I had called in February to freeze my account. When I did it, no one informed me that it would automatically unfreeze after a month. Which resulted in me getting charged $64 for a facility that I never used. When I called to ask for a refund, they informed me that the manager would call back , which no one did. Then when I called back again after 5 days, they said I can’t get my money back. They have charged me for a month without my permission. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. You cannot get your money back once paid. Which does not make any sense.

Saunas are often broken for extended periods of time (one month currently), supplies (wipes for equipment, sauna spray, hand soap and paper towels for the bathroom) run out for days (three) at a time. The saunas, when working, cycle through different videos, which is a nice change.

I’ll start by saying this is an amazing facility, small but clean and the benefits of the workouts and 24 hour access is great. What annoyed me is I came here for a free workout ( loved) and was offered a membership 59.99 to use just this location and 79.99/ month to use any location. I asked for other options because I travel for work and was given a bundle deal which came out to 138, with 10% off a Mat, towel and straps and 39.99 a month, with the first month being free. That’s perfect upon check out it came up to almost 170.00. The young lady who helped me was kind but extremely confused so I declined and rescheduled to come back the following week ( today) to re-discuss the membership hoping someone else would be there to explain. Today the same young lady from last week is helping me with assistance from a co worker and now there’s no plan that exists for 39.99 a month. It’s either 59.99 or 79.99. This is annoying!!! And all she said is I’m sorry I gave you the wrong price. I live almost 30 minutes away from here but most importantly I actually liked this place but the confusion and misinformation did it for me. The workers need more training nobody wants to spend their money where the people who run the business is extremely confused about said business. Don’t be eager to sell me accessories but can’t explain the membership. Extremely annoyed!!!

Please be aware that not everyone has the same experience, super disappointed. Thank you Rex, for solving my issue, not charging me 3 months, nor 118.00. Previous management stole 140.00 dollars that I paid for personal training sessions, I was a fool to trust. I started out at a different HOTWORX location, I’ve been going to this one for about a month now. Scheduling workouts is so easy and it’s close to home, employees are really nice. But coming from a different location I see this one could use a little work. It doesn’t seem like they show their members how to clean the equipment or spray down things after use so it’s ready for the next member. There’s no reminders posted to do this either, maybe the location I came from was overly insane with cleanliness but I much prefer that.

I was attracted to this place due to the idea of a quick, high intensity training. I loved it! It was perfect for my lifestyle and what I needed. Fast forward a few months, I got pregnant and at 5 weeks was diagnosed with a hematoma putting me at a risk for miscarriage and was not allowed to perform any exercise, among other needs. It took me 2 months to get ahold of someone (you rarely get someone to answer the phones and if then, no call back, you can never get someone there either and you need to prompt them to respond to your emails…) that could help. I will not get into all the details of the situation, but fast forward… I am currently 5 and a half months pregnant and STILL getting charged due to their slow responding and lack of interest in providing me, as a payor, with decent customer service. I wish I had never signed up here and saved myself all of these headaches. Hope they do better in the future!

After straining my lumbar at work, I use Hotworx as my own form of physical therapy. On the days my back is tense just laying in the sauna room helps soothe and relax the muscles. I go at my own pace, I push myself as much as my body allows me that day! It's my peaceful place, my spot to destress from working with children! My teenager enjoys it so much too and she goes more often than I do. Being able to add her on to my membership and her sisters when they are home from college gives us all an opportunity to stay healthy together.

Honestly... I didn’t think I was going to like it.
I was right i didn’t like it... I LOVE IT.
Yes is Hot, but your body seems to soak it in. It’s not like being hot and sticky on the beach.
The mat exercises are slow and easily modified for any fitness level. I’m in my 50’s trying to build back my adrenals so I need to raise my heart beat, but not to a pounding rate. Soooo I can do all of that AND SWEAT 😓 to DETOX. Been going everyday since I joined. ❤️

I am so happy that Hotworx opened up a location here in Fulshear. The staff there a wonderful and very helpful! What i love about Hotworx is i can come in anytime of the day amd week and get a full body workout without having to wait on machines being used by other people.
