Hands down the best gym ever! My fiancé and I have been going for almost a year now and we couldn’t have asked for a better gym on the island. Alex and Yesenia are always very welcoming and they’re just good people. The gym is also very clean, I’ve been to a lot of gyms and none of them are as clean as Golden Era. They also have new equipment and a sauna!

This is best gym I have ever been to in my life..I love the modern equipment and the management is very nice. I cannot say enough good things about this gym. The first time I stepped door into this gym I felt like a kid walking into a candy store. It was love at first sight. I have been going to gyms over 40 hrs and this is my favorite by far and it’s right on Galveston Island.

I joined Golden Era in June and have loved it ever since! I was looking for a gym that doesn't get so busy, and has lots of space with a variety of machines to choose from.
The price for a monthly membership won't break the bank either. The owners care about their patrons and keep everyone feeling energized and welcomed!

Golden Era is my second home, they treat you as family and the atmosphere in the gym is welcoming, clean and they have every piece of equipment you can think of, including a SAUNA yes on the island in a gym!!! Alex and Yesenia are great people and have a heart of gold. I started the day the gym opened and I’m so glad I did. So proud of my friends and their beautiful place they have built for everyone to enjoy and be able to work on themselves and feel comfortable by doing it! I love to walk into this gym. As I entered the door, I can already feel the atmosphere that it’s very inviting with all the equipment that they have to offer. It is completely clean and it smells terrific in there. This gym has the equipments and use which never seems to fail my training expectations. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a variety of equipment to use to get to their fitness goals.

This isn't just a gym, it's a place to rebuild your mind body and soul.
The people that come here are friendly and outgoing.
You have young people mixed with old cats like me.
I get advice from Alex G who is one of the professional body builders.
He's the most down to earth guy and always cool to talk to.

I have been to a lot of, gyms!! But to be honest with you!! I was overweight, and I ran into the owner and I told him that I didn't like to work out much,so he said do this and I promise you that you will drop,to whatever you want,if u want muscle we are here!!,but follow my routine about how to eat,and you will lose weight!! So I did exactly what that guy said, and I'm telling you that I dropped 40 pounds in following his advice!! So I went back to the gym and he gladly let me in, and he said wow I remember you,you look like you followed the advice!! I told him thank you, and the guy offered me a pass,to show what you can achieve if you stick,to what he has created!! A Golden ERA of Fitness!!! I advise everyone to come to this facility,were the guy acts like you are family!! Thank you so much I love my new body transformation

Best gym in Galveston by far. Equipment is fantastic and there’s a wide variety. There’s a machine for everything and this makes every lift unique. There’s a pump room with a tripod so you can show off how gnarly your lift was. Staff were very nice and helpful. Also, the sauna is amazing. One of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. 10/10

This place has everything you need for a great workout—tons of equipment, plenty of treadmills and stair steppers, and an amazing sauna to relax in afterward. I fell in LOVE with this gym the day I walked in for their Grand Opening- the owners are some of the most caring & genuine people you can meet. They truly care about our community.
I am a Galveston BOI and I have been to ALL of the gyms here on the island, while all are good in their own way- they always lacked something. Whether it was needing better/newer equipment- to the parking spots being nonexistent or hours just not working for my schedule. This gym has it all for me, Open 24hrs-365 days a year- All new gym equipment, and they are still adding more equipment, plenty of parking. A Gorgeous Sauna to relax after a workout and showers for us gals on the go. A posing room and so much more…
Plus the gym community vibe here is the Best. ✨😊
Definitely the gym this island has been needing. Definitely if you haven’t yet- come check them out.

Such an amazing gym!

Very spacious, tons of equipment that can be used multiple ways. Staff is extremely friendly & helpful. I feel very comfortable there.

The gym/bathrooms are always clean and there is cleaning solution in multiple spots throughout the gym!

I love the 24 access and the cost is perfect for our budget, I also love they offer family plans.

Golden Era is EASILY the best gym in Galveston county. There is no other facility like it. The machines are top notch, the facility is very clean, and there is so much space.
