Joined right when they opened. I have belonged to a lot of gyms all over Texas due to my work. Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a gym. I asked a lot of questions before joining and was pretty much lied to just to get my business. When I cancelled they did the 1970's....lets charge you extra for leaving. Not a smart business practice especially in a small community and needing good word of mouth advertising. I joined one of their competitors gyms and am extremely happy. Don't waste your time of money at this location!......

The staff behind the front desk constantly talk crap about members behind their back and soon as they walk away. Heard it multiple times and I have had friends that worked there tell me it’s so much worse when it’s just the staff there. Gym is great 5/5 but the people working there at 1/5 at best.

Reasons why I can’t give this gym five stars:
-the receptionist with black hair and tattoos. She comes across as snobby and put off. She seems irritated at times, and she just chitchats with other gym goers when there are people trying to ask legitimate questions about different services they have here.
-the cost is a little outrageous. There other boutique gyms with the same equipment that don’t cost this much. I understand that they offer various types of classes and amenities, but these are separate from the gym membership. I will not get into the cancellation fees as so many other reviewers have done that.

Reasons to sign up:
-the rest of the staff, aside from the receptionist, is very friendly and always willing to help.
-They offer various types of services that I would use if they had more flexibility on pricing. They charge a little too much for some of the things they offer, but that seems to be congruent with the price of their gym membership.
-Smoothie bar is great.
-The place is pretty clean.
-The place is never really busy. (I can see why their fees are so high)

Aledo sorely needed a place like this. Gym is clean, well taken care of, constantly adding new equipment, and has tons of extra amenities a la carte if that's your thing. The 24 hour access is a game changer as well.

Not really any cons to speak of if you need a convenient place to get a lift in and aren't necessarily looking for the cheapest deal in town.

My partner and I travelled to Texas to compete at the Pan Americans IBJJF Championship and visited this gym throughout the week leading up to the competition. The gym facility is absolutely amazing and the owners were extremely friendly and accomodating during our visits. The bjj classes were also awesome and exactly what we needed prior to competing. The coach Devin is also a very high level wrestler and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back here on our next visit 🙂.

My partner and I recently traveled from Australia to compete in the Pan American Championship, and Fortified Fitness was an ideal place for us to train during our stay.

From the moment we arrived, the team at Fortified Fitness was welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us, making it easy to fit in training sessions around our schedule.

The facility is well-maintained and fully equipped, with spacious mats and all the resources we needed. The coaches are knowledgeable and professional, providing helpful insights that really enhanced our preparation.

Was needing a gym I could go to for the short term and was made aware signing up that I wouldn’t incur cancellation fees by going with the month to month after specifically clarifying to avoid an issue like this. Sure enough I was and nothing was sent to me via email (as I asked) SPECIFYING I would be required to pay $97 if and when I decided to cancel. For weights gym and sauna only: The Month to Month costs $150 to start up + $85 a month + and an additional $97 (supposed to be $85) to cancel. The yearly costs an additional month (not sure what the price is) to cancel as well + $100 cancellation fee. I was under the impression I would pay the premium to avoid the $100 fee by being a member for less than a year. Anthony as usual attempted to help but the Manager used the classic “well you signed” as his rebuttal 😂. He was indeed correct, signing up was my mistake.

Also the young staff up front is more about chatting than helping patrons during my visits.

I joined FF this week and I felt compelled to leave a review. The facility is outstanding and has everything you could possibly need for your health and wellness journey. The folks that work there are more than friendly and accommodating if you need anything during your visit. The 24/7 access is also seamless by either key fob or phone app.

I would also add that the cleanliness of the facility is top notch. Thank you FF for all that you do and my only regret is that I didn’t join sooner. If you are in the area stop in and take a tour, you won’t regret it.

Gorgeous cutting-edge facility! Gym is completely very clean and decked out with top of the line Hammer Strength and LifeFitness equipment. The owner goes above and beyond with one of the most important components in fitness: RECOVERY. They have a cold plunge, red light and dry sauna , and more...🧖‍♀️ boxing ring set up for events… boxing studio. The staff is so friendly, especially the gal at the smoothie bar with red hair and tattoos. She even gave me some great tips on healthy food choices and grocery shopping.

I’ve had a membership before they opened and no idea why I still have one. The staff that I’ve interacted with in person there were dismissive and rude and whomever I deal with online come off the same.

I’ve only been there once due to the way they talk about members when they aren’t around. If you go there to improve yourself and already have image issues this isn’t the place for you as their staff will mock you when you are out of ear shot. I sat and listened to it when I was getting my fob.

I did speak to a female who does training and she genuinely is a decent person but the counter staff need a morality check.

Started "Red Light Therapy" with the hope to improve some blood clots and inflammation, which were caused by medication. What a difference! Not only did it help, but I have never felt better!
