiful though!

I really like Flow Yoga in Georgetown. We haven't had a good location for yoga in a while and I love that they offer heated yoga classes.
The aesthetic is pleasing and the studio is very clean.
I have been injured and haven't worked out in months. I joined Flow Yoga with the intention of getting a good stretch and preparing myself to get back to the gym. I signed up with the 30-day special and plan on continuing as an unlimited member.
I have taken several classes with Lyndzi, Selena, and Katie. I enjoyed Lydnzi's teaching. Her class helped give me the hip/back stretch that I have been needing. Selena's classes are definitely more advanced, but she always gives easier options and makes me feel comfortable with doing it at my level. She is very knowledgeable and she keeps things very fluid. Today was my first class with Katie and I enjoyed it very much. Her class was fluid, but slow enough that I could follow along easy. Her instructions were very clear and she gave multiple options to make it easier when needed. Overall I would highly recommend this studio.

I waited a long time for real yoga to come to Georgetown! Flow was worth the wait! They have a great schedule with a lot of class and teacher variety as well as tons of classes at convenient times throughout the day, 7 days a week. The teachers are genuine, professional, experienced, and each one offers a little something different in their teaching style and instruction. I'm loving my Flow Yoga!!!
