Went in for a club fitting. Wes handled the entire process for me. It was great. He is extremely knowledgeable, guided me to the right-feel clubs for me, and came in at a great price. He also offers lessons which I will be looking into. 1000% recommend coming to GOLFTEC!

Called and talked to Wes about a recent frustration with another local golf establishment, about pulling and reshafting some clubs. He said no problem, bring them on by. Came in years ago for lessons but had to let it go because of added responsibilities. Started going again about 2 months ago and I’ve seen great improvements in my game. I used my instructor’s recommendation for clubs and that also added to my overall satisfaction. I signed up for extra lessons and don’t regret it at all. Went for a club fitting yesterday and was extremely happy with process. AJ had me hit 4-5 different models and narrowed it down to one as well as the best shaft, lie and length that fits me best. He also gave me some advice to help with my swing and get it straighten out which was a bonus. I love that they aren’t just trying to sell you clubs but get what’s right for you. AJ told me he wants me to get into clubs that I can grow with not just sell me clubs to band-aide my swing. After I receive my clubs I see lessons coming from him. Thank you AJ!

Amazing! AJ fitted me in 2018 with Ping i500’s and I’ve been happy ever since. I have gone to AJ a few times and as of today, I went in for a full bag fitting. AJ was completely honest and said, “let’s hone your swing skills more, before we fit you”. I’m going weekly (5 weeks) for swing lessons and see where I’m at. He said my entire bag is fine and maybe a shaft change later. Not that new clubs are out of the question, but it was nice to know what I have works. Now, I just need to make it better. Went for a club fitting. Did the whole bag in two different appointments. Setting up appointment was a piece of cake. Everything ran on time. When the clubs came in the manufacturer had sent the wrong clubs (not the fault of Golftec). Wes and AJ were right on it and I got the correct clubs within 4 days on a rush order. Great customer service. Love these new clubs.

Short Version: Before walking into GolfTec nine months ago, I had zero golf experience. My initial goal for my lessons was to be able to go to a golf course and play 18 holes without embarrassing myself. Under Wes’ instruction, I was able to surpass that goal by developing my swing to a point that I can build upon and actually enjoy the game. Wes is a great teacher, this GolfTec facility is fantastic for learning, and GolfTec’s use of technology enhances the traditional golf lesson experience.

Long Version: After a recommendation from my boss, who really enjoyed his GolfTec experience in North Carolina, I decided to invest in a 12-25 Game Plan. I reached out to Wes just as he opened his facility in late June. (The “12-25 Game Plan” included 12 months of video practice, 25 lessons, and the TECFit Club Fitting)

Here are some of the highlights:

1. Wes’ has an excellent teaching style. After a few sessions, he learned how I processed information (I’m very analytical) and adapted his teaching methods to make every session even more effective.

2. Wes and AJ create a positive and judgment-free learning environment. Golf was very intimidating to a newbie like me, but they answered every question I had, regardless of how simple or basic. They were always professional and treated me and every other client with the utmost respect. I could tell that everyone genuinely enjoyed practicing in the well-maintained practice bays.

3. GolfTec’s package format is fantastic for people with crazy schedules. With my package I was able to schedule an average of one 30-minute lesson with Wes each week and an additional two 30-minute practice sessions (one right after the lesson and another one before our next lesson). I had zero scheduling conflicts. The bays are very accessible by scheduling through their online system. I was able to plan multiple practice sessions weeks in advance or find a last-minute window of availability in the event I got out of work a little early and wanted some more practice.

4. Lesson plans are tailored to your goals. The majority of my lessons were focused on establishing solid swing fundamentals. I didn’t have a set of clubs, so I was able to practice with on-hand demos. Then, when I did my TECFit Club Fitting and started building my bag, we were able to add a little more variety to the lessons. We covered everything from putting, driving, and everything in between. We even conducted an on-course lesson to familiarize me with full play etiquette and course management basics.

5. There is a tangible end product. Not only am I able to walk away from this experience with knowledge in my head, but also with digital files of every lesson on my computer. I was able to download each lesson, which included video and notes/mental cues, which I will use beyond my 12 months of video practice.

I could go on, but as you see, my GolfTec experience was truly an investment towards learning the game of golf. Whether you’re new to the game or someone more experienced who wants to tune up their swing, I would highly recommend giving GolfTec a shot!
