I cancelled my membership today after becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of consistency in the sauna experience. The saunas are rarely warm, and while you market a niche environment, it feels like cost-cutting has taken priority over delivering the service promised to members.

After raising the same concern to staff on more than ten occasions about saunas sitting at only 80 degrees, nothing has improved. At this point, it’s simply not worth my time or money.

As a former member of the Deer Park location (different ownership), I never once encountered these issues, which makes the contrast even more disappointing. I truly hope this location makes the necessary improvements to meet the standard of other locations and provide the level of service members are paying for.

This location has seriously declined. I’m a sweat everywhere member but this is my home studio and I hardly come here — and the unwelcoming, borderline rude behavior from the staff is a big reason why.

Most recently, my pregnant sister stopped by during clearly posted staffed hours to pick something up for me. She wasn’t in workout clothes, so it was obvious she wasn’t trying to access the facility — and yet, she stood outside while the staff stared at her through the locked door, refusing to acknowledge her for far too long. When someone finally came to the door, they opened it just a crack, blocked the entrance with their body, and offered no greeting — just a blank stare.

When she explained she was there to pick something up on my behalf, she was immediately brushed off with a dismissive “we don’t do that.” No attempt was made to verify her story, ask for my name, or check my account. It wasn’t until she called me and I relayed the exact same explanation that someone vaguely recalled my call from a few days earlier — and begrudgingly helped her.

The entire interaction was unnecessary, uncomfortable, and frankly unprofessional. I understand if there are policies in place, but this wasn’t about rules — it was about attitude. And this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced or heard about staff at this studio acting cold, condescending, or flat-out dismissive.

How is this supposed to be a welcoming environment for anyone looking to start their fitness journey or sign up for a membership? First impressions matter, and interactions like this send a clear message: you’re not welcome here unless you’re already part of the club — and even then, don’t expect much.

If they had taken two seconds to listen and communicate like decent human beings, this could’ve been a non-issue. But treating someone — especially a pregnant woman — like an unwelcome nuisance is absolutely unacceptable

I still continue to workout here because of the maintenance and friendly service. However, if you are trying to earn calories and reach higher levels, it's not gonna work on your favor. When I started i wanted to reach the highest level so I can acrue points for freebies. The app deleted around 5,600 calories so far, making it impossible for me to reach my goals. I don't know this is even happening, but it's shady.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Back in August, I signed up for what was advertised as a $1 first-month trial. However, the very next day, I was charged the full membership price without my knowledge. I found this extremely shady, so I immediately called the Baytown location to cancel. The lady I spoke to assured me my membership was canceled and even issued a refund.

I thought that was the end of it—WRONG. Despite being told my membership was canceled, they continued charging me every month until December! I wasn’t even aware of it because I hadn’t checked my credit card transactions. When I finally noticed, I called them over a dozen times, only to be given the runaround. Every time, I was told, “The owner will reach out to you about the refund.” That never happened.

In total, they took almost $400 from me—for a membership I never even used. I never once set foot in this place! They are thieves and scammers who care only about money, not their customers or reputation. If you’re considering signing up here, BEWARE. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that actually values honesty and customer service.

Just got a membership about a month or two ago. Staff is extremely friendly always smiling and ready to help. Price of establishment is great. I love the private aspect of the work out. I also love that it is a 24/7 location and I can work out what time best fits my schedule, I wish I knew about this place sooner. 10/10, Highly recommend! It’s everything from the Managment/Staff and their professionalism to the cleanliness of the facility, that makes this place worth the investment . There are so many health benefits to the 3D workouts that HOTWORX offers. You get 24 hour access, the option to workout alone (or not), a virtual trainer, and best of all… INFRARED Therapy! The benefits of Infrared alone are amazing for the body/ organs! It’s a great way to detox, is GREAT for the skin and helps immensely with inflammation ! I love this place!!!!
