I’ve tried most yoga studios across NYC, Chicago, and more - and Gaia in Plano continues to be my favorite! I wish I lived here full time just so this could be my home studio. The classes are always the perfect number of people, the instructors are all amazing, and I leave feeling so good about myself! ❤️

I really have enjoyed this place, I truly enjoy Tuesday’s gentle Waves class. I also have really loved the option of sound baths on Fridays, there is no better way to start a weekend. The ambience of the studio is truly beautiful, and everyone that I have encountered has been so nice, welcoming and thoughtful. Looking forward to doing many more classes in 2025!

I love Gaia Flow Yoga in Plano. They offer a wide variety of classes, and their instructors are not only friendly but also highly skilled. I have visited many yoga studios, but Gaia Flow Yoga is the perfect place for me to deepen my practice and enhance my skills. One of my favorite classes is Chrystal’s Summit class on Saturdays at 7:30 AM—it’s always packed, and I highly recommend it!

Great yoga studio with the best instructors. I've been to all three of their locations on and off the past 10 years. Had breaks in my yoga practice for various reasons but whenever I come back, it's like I never left. Every instructor is very welcoming and eager to teach/ assist in your yoga poses. Highly recommended!

Juri was awesome. Her class was the best yoga class I have ever taken. She is so passionate about teaching that she even extended the class time. If Plano wasn't a drive for me, I'd come to this location regularly.

I've come here off and on for several years. I like the instruction, I like the heat and how clean it is. I like everything about it. And it's close by. Update: The instructors are great. The sound bath meditation is so nice. The room is set up really well. I love the pods so much I bought one for my bedroom to use when I meditate at home.

The classes are enjoyable and the meditation I am able to do is worth a thousand words. I was never into yoga but this sold me on it. The teachers are fantastic while also offering substitutions for poses. 10/10 would recommend even to beginners. P.S the upkeep and bathrooms are extremely nice

I want to start off by saying that I have loved all of my experiences at Gaia since I started attending classes a few months ago. All of the instructors have been lovely and I’ve learned a lot because they’re all so knowledgeable. I even bring friends to the classes from time to time.
However, my sister recently attended a class. In the first 10 minutes of class, the instructor asked my sister if she was pregnant. When my sister responded with “no”, the instructor told her that she should “suck in more because it looks better”. My sister is actively recovering from an eating disorder. I’m actually appalled that whoever the woman is thinks it’s acceptable to comment on her students’ bodies. I will have to rethink whether I want to continue my time at Gaia because while my personal experiences have been positive, I would feel horrible if I invited anyone else into an environment that fosters judgement and criticism, especially when it’s hard enough for people to gain the confidence to enter group fitness spaces.

Chrystal Rae has created a nurturing environment of caring and healing which is evident in everything she does, with Gaia Flow Yoga studios being an authentic example. This particular meditation was led by Chrystal herself, but I know that all of her instructors are chosen and trained to be enthusiastic followers of her mission, with the honest tagline "Love is Why". I always feel accepted and respected, despite my shortcomings and insecurities, and leave every class feeling better about myself. And Chrystal's assistant, Julie, made chai and had cookies for everyone to share afterward. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if I could have also made it to the yoga class preceding the meditation because, as Chrystal says, "Tuesdays are better together!" 😊

I actually brought a friend with me on my last visit.
Katina makes me feel like I'm in a safe space. She asks everyone to say something good about their day and addresses everyone by name, even new students. She's nurturing, makes everyone feel included, and I just love her so much!
The classes Gaia offers really help release unwanted energy. They're so helpful and all the instructors are knowledgeable about their practice. It's not just about stretching and breathing. 10/10

This place is the best yoga facility I’ve ever been to. The teachers are very well trained and care about each students practice. This place provides an awesome workout for the body, a cessation of the mind and a rejuvenation of the spirit. Gaia Flow has classes from beginner to expert and each class is tailored to fit the yogi at the level they are at in their practice. I played golf for a living for 10 years and spend thousands of dollars on trainers each year and I’ve learned that the kind of yoga that takes place at Gaia Flow is a better and cheaper option to keep the body (and mind) in a great place. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I was greeted so kindly when I walked in the door by Kathleen Goss, the instructor. It was like she was waiting on me - called me by name, gave me a tour and made me feel very comfortable. Then she even introduced me to the other students. VERY different feeling from my visit to another local studio. I am very grateful to her - plus the studio is light and bright.

Purchased $25 to try for a week. Came to attend a class and found out for the first time that all classes are HOT yoga. No where did it states on their “recruiting page” (prior to paying $25) that all classes are hot yoga. Thumbs down.

I've participated in six classes at Gaia Flow Yoga during my newbie first week (which was an amazing deal of $25 for unlimited classes for one week, a wonderful way to truly get the feel of the place)
and I am hooked. Each teacher I've experienced has been warm, inviting, incredibly knowledgeable, challenging, and directive. I tried all of their classes recommended for beginners and the variety was everything I was hoping for and more. (the Still Waters class is WAY more challenging than you'd like to believe!)
The community of teachers AND students here has truly blessed me this past week, so much so that I had to share my heart in this review. If you're looking for a place to feel welcomed to learn and experience, you've found it here.
Thank you Gaia Flow

Was visiting from out of town and ended up coming here because they offered classes when other people didn't. As for my background I've been practicing Hatha (the physical practice) yoga for roughly 4 years, mostly the Ashtanga sequence, and only recently begun to get serious about Raja yoga (the meditative component if one were to give a loose, clumsy definition) as defined by the Yoga Sutras. I'm also an instructor myself but my skill pales in comparison to what I encountered. The class I took was Desert (also a fan of the creative naming and general vibe of the place) and the instructor, Tanya, had creative sequencing - challenging enough for me but also something I would have appreciated as a beginner who was serious about learning and expanding my Hatha practice - I for one don't expect or want my practices to be filled with poses that come easy to me. The instructor gave numerous adjustments which is a skill I definitely appreciate as someone who is learning how to do it, as well as providing some time for contemplation rooted in the principles of Raja yoga, something I neglected entirely the first two and a half years of my practice but now see value in.
If I didn't live elsewhere I would likely make this place my regular practice spot as it looks to provide everything I'm currently looking for and probably more.

If you're a beginner don't let this review overwhelm you and make you think this is a place only for serious people who have a thorough understanding of things. That's just how I see things now with the experience I've had. It's perfectly sufficient for a beginner and a fine place to grow .

Great place to learn yoga. They practice Ashtanga and utilizing that in tandem with a 90 degree room makes for a really incredible workout. They really strive to work with each person in there to make sure people can stay on pace with them. The energy and meditation exercises there are really amazing and I would definitely recommend this place to any friend.
