Matt is an amazing Trainer! I worked with him after I was cleared to exercise following hip replacement surgery. It had been almost a year since I had worked out and I was "a little scared" to start working out, did not want to fall and experience the pain I had had prior to surgery. I had some bad lab work and some new health issues pop up. I felt overwhelmed like I had zero control on the situation. It’s a very lonely feeling when your family isn’t onboard with a healthy lifestyle. I’ve done group exercise classes in the past but was always hesitant about the investment with a personal trainer. Outstanding Trainer/Coach. Matt created a bit of an unorthodox "express" program for me on request that was a big success. For background, I've generally maintained a high-level of physical fitness over the years - but life comes at you fast. While I had my usual regimens (such as P90X) at my disposal, Matt spent a lot of time with me gathering my input and making suggestions to create a custom program that flexed with my crazy work schedule (including overnight travel), accounted for some nagging injuries, and focused on some specific areas such as improved lower body strength and flexibility. The result was a program the bulk of which I could do virtually anywhere and that had notable positive impacts in a matter of 2-3 weeks. We ultimately accomplished exactly what we set out to do.

Matt is exceptionally dedicated to his craft. He's highly knowledgeable of exercise physiology, extraordinarily accommodating to his clients wants & needs, and almost maniacally committed to their success. Working with Matt is not a series of canned workouts on a basic schedule with only marginal engagement from your trainer. It's a custom program that will challenge you in all the right ways regardless of your current fitness baseline or workout history. He's thought of everything, so all you need to do is show up. You'll be VERY glad you did!

I am very lucky to have Matt as my personal trainer. I had been active and played tennis & softball in my youth and have always been busy but I had a very unfortunate accident about 15 months ago and I broke both legs which included multiple surgeries on my left leg. After convalescing and being able to put weight on my leg again I started training with Matt.
He knew just how to get my strength and balance back, he is professional and very positive which is just what I needed during this dismal time in my life. I felt confident in his abilities and am now able to walk almost normally and go up stairs and not be left out when friends and family want to do stuff or travel, every week I feel a little stronger.
Matt knew with these sort of injuries it would require different training so as not to re-injure my leg. But the best thing about Matt is his positive energy and his making you feel like you can achieve all the goals set. Triathlons and my sons are former athletes as well. We all still train 5-6 days a week extremely hard. I approached Matt as a trainer after falling down my steps on a conference call and tearing my left knee, MCL & Meniscus. Yup, Matt was my go to for rehab after being cleared by my doctor. He truly outlined a knee strength program factoring in core, stability and diet.
