The coaches are passionate, knowledgeable, and truly care about helping every athlete reach their full potential—whether it’s stunting, tumbling, or building confidence. The owner and staff are always welcoming and supportive, not just to their own athletes but to local rec and school teams as well. My daughter was a competitive gymnast. Floor routine was always her favorite event. She decided she wanted to pursue dance instead of advancing to a backhandspring on the balance beam 😀 can't say i blame her! She wanted to keep her tumbling skills fresh so reached out to HOT to inquire about lessons. She's been coming for 4 years. The instructor Aaron is top notch and has an amazing understanding of the human body and how it works. He's able to explain things to her in a way she understands. He has really helped my daughter keep skills fresh as well as pushed her to new skills.

My daughter has been going here for 2 years and loves it! She has met some great friends and gained so much in her confidence. The cheer coaches really pour into their teams and want them to be the best they can be. My daughter gets so excited when she learns a new skill and gets to ring the bell! Heart of Texas Cheer has been life changing for my daughter, Saydee. She has grown not only in her tumbling and cheerleading skills but her confidence! My daughter started attending here when she was just 4 years old and has never wanted to leave. She just turned 9 in October. She is part of the competitive cheerleading program. She has made so many friends and loves her cheer family so much. Being part of Heart of Texas Cheer is like having a second family not only for your kid but for your whole family!! My daughter has been a part of this gym for 13 years, and I can honestly say that this gym has shaped who she is today. She has learned so much more than just cheerleading techniques. The coaches here truly care about each athlete’s growth, not only in their cheer skills but also in confidence, teamwork, and leadership.

Not particularly happy about any of it. Signed my daughter up for intro to cheer. Was double charged right out of the gate, never showed in her enrollments, and the first day nobody ever came and talked to me about it. To this day still don't know anything about it. My daughter ended up not liking it. The response time and the ability to actually get in touch with anybody is ridiculous. Wasted my money on it, don't recommend and will not be going back.

This is my daughter's 2nd year here at HOT! She absolutely loves it. She loves her teammates and loves the coaches. Any question I've had, they've answered quickly. And by quickly, I mean within a couple of hours. My daughter is learning so much and enjoying every moment she has to practice the skills she's learned. We can't wait to see what is in store for Holli as she continues her journey, here at HOT!!

I have been a part of this gym for 25 years, since the gym first started. BEST coaches and gym owner in Waco and surrounding area. The staff truly cares about every athlete and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel valued and grow in the sport. The word “family” truly defines the culture at HOT.

Im giving a 3. The coaches were wonderful and the owner wonderful for the most part.Their management is awful.Even after voicing my concerns with the owners daughter about the gym manager and having to deal with her I was told I wouldn't have to deal with her anymore. We were promised free cheer bags months ago for a huge order mix up and our girls were suppose to receive them back in May and have yet to receive them. I have messaged their gym manager (whom I was told I wouldn't have to deal with anymore) over 10 times and have been ignored all times. I have came to the conclusion that these free bags we were suppose to receive we will not get. Im not sure if this is because we left or what but this is very unprofessional to promise kids something then not hold up to their end. Also forgot to mention the part where the owner messaged me a few times regarding payments that she didn't receive even though I gave the money to her manager. When paying a lot the last thing you want to do is to constantly have to worry about if your money is going into the correct hands. I have so much more but going to leave it at this.

We went to this for three years, after deciding to leave based on things we didn't agree with happening in the gym it has been impossible to get a hold of the owner. We have requested a copy of our contract multiple times, and have received no response. They have stolen hundreds of dollars from us as well. We paid almost 600$ and after taking 250$ out for breaking contract they gave us 93$ back.

This gym is awful. People do not know what they are doing. Staff is not consistent and never on time. Waited for over an hour to get someone to show me and my child around. The gym is chaotic no one seems to know the schedules and stuff is always disorganized. You have to beg someone to meet with you. The office staff is never available.

Dropping my 3 stars to 1 star. This place is so unorganized, the girls that *coach* or whatever you want to call it don't even look like they enjoy their job. They never smiled or greeted my daughter or myself with any enthusiasm what so ever. My daughter was a beginner and her instructor didn't even really help her with anything! She was very half-arsed in her instruction. You can't watch your child from their cramped "waiting room" so parents are forced to sit and wait in the car. My daughter literally did the same thing every visit. $80 a month for some stuff we can do off YouTube? No thanks, actually on second thought YouTube would probably be more informative than this place!
Maybe they only care about the people doing the competition cheer or something idk. I pulled my child and am taking her somewhere else.

Very unorganized. Teachers don't actually teach how to do things properly, or even how to do them at all. No ac where the girls practice. I paid for 4 wks, we only went to 3 classes, because after going these 3 times they told my daughter she couldn't be in the class, because she couldn't do a back bend yet. She is in the beginners class for a reason, and had only been 3 times. She shouldnt have been treated that way. Online and in person packets say one thing, teacher say/do another. Would not recommend this place to any young ones starting out.

If I could give them zero stars I would! Terribly unprofessional. Made an appointment to tour the place after already signing my child up (big mistake). They required the appointment yet after waiting 20 minutes past the appointment time I ask for help and they inform me nobody would be showing up to show me anything. Won't even refund me for anything although we chose to never go to this gym after this awful orientation. I feel terrible for the kids in that gym practicing without AC in this heat to top it off! I would never recommend this gym to anyone!

I have had an overall pleasant experience with this gym so far. Ms Cindy is super sweet and accommodating with our schedule/fees. My daughter is steadily improving in her advanced tumbling classes. Coach Aaron is awesome!!! He is very through with giving her tips on specific things to work on each week.

My daughter started on a prep team with only a back walkover and very quickly mastered her back handspring. She then moved to a Allstar Jr2 team and excelled tremendously! She now has a beautiful layout and is motivated to level up more! The coaches are GREAT! We absolutely LOVE coach Aaron & coach Bri!!
