Brought my niece in the other day, and she had a great time. The lady at the front desk, Erin, was so nice and helpful. And the coaches are great too.

My son has been going to Fun and Fitness for the last 3 years. He loves gymnastics class with coach Yegor who is amazing with kids and very knowledgeable in all skills. He has also attended several summer/winter camps, the program never disappoints. The birthday parties are a great value for the money, we were very satisfied with our experience and the kids simply loved it.
A big shot out to Adriana and Erin at the front desk - from day one they have been responsive, corteous and helpful. Keep up the good work!

Our kid absolutely loves this place! From regular classes to birthday parties and Friday Fun Nights—she just can’t get enough. She’s been coming here since she was 3½, starting in Fun Tot’s and now proudly part of the Level 2 Women’s Team.
Her coach, Lulu, is fantastic. She really cares about the girls, is patient, keeps them motivated, and helps them hit their goals.
Birthday Parties? Stress-free! The coaches handle everything—setup, games, even helping in the party room. Parents can actually relax and just watch! We've done two parties here and both were great. Friday Fun Night? Perfect for a date night! Drop the kids off from 7:30–10:30 PM and they’ll have a blast while you get some time off. We’re so happy this gym is in our neighborhood. It’s safe, fun, and feels like family!

Our son has been in the recreational program for the past 1.5 years and he loves it! The preschool program is led by Coach Lisa and she is amazing! She has a natural ability to engage and involve the children whilst teaching them different skills. The rest of the coaches are also very good.
The gym is well equipped with different age appropriate training equipment for the varied age range they cater too.
Fun & Fitness organizes superb birthday parties for upto 40 children.
The front desk staff is efficient and friendly and always willing to help out with any inquiry be it billing, scheduling make-ups or help organize a party.

We absolutely love this gym! My daughter is in the recreational program, and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The coaches are incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s progress. They give great interaction and feedback, making sure the kids understand what they’re working on and feel confident doing it. I really appreciate how they empower the students to improve, set goals, and level up at a pace that keeps them excited and motivated.
My son is part of the competitive team, and the coaching there is truly top notch. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and know exactly how to support and challenge each athlete. They strike the perfect balance between being caring and encouraging while also pushing the kids to reach their full potential. It’s clear they take pride in developing strong athletes—physically and mentally.
On top of all that, the front desk staff is always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we need. From scheduling to answering questions, they make everything smooth and stress-free.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier. This gym is a supportive, professional, and uplifting environment for kids at every skill level. Highly recommend! 🙌💙🤸♀️🤸♂️

My daughter has been going for a year and has had many coaches, but we've seen a huge difference since she started classes with Coach Lua. She taught her to be disciplined, and something my wife and I love is that she focuses on the details and technique of each skill. She keeps us updated on her progress and what she needs to improve, and she's demanding. We are really glad with her. I could say that our experience at the gym has been better thanks to her; honestly, one of the best coaches! We see the progress, and I'd like to mention the front desk staff, they are incredible.

We love Fun & Fitness!!
We are having the best experience at Fun & Fitness with our daughter! Everyone, from the front desk, all of the coaches have been wonderful! Coach Yegor has been so patient and kind, we couldn’t have asked for a more professional coach for her.
Coach Ivana and Coach Lulu have been wonderful, they are so knowledgeable and friendly.
The place is always clean and has a great atmosphere. I would totally recommend it!

We had an amazing experience last weekend at this facility with my niece's party. Ivanna, Reem, and Isabella were extremely attentive and made the stress of hosting a party easy. They helped to set up food and decorations and kept the kids entertained with fun games and activities. They also helped pass out pizza and cupcakes which I appreciated. She also attends regular classes, and from what Dad tells me her coach has helped her gain confidence as a beginner, and they have seen fast improvements.

We decided to stopgoing to this gym after my daughter went there for some time. It was evident that not everyone has the same experience here. People tend to notice when you spend a lot of money here, and it shows. My daughter didn't feel welcome, and to be honest, neither did we. You can tell immediately away that there is a difference between privileged and regular members. Parents and children get the extra treatment. Just sit and observe: Some families are welcomed with open arms, while others are barely noticed. I also agree with what other people have said about the front desk: they are not very friendly. We have recently switched to Katy Gymnastics Sports and Performance, and our experience there has been so much better.

I absolutely love this gymnastics place! The name says it all, it is a super fun place for kids to have their classes. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how positive the environment is. Coach Paula is truly amazing. She is patient, energetic, and knows exactly how to make the kids feel confident while still having fun. You can tell she really cares about each child, helping them grow not just in their skills, but in their self-esteem too. My child looks forward to every single class!
The front desk service is also fantastic. Ivana is always friendly and super helpful with any questions. She makes everything so easy and makes me and my girls feel so welcomed.
Overall, this is such a great place for kids to learn, play, and feel supported. Highly recommend!

