I’ve been working with Mike at Freeform Fitness for about four months, and the progress I’ve made has been incredible. I came in with a few injuries, along with ongoing nerve issues . From day one, Mike made me feel heard and supported.
Every workout has been tailored to what my body can handle, and we adjust as needed on the spot. I’ve noticed a real improvement in my strength.
He explains why we’re doing each exercise, focuses on proper form, and always make sure I’m moving safely. I feel consistently challenged in the right way.

Just over a year ago I weighed 265, the heaviest I've ever been. Never really worked out, self-conscious about going to the gym, and overall lost when it came to getting healthy. I've been going to Freeform Fitness working with Mike for about 4.5 months now and have dropped over 40 Lbs total (i'm now 220). He has helped guide me in eating right, strength training 2-3 times a week, and really pushed me to be a better me. For those who are anxious about starting your health journey, I would absolutely recommend Freeform. Mike genuinely cares about you and your health. I knew Mike personally prior to hiring him as a personal trainer. I have a background in athletics but haven't had a regimen in quite a while. The purpose of offering a business level status to Mike is because I wanted to be in better shape for my wedding. Throughout many years of intermittent efforts to workout, I have noted several trends. With few exceptions, I detested working out around other people, I was never able to consistently stay on track with a workout plan, and there was little to no structure to my workouts.
While I still don’t like working out around other people, having Mike as a trainer has helped me feel more confident/comfortable when I do have to work out around people.

My recovery/sleep, nutritional intake and workouts have all improved during my time training with Mike. He has taken the time to address my rest, recovery and sleep habits and provided feedback on how to make adjustments to see results. He has taken the time to go through my food log and do meal planning in order to help me see weight loss but more important fat loss and muscle growth.
