I've really enjoyed working out at HOTWORX Fairfield. Rylie makes all the difference in her customer service. She remembers my name and is always willing to help when I forget to bring my mat or need something. Highly recommend HOTWORX Fairfield. Love their infrared sauna and convenient location.

Rylie is great gave me all the info I needed she’s gets 5 stars. However every time I go I feel like the saunas are on a very low temperature and they don’t heat up all the way until my workout is over. This has me thinking about canceling my membership and I’ve only had it a few weeks..

I had high hopes for this HOTWORX location, but unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. Most of the equipment is broken or not working properly, which defeats the whole purpose of a workout. The infrared rooms rarely have the correct temperature, making it feel like a regular gym session instead of the hot workout it's supposed to be.

On top of that, the cleanliness of the place is a concern. The floors and equipment don’t seem to be cleaned regularly, and I’ve noticed buildup and clutter in areas that should be well-maintained. I’ve added photos and videos to show what I’m referring to, as this has been an ongoing issue and not just a one-time thing.

I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously—this location has potential, but it’s not being taken care of the way it should be.

The cleanliness at this location is lacking. The restroom toilet has been soiled for multiple days. The same trash will remain on the floor for weeks. One restroom hasn’t had hand soap in over 2 months. The wipes to clean equipment are empty every other day, sometimes daily. There is hair and dirt on the floors inside the sauna. The FX zone does not have all of the equipment showed in the videos, no lat pull down bar. The vending machine is not stocked with hot worx products. I wish there was a cleaner location to workout at in Cypress.

It’s clear that the owner doesn’t care about this facility. It’s dirty, there is always 1 restroom that is “out of order”, all the seats on the cycles & ellipticals (Hot Blast) are ripped (one does have a cover over it). Why can’t they get covers for all of the seats? And most of all the entry door is always broken. Anyone can just walk in…THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE & a HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. We use to be members at the Spring (Riley Fuzzel) location & it was a completely different experience. It is in pristine condition & the owner was there a lot taking care of the place. Unfortunately we moved out to the Cypress area & had to join here…we are so dissatisfied. The owner is a CHEAPSKATE & obviously doesn’t care about this place & keeping his customers happy. DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER HERE.

We have been members here for about a year and a half. Over the last 6 months, this place has absolutely morphed into being dirty ALL the time. Barely any sanitation wipes. People using equipment and just dripping their sweat down the length of the hall to the bathroom. Bench is barely functional. Room 8 is never available to book online even though it's functional.

Today I booked a session for myself and found someone who was not registered for that session in the room. I asked the front desk, what was the point of making a reservation if I can't even use the room I want. She just shrugged her shoulders and then told the person in the room that I had booked it. That person now comes out of the room to BERATE me about how it shouldn't matter that he didn't book and I should just take another seat in the room! When i tried to go to a different room, that person continued to berate me saying "it's not a big deal" and "I come here all the time and don't book." The front desk associate continued to allow this man to berate me. And say "I'm not taking sides here." While I tried again to set up my stuff in the room I booked, the man who had already spent 5 minutes berating me, was still taking in the room next to mine as LOUD as he could about the situation still GOING OFF.
I immediately walked out and asked the front desk associate for the manager's number. She said she couldn't provide that but then proceeded to call him in front of me. She told him the situation and took my number down like I wasn't standing in front of her the whole time. And then gave me his number! Why wouldn't you just pass the phone to me at that point? After she got off the phone, I asked her why she didn't say anything to the man about not having a reservation. She said, because I do that ALL the time and I don't think it's a big deal."

Moral of the story - there's no point in making a reservation bc ANYONE can join you or just take your reservation. Even though the whole point of not belonging to a regular gym and going to Hotworx is if you want your OWN workout room. Would I have minded sharing, maybe not, but not after a man keeps berating you and continues to berate through the walls of another room- why would I??

I will be letting all of my friends and family know of how this location is run and will gladly go else where. I will also make sure Corporate understands how badly this location is managed.

I use to be so excited and loved working out here. I love the privacy of working out but lately I fear for my safety. The entry door has been broken for over the last 2 or 3 weeks at least that’s when I first noticed it. Went Sunday 2/9 and I was able to walk in without putting my entry code. When I got inside there was a guy whom I’ve never seen coming out the shower who had clothes on the bench and looked as if he was just there to shower. I was too scared to stay so I left. This is not okay for members who pay their monthly membership, and other who can just walk in. Not to mention it’s not safe either being that there is hardly no staff there ever. I will be cancelling my membership

Not the experience I was hoping for my first time, I got here everything was turned off and locked up. I had set up an appointment for a first time tour/ workout. I understand it’s a 24/7 service so staffing will be during certain business hours but I came close to noon which I would assume someone would be here. I was able to get an answer from another location and they gladly took me for a later time.

nobody is there to ever answer the phone or help out with on boarding into the program. Information was given incorrectly when I tried to do the Orientation over the phone. Which I understand can allow for misinterpretation however they did not check the information that they were giving me and it was incorrect causing me to miss a whole workout... It took another location to get this all squared away for me in order for me to be able to start doing my workouts. The person I did finally speak to was very kind and nice. That’s why I’m giving this a two star and not a one star.

I started with this place when they open up. It's already been a year! I have watch myself get better and better . If you have problems with inflammation on your knees and your hands using the elliptical bike will help with that . Less time and more benefits .The owners Isla and her husband are doing their best to make our community healthier . I'm glad to be a part .

I signed up for the trial class online and got my confirmation email. I was excited because I had heard great things. You can only schedule trials for certain times of the day. I rearranged my schedule to make it work, drove 25 minutes only to find the studio locked, no one inside and no one answering the phone. I waited for 30 minutes then left. I’m extremely disappointed. This is no way to run a business.

***they have responded to my review claiming there was an emergency, but a girl messaged me the next day claiming they are understaffed and it was scheduling mishap. As she claims “we are understaffed and sometimes scheduling mishaps happen”. It seems as they cannot get their story straight. An “emergency” seems like an easy out - but other reviews seem to have the same problem as me with no one ever being there or answering the phone.

I first would like to say the entire staff, regardless of position, have been very supportive of me since I started my weight loss journey especially Nick. I started last November at 335 pounds and I am currently weighing 210 pounds. This is the perfect gym for me and what I was trying to accomplish. I am extremely busy but Hotworx allows me to get my workout accomplished without have to spend hour and hours everyday in the gym. The hotblast and thunder row are my favorite machines and the 130 degree temperature helps with detox. I have truly found a home. I encourage if any of you are in Cypress to give Hotworx a try. Best decision I ever made.

1 star us to much for this establishment. Warning, Warning, Warning! I paid for a 1 month trial membership as a christmas present in January for my wife. She attended a few sessions but It was not for her. What she did not realize is they locked her into a monthly re-occurring membership. She is very trusting and was unaware of this. In June we realized this was the case and my wife called to suspend service. They refused and said she needs to come in person. She is a teacher in the Cyfair district and has the summer off. She is at our summer home for a couple months so this request would not be possible. She called monthly, requesting them to cancel and they refused. Finally here we are in October, the operating hours with someone at the facility are at the same time my wife is teaching at the district so no one is ever at the desk after she gets off work. She stopped in multiple times just to reach an empty desk. Fast forward, yesterday she finally was able to get someone at the facility they again refused to cancel membership saying she didn’t give ample notice and would have a 99$ cancellation fee. My wife told the manager this is my husbands credit card and he is already not happy with how this went. The manager told her to lie to me and use a different card. Wow, social media get ready. This is going to get fun fast. Do not use this establishment.