My granddaughter has been going to Fun & Fitness Gymnastics in Richmond, TX for some time now, and I can’t help but feel uneasy about an recurring issue with one of the women at the front desk. Whenever picking my granddaughter up, I like sitting in the front desk area. I can't help but notice this young lady (more times than not) consistently speaking negatively about others — be it fellow parents, staff members, or children — and it truly feels uncomfortable to me. I've noticed that her attitude often comes across as rude and dismissive, which makes me feel like she believes she's above everyone else. Her demeanor raises questions for me about whether she is related to the owners, as she seems to believe that she can just act however she wants and doesn't even conceal her remarks or hide her negative attitude. To make matters worse, her one co-worker seems to think it's funny too. Just today she made fun of two coworkers and a father leaving with his son all within 10 minutes.
It really upsets me to witness such negative atmosphere right at the entrance of an establishment that should be welcoming for parents and children. You should not be making fun of a father that helps pay your check.
I sincerely hope that management takes this complaint seriously, as it has been a concern of mine for quite some time now and I am not the only (grand)parent that notices it. If I see this happen again, we will take our granddaughter out of your program and look for an alternative. The only reason I've been hesitant to do so, is because my granddaughter absolutely loves her coach.
PS: After making this review, I took the time to read other reviews and it seems to me that the horrible attitude employees openly display, seems to be a reoccuring issue. I actually really like our coach and this is not directed at her. I cant help but wonder why the management does not do an etiquette training with it's employees. It does not help to answer the reviews here on google to mask the issues at hand, but not do anything to address the root cause.

It’s not good for children from 1-5 years. They have same number of activities every day. My child was in this gym for more than 8 months and I didn’t see any improvements. She lost interest in the gymnastics ultimately. They have very rigid schedule. In morning they included all age groups within same timings. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to given the real gymnastics experience.

We made the decision to cancel our membership because of the coaches obvious annoyance and frustration with the children throughout the classes. We’ve attended for close to a year and a half and I have never felt that the coaches have engaged enthusiastically with the kids to excite them and keep their attention. They snap at them and roll
Their eyes, they’re toddlers and this is their first years in gymnastics and they need adults that communicate with them on their level and create excitement. I basically paid an absurd amount. Of money for my kid to get snapped at for 45 min a week and I’m over it. I have my kids in dance and the contrast between the way the dance teachers engage with the kids is crazy. They are so warm and encouraging and energetic, perhaps this studio is best for older children and not the 3-6 age group.

We hosted my 5-year-old’s birthday party here and overall, it was fantastic! The space is huge, and I loved that we had the entire facility to ourselves. The coaches were organized and had all the activities down to a science, keeping the kids engaged and entertained the whole time. They were also helpful when it came to cutting the cake and packing up, which made things easier for us as parents. My only suggestion is regarding the party time slots. The 1.5-hour slot felt quite rushed, almost like running a marathon to fit everything in. I understand they offer 2-hour options later in the day, but those times can be a bit late for younger kids. Adjusting the timing options would make the experience even better. Overall, it’s a great place for a party, especially for those looking for an energetic and fun celebration!

Avoid this establishment! I enrolled my daughter in gymnastics nearly two years ago because she was passionate about it. However, to my dismay, she hasn't progressed even one level during this time. Despite numerous inquiries and discussions with the coach, we were informed that we needed to pay extra for level up clinics, which was never disclosed during enrollment. It's clear they prioritize profit over progress.
Despite attending these clinics, my daughter received no promotions, despite the additional expense. Moreover, she expressed frustration about not learning certain moves, which the coach seemingly ignored during classes. Initially, we questioned if it was a problem with our child, but it became evident that favoritism might be at play. Additionally, it seemed the coach’s lacked enthusiasm for ensuring the children performed exercises correctly.
On our final day, I highlighted to the manager how the coach neglected to correct improper techniques during class, appearing completely disengaged. When I provided a two-week notice to terminate the classes, the manager approached me to inquire about the reasons. She admitted fault, acknowledging that the coach should have alerted her to my daughter's lack of progress. To avoid further action, the manager suggested my daughter wasn't suited for gymnastics—an easy way out.
In conclusion, steer clear of this exploitative scheme disguised as a gymnastics program.

