I've tried several HotWorx locations and let me tell you, none of them compare to the one in Manor. The staff are great, the owners are the absolute best and some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. If something breaks, it's fixed expeditiously. Craig doesn't play. It's always clean and the facility looks as great as it did from the first day, whereas I can't say that about the other locations. I truly enjoy going to Hotworx but this location is what has made me continue my membership.

Tried the free yoga class and had mixed impressions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, there are a few things worth noting.

You're required to use their yoga mat with a towel on top (personal mats aren’t allowed in the heated rooms). Unfortunately, the towel made the surface very slippery, and even basic poses like downward dog were hard to maintain. If you decide to become a member, you’ll need to purchase their specific mat and either buy or bring your own towel that fits.

The class is pre-recorded and played on a screen in the studio. I was told the videos only change every month or two, which felt limiting, especially compared to other gyms or studios that offer live or frequently updated classes.

The facility was mostly clean, but one of the heated rooms had a strong odor. It made me question how thoroughly the space is cleaned, especially considering the high temperature and sweat levels.

Overall, I think this could be a good option if you enjoy a heated environment and want to sweat a lot. Personally, I would have joined if there were more class variety, better locker/storage options (currently it's just a shelf unless you pay extra for a locker key), and more consistent deep cleaning of the studios.

Staff is so friendly and greets me with a smile!! Helps me feel motivated. The place is always clean.
Hotworx has helped me in keeping steady in a sustainable routine workout due to the heated sauna, short but effective workouts even with previous injuries to my body. I’m older so I am grateful to have found Hotworx continues to keep me motivated with the point system turning my calories into rewards!!

I’ve never really encountered any of the employees due to my work schedule.

But today the encounter I had with the closing employee and the texting conversation I had with Rosa the GM just wasn’t what HOTWORX was about.

My husband came with me to do a quick workout with me, let me make this clear when they tell you please read you agreement on your time, chances are I’m not going too.

I was never explained that I couldn’t bring a guest “after hours”, the way the employee approach the whole situation was out of line. There’s ways to communicate with people, paying people to be exact, instead of being unnecessarily rude and dismissive. A simple respectful conversation would have gone a long way,

I will be canceling my membership on the 27th when I hit my 6 month mark.

If you are okay with being treated like you’re just a number then HOTWORX is for you, now if you want to get treated like a person I suggest you go elsewhere.

So far loving it today is my second day. Honestly you should be careful with the heat. First day experience i pushed myself a bit too hard. After leaving HT fitness this has been the best experience ever !

What can I say? I LOVE HOTWORX! I love the location it is always clean and sanitized. The owners and staff are friendly and amazing! I love the 3D infrared sauna.. I have been a member for 2 months and I can see the changes with my body and stamina.

Hotworx has been a game-changer for me. I was looking for a change from the regular gym atmosphere and this was it! It’s a new and exciting workout program that not only provides a physical challenge but mental challenge as well. I absolutely love the staff and enjoy a more exclusive and private setting. And the biggest plus is that there is a point system that allows you to earn merchandise based on calories burned!

The gym is very clean and well kept. The Sauna’s are clean as well. If you sign up you get a door code assigned to access gym anytime. The staff are nice and professional in my experience. I bought the towel and mat for the HIT classes as well. They do require you to purchase their equipment for the HIT classes like the mat and towel or you can rent them. I haven’t take as many HIT classes so I think I could’ve waited on the mat and towel. However I am happy so far with my experience here.

I was shelling out close to $70 a month for a gym that felt no bigger than a McDonald's dining area. While the staff was friendly, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was a lack of fairness, especially concerning their yoga mat policy. They insisted that I either use their specific yoga mats or rent one if I wanted to access the infrared sauna. Yet, I noticed other members casually strolling in with their own mats without any issues.

Initially, I thought the place might offer some decent privacy, but after just a month, I found myself bored with their limited selection of dumbbells (only up to 50 lbs) and the absence of a power rack. Plus, I had to use a HOTWORX yoga mat ($100) to enjoy the infrared sauna, which I never ended up doing because the one time that I did I got asked to leave the sauna. I was somewhat let down by their operational practices, especially since the clerk didn't bother to inform me about important details in person when I opened my account.

Fast forward one month, and I realized I had wasted $200, covering both my membership start-up and cancellation.

The best workout spot! Staff goes above and beyond to make members feel valued and respected. They have never missed an opportunity to greet, small talk, say goodbye, etc. Their knowledge of the facility, equipment, and supplements is on point, and the establishment is extremely clean. It seems this Hotworx location lacks diversity, as it’s entirely Hispanic-owned and employs only Latinx individuals. While working out, I noticed only one other Black person. As I was leaving the sauna, she commented, “Oh, your sister is here.” This remark highlighted a narrow-minded and biased mindset, assuming all Black people must be related. As she being the actual owner, just saw another black person and then saw myself made an assumption. There was no attempt to get to know me or offer an apology or even correct the action just an awkward fake laugh. If you plan on going to a Hotworx, I recommend the ones in Pflugerville ask for Brianna or literally anyone North Lamar instead. I will more than likely removing this as my home Hotworx . Disgusting, it's 2024. If that wasn't enough the Pflugerville location has a way cooler weight arrangement and isn't as much of a pain to get too.

Oh don't let me forget that as I was walking out of the sauna at the end of my session (I had rented my equpiment.) I asked what do I do with it when I'm done. She said that she'll take it but then retracted her help shortly after projecting her biases on me, to then telling me where to put it. I'm shocked, baffled even considering that her employees are way more attentive and less bigoted than she the owner is. Yet she's the one supposed to be leading by example is crazy!

Hotworx has finally motivated me to get back into working out! I love the flexibility of scheduling 24-hour workouts, and the staff at the Manor location is welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate—without using any pushy sales tactics. The saunas and gym are always clean, making it a great environment to stay on track with my fitness goals.
