Equipment is to close together no clear walking area some equipment in bad locationshad to stop using the cable machine at mid set someone walked by real close. Cable attachments left everywhere missing clippes on cable machines.

This is the best gym in the Rio Grande Valley. From an assortment of cardio machines to all the various isolation and compound equipment on the floor. Crazy how you get a email from a debt collector. This is a gym not a loan. I was added to my wife account to save on the monthly payments. No message, no email, no phone call of an issue with my account. My wife account was being charged fine, and we both had the same card on file.

This place is awsome. It's not huge gym, but the machines they have are pretty unique. Not many other gyms around the valley have them. I went there specifically to hit chest and back. I live in mcallen and would definitely make the drive on a weekend just for fun

I would rate it more stars if I could, been apart of gentry for about 2 years now and I’m not one to write reviews however this place has a very amazing environment here as soon as you walk in the staff is amazing with greeting you making you feel welcomed it’s your one stop shop for everything you need and the case where you happen to have a issue the manager or the staff are so quick to fix the issue resulting in better customer satisfaction. Truly the best gym I’ve been to here in the RGV!

The facility itself is top tier and the owners are certainly innovative but this gym is unfortunately too small to accommodate how popular it is. I would give a 0 star if I could! I cancelled my membership in person 2 times and even had to cancel for a 3rd time online resulting in me being overcharged 2 months! The manager (RICK) was rude when I tried to resolve the issue in person. Even the owners CHASE HOLDEN GENTRY , and JACLYN BLAKE SHAMPINE/GENTRY , were unwilling to resolve the issue. They would not refund me even though I have all the proof needed to be refunded . The manger (Rick) also said “ our system doesn’t allow us to refund.” So if you need to be refunded for any reason they supposedly aren’t even able to refund according to them. I gave them plenty of opportunities to meet in person to make things right , but they still blame ME for the issue. Let’s see who gets the last laugh hahaha……

Even though it was a soft opening of the gym the experience was AMAZING. I came down for my little cousins quinciera for 4 days and heard about this gym from San Antonio, the environment is way better than corporate gyms and the equipment was amazing, the gym is still being built qith more add-ons but overall and amazing experience, would come back again if I'm ever in town!!

The first gym I’ve felt the most comfortable as a member who is stating to workout again! I love the new gym and especially the amenities it provides for its members! The staff has been so welcoming since the day I went to sign up & continues to do so everyday when I walk into the building for my workout! The staff listens to the needs of its members for example looking into new machines based on the members requests! Couldn’t have signed up for a better gym as I start my fitness journey!

It's not completed so maybe one day I'll improve my score. For now it's a 3- gym feels cramped and loud due to ongoing construction. Too many combo racks imo. Only one true leg Press is a problem. Lot of assault bikes randomly placed next to machines, layout could be better. Gym Space could be utilized better. Some machines need to be re upholstered. All the attachments are just messily thrown on the floor.

Loving this gym is an understatement! So many new & easy to use machines that I've never seen in any other gym. Girlys who want the gains but are a bit shy, no worries. There’s an area designated for girls only, the glute machines are one of a kind & INSANE !

The customer service is also a 10/10 , always greeted with a smile & if you have any questions about new equipment there’s always someone who is willing to explain it to you. Found my new home this year !

I love Gentry 2.0! Coming from their old gym (which I also absolutely loved!) the improvement the Gentry team has made by adding tons of new equipment, so MUCH space and maintaining the Gentry atmosphere of old school gym meets luxury (2.0) is literally incredible. The babe cave, refuel station at extreme nutrition, photo-ops and upcoming recovery room (so excited to finally cold plunge in the near future) has seriously taken it to a next level. This is it. If you need a gym that does it right, go to Gentry. My lifts + health have seriously improved by being a member of this awesome gym. Thank you Gentry!

Most unique gym experience ever! The gym basically a warehouse with open sliding doors which gives it an outdoor environment climate (so get ready to sweat). There is also all kinds of equipment for all of your workout needs. I write this as a now member of gentry gym for almost a year. A year ago I started looking for a gym in Harlingen and after visiting three other gyms in town the clear choice was Gentry. When I checked out the other gyms I felt uncomfortable and rushed to sign up. Even though I informed them I was only looking for more info and to check it out before I signed up as I had other gyms I wanted to check out, I was still pressured and rushed to sign up then and there. It was uncomfortable telling them no and trying to leave. When I went to Gentry after speaking with Rick I informed him I still wanted to check other gyms before making a decision he respected that and showed me around the gym and the membership prices with no added pressure. Even now a year later it’s still a solid gym with solid people from the patrons, to Rick, to the Gentry’s.

Went in to take a tour, loved it from the get go… great machines and equipment… and the staff was amazing, smiles and greetings from the get go… let’s just say I signed up immediately and I wasn’t trying to sign at the time… went to the gym today and due to my shoulder surgery I had to leave early but I at least found out where I was when it came to my strength… hopefully next time i can finish… exactly what i was looking for in a gym… thanks for everything.