Unprofessional management. When speaking with the GM this evening, I asked for an email or contact info for the owner to speak to her about the concerns on how a situation was handled and was refused contact info. This is the letter I intended to send the owner and now I have been confined to posting on google. I will always support and foster growth for my children and this place has definitely been a disappointment.
** I would attach the email I referenced but it has names and I want to protect others not directly involved **
**update** The owner reached out and he is a true professional. Out of respect of him, I will no longer post negative comments. For awareness, platforms are used for communication purposes, both positive and negative. And to the reply, I did not ask for a cell phone, simply an email, but was denied by Mary, the GM.

Parents Beware!
Parents need to be warned about Fun & Fitness Gymnastics! We signed up our kids and their friend for big Splash Day Summer camp today which was advertised as a big event having inflatables and slip n slide and to bring a dry change of clothes.
There was no slip and slide, one small slide for 65 kids to share, a small bounce house and water balloons, and no gymnastics for 8 HOURS. It was a total money grab for their $300 worth of 2 small inflatables. I have rented much larger slides in my backyard.
But the part that was really concerning was for lunch, they shoved all 60+ kids in ONE party room for an HOUR, closed the door and wouldn’t let them leave with nothing to do. Kids were done eating in 15 minutes.
My 10 year old son who is very sensitive let the coach know he was getting a headache from the noise and all the kids screaming in that small enclosed space. The ‘mean coach’ Ms. Cassidy sternly told my son he had to stay in the room for the whole hour. She did not care about his headache and treated him very badly. I am livid about this. There were no activities to do and it was totally disorganized.
We picked up the kids and their friend 3 hours early because they all called letting us know how mean this coach was, how disorderly everything was, and how there was nothing left to do and no gymnastics. We have never had this happen anywhere else.
I called to discuss and the front desk manager Mariom kept talking over me and repeatedly interrupting me gloating about how great they are and how they’ve never had anyone complain while I tried to talk about my son’s sensitivities and his headache. The lack of care or concern was very upsetting. I lost it and had to finally hang up as she wouldn’t stop rudely talking over me!
I have heard from friends who quit this gym because of this ‘very mean coach’ but I waived it off. I don’t know if Coach Cassidy is the owner, and if not, the owner needs to know.

First of all, front office staffs are extremely rude. They are not willing to help.

My 6 year old daughter has been going to Fun & Fitness for a year now, and she absolutely loves it! With the gym closure last year mid-March due to COVID, they basically gave credit back for March's payment plus a couple of free classes to use when the gym opened back up again. So instead of taking one class a week, she went twice a week with those credits - which she loved!
Fun & Fitness also has summer camp & spring break camp, which my daughter has so much fun going to. Fun Friday Nights are awesome & cheap (discount if you're taking classes there) - date nights for the hubby & me!
At first, I visited 5 different gyms and was most impressed with this one as it was large to spread out the kids & had very good equipment - plus a large viewing area upstairs. Other gyms were smaller with limited equip. Westwood Gymnastics seemed popular but they acted like a corporation - 6 ladies sat behind their desk, unfriendly & told me to go online for details.
Not going to lie, but I wasn't happy at first. When my daughter first joined, I didn't like the coach & he acted like it was babysitting instead of gymnastic. They let me switch to a diff class time with a diff coach - this coach noticed my daughter was doing well, helped her improve a few things, and she moved up a level from Fit Kids to Super Fit in a couple of months. During summer camp, one of the coach noticed her potential and recruited her into the Excel Gymnastic program where she is currently competing!

My kids were not in competitive. They couldn't keep my son, 5 yo, attention for more than 1 year. My daughter has been here for 4 years at least. Before the Simone Biles hype, she had more consistent coaches & the rate was more reasonable. Since the explosion in gymnastics hype, the coaches changed every 2 weeks-1 month. Very high turnover rate. I would expect a change if she leveled up but that was not the case. The front desk manager said it was difficult to keep coaches since those positions are part-time and after school hours & all gymnastics schools are like that. NO THEY AREN'T BY THE WAY! I also told her my daughter became scared coming to class. The coaches would tell my daughter they would catch her if she fell. She fell several times with wrist/elbow pains lasting more than 1 week. Luckily, the pediatrician said they were muscle strains from over extensions and not broken. This is the closest gymnastics place to our home. Careless with my child, much more expensive than when we started, & new coaches every month.

Birthday party was wonderful!! The reasonable fee gave us the whole lobby and gym to ourselves. Coach “Sparkles” Duyen led the kids in games and was excellent with our 3-5yr olds. Coach Brie assisted and was also helpful. They have a HUGE blow up train that they use for birthday parties and the kids love running through its obstacle course and slide. I also really appreciated that Coach Duyen called me beforehand to ask what activities my daughter liked to do in the gym. She incorporated them into the games and I loved that! After the parents enjoyed watching the kids play for an hour, the coaches helped us serve cake and clean up at the end. Super friendly and great customer service. Highly recommend doing your birthday party here.

My kids really enjoy gymnastics at this gym. It is very crowded because it is the only one like this nearby. However, they are building some new parent seating areas. They also have parents night out and camps during school breaks, which have really saved my work schedule. The only quibble I have is that the one makeup class a month is a little limited.

Great coaches. All 3 of my boys have been in different classes here and all have loved it. 2 have done recreational classes and 1 competes. The competition team coaches are top notch. Equipment is great too.

My daughter attends the introductory classes for preschool and she really loves it. Great intro into gymnastics and helps with confidence and building strength. She loves her teacher and is always moving in classes. Saw some negative reviews and it must just depend on the teacher you get? My daughter really does look forward to her class each week and I really like that I get to watch her.

Worse place ever!! The good coaches are only for the higher levels. The recreational classes are taught by a bunch of teenagers that have no idea about anything. Since they don't know what they are doing our kids get hurt really easy and when you try to find a "grown up" to address the issue no one returned my calls or contacted me in anyway.

Great new facility, but sadly the front desk old Hispanic lady is extremely rude, unprofessional and incompetent. She fails to acknowledge who pays her paycheck - the PARENTS with their kiddos enrolled. She too should learn manners and treat parents courteous and should try smiling. Customer service is a MUST and apparently lacks this skillset completely! Definitely not a good image. An effective staff is eminent in a business in order to continue prospering. F&FG should re-work their hiring process and hire right. Also work on retaining the skillful coaches...

I agree with other folks posts here regarding instructors behavior and poor attitude. Not all, but several lack any sort of finesse with little children. Our last class actually resulted in me asking to speak with the General Manager. When the receptionist said he/she was not there, I asked her to have them call me......they never did. We were terribly disappointed with the lack of customer service and overall professionalism from their team members. Ultimately, it was our girls decision to discontinue and drop out.
In addition, my wife and I were frustrated with their policy of charging a full month's payment (4 classes) even when the gym elected to close (i.e. Spring Break) and offers 2-3 possible class days. They claim that it is balanced by other months that have 5 classes, but then if the child misses a day on those months they don't allow a makeup class. That basically means they are profiting from the kids' absences one way or another. No-one can truly end up averaging 4 classes a month in the end, even though that's what they paid for.
Also, the policy of only one make up day in the entire month is extremely inconvenient. Most kids have other scheduled activities on weekends and not everyone can make it to the only 2 hours they offer on a Saturday each month.
Bottom line, our girls were just not having fun in their classes and their inflexible policies and poor customer service resulted in a lousy experience and as a result, lousy review/rating.
On a side note, we have since enrolled them at Adrenaline in Katy and the instructors are TERRIFIC!! My daughters have LOVED the experience thus far. We are hopeful that we have finally found the RIGHT place!!

I like the place but some of their instructors need to learn manners big time. One of their instructor Denson is a bully. He bullies little kids esp on parents night out. He takes stuff away from them saying he wants to play with it and thinks its funny. He asked one kid to punch another kid in the stomach and then said he was kidding. The owners should observe him (first of all why hire someone with so many tattoos to train kids???), hes older than all other instructors and lacks basic common sense in dealing with kids.I have witnessed him bully kids, I've heard from my kid and from one other parent also. You all want true advise, FIRE HIM.... Also I really hope you all run background checks including criminal on all your instructors.

After what happened to me and my daughter today we will never be back. I bought a groupon for 8 classes to see how we liked it, I went in on Aug 25th to sign her up, the older lady I talked to told me to come in next week on the first week of Sept, that would be the 3rd of Sept. So we did, and today I get pulled aside to tell me that my 8 classes are up.....today is Oct 22. So my daughter came to class, the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th of Sept, and 1st, 8th 15th. And when we came for our last class on the 22nd they pulled her out after being here for 10-15 mins. The lady was rude and unrelenting, so sure of her own rightness. F&F must have started my groupon as soon as I showed up, and they have me down as coming on the 27th of Aug. But then told me to come for our first class on the 3rd of Sept. So frustrating. After that we went straight to westwood to sign up.

Some weeks they're amazing and some they're terrible! Depends on the coach and class, HUGE coach turnover. My child has had 6 coaches in less than six months. SHE'S FOUR NOT OK! Great facility and huge potential, but office staff sucks and some of their staff members are too young to care. 😕
