Prior to 2017, I often wondered about hot yoga then, I discovered Hotwork. I have been a member of the Birnham Woods location since it opened in 2017 and I love it!

Awesome relaxation experience and stress release and I love the ease of scheduling classes and the variety of classes offered.

Unlike other gyms, if you miss your favorite class, you possibly have to wait a few days for another class whereas Hotwork offer virtual classes every 15-30 minutes, 24/7, 7 days a week ❤️

I love the option to schedule workouts in advance, and there are always plenty of options available. The privacy of the sauna allows me to focus solely on my workout and state of mind, which I find very centering. The facilities are always super clean, and everything you need is accessible.

Do not recommend at all. They will not be honest about the cancellation process when signing up. We were told we were signing a 90-day contract and then could cancel whenever. Turns out you have to pay $100 or wait 2 more months. If they were upfront from the beginning it would be different. Go elsewhere that is honest.

Bikes and rowers are crammed in. Not much variety in work outs. Cancellation policy presents an undue hardship on the member to get it cancelled and it costs you to cancel. Terrible business practice.
UPDATE: You won’t find me as a member because I don’t want to be harassed so while I am real and really a former customer, my last name reflects a previous name. I had such a hard time cancelling, I’m not calling just to be dismissed. People should heed these and the Yelp cancellation policy warnings.

Tori - The front desk lady & Tanny the general Manager are slick con-artist. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!! If you want to go to HOTWORX go to The Woodlands, Record, and have everything in writing they lie! I have them on recording and I’m not in the process with filing a lawsuit with my attorney with this location. Tanny don’t even worry about responding because I have everything I need. No point in defending yourself because I have Tori on recording from 90 days from today stating 2 weeks after signing up we can cancel with no charge but we needed to call back in December. We did and now she’s acting like she doesn’t know what we are talking about. This location lies and isn’t transparent with customers about anything, they want to sign you up to take you money. The locations are individually owned like a franchise. They did this right before Christmas, keep in mind we’ve been paying the entire time even though we stated 2 weeks after signing up we had a huge issue and needed to cancel. We did everything as stated and TODAY was the last straw! See you in court.

I’ve been to a lot of gyms and tried a lot of different work outs but HOTWORX is by far my favorite. I like that they offer over 10 different class types so we don’t get bored, the offer flexible scheduling as their is always a session available and we don’t get penalized for late canceling. The work outs are in an infrared sauna and it helps detox while strengthening my body and mind. I think the best part of this workout is the feeling of accomplishment once you end that landing phase and open the sauna and the cold air hits your face. The Birnham Wood location is always clean, and the owner and team keeps a fun family feel vibe which is a huge plus!

I spent years trying to find a place where I felt really comfortable working out and this is it. I have lost 75lbs in the last year by mixing up ISO and HIIT training. I seriously cannot say enough great things about this location! For starters, you are always greeted when you walk in and always feel welcomed. The facility is always so clean, and everyone here is just so friendly! When I first joined, I was given a detailed tour and explanation of each of the workouts, which made me feel so welcomed in. The sauna workouts are amazing!!! There is so much privacy, go at your own pace workouts, and the motivation you feel during and after your workouts are great! I joined about 2 weeks ago, and have gone every single day. There is just something about this location that is seriously so motivating! It is so easy to get involved here with the amount of challenges and events they do, it makes it so much more enjoyable!! I will never stop coming here, the results and consistency I have seen in just 2 weeks amazes me! I look forward to coming here and doing my workouts every single day. I highly recommend coming here and trying out a class, you won't regret it!!!!

The girls here at HOTWORX Birnham Woods are absolutely amazing!! Every time I am greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. They make you feel like family. The facility is always spotless clean. I love this location versus other locations because the staff is so friendly. The gym is so nice and clean and is never too busy, so I feel comfortable to get a good workout in and out of the sauna. Tori especially has really made me love Hot worx and is probably going to be the reason why I won’t go to any other yoga studio. I am so in love with this place. I don’t know why it took me so long to come. The staff was so welcoming and I was sold after my trial workout. It helps me stay consistent and is so convenient. Literally 2 minutes away from home. I no longer have an excuse. They send encouraging messages at the start of your membership and that helps welcome you in more. My favorite is Hot Cycle. As a retired spin/cycling instructor I appreciate the burn in such a short time. Definitely come check them out 😊

I am so frustrated with this place. I have been calling every week for the past six weeks trying to set up an appointment to cancel my membership. Only one person can cancel it, and that person does not call me back to set up an appointment. The reason I am canceling 1. My code for the door was not working so I could not get in, it was reset but it didn’t work. I was offered to change it, but by then I was so frustrated trying to get in multiple times. 2. People who sign for classes should have priority, multiple times I showed up with people who did not sign using using the room I signed for (I know it is for three people, but when they have the light on, the door cracked open and talking from one corner to another or take over the entire place laying down across the room ignoring the fact that you too can use the room, I’m sorry that does not work for me). I talked to the person who was there and she just asked me to use one that was not taken, which I did. Two minutes later a couple who had reservation for that room showed up and started taking pictures (probably to show that was her room, which made it uncomfortable). I grabbed my stuff and left. This was not once, it happened multiple times. It used to be an amazing place to work out, not it is a mess. I NEED TO CANCEL maybe someone will actually return my calls. I’ve been paying for the past three months and I cannot even use the facility.

I have had a great experience with hotworx and this location, until I needed to cancel my membership due to being pregnant. The facility is clean, the employees are friendly and willing to help with anything needed! However, I have been trying to get ahold of a manager for weeks now with no correspondence back. The manager is the only person who can cancel memberships, according the the other employees so I am reverting to a review in hopes this will make my cancelation important enough for a response. I was told “the manager is busy and has other people she has to call. She will get to you once she has time” that was on 5.18.2023 after calling several times prior to that. Disappointed at the lack of customer service through the end.

**Edit to add that this issue has been resolved. The phone number on my account was 1 digit off— frustrating, but with this information it does make more sense as to why I was getting no correspondence. Hotworx has canceled my membership and has gone above and beyond to remedy this issue. Thank you, thank you!**

I LOVE Birnham Woods Hotworkx, the owners are nice folks, Channing, Brieanna, Tiana and the other young ladies are friendly, helpful and courteous. Super Clean Facility....what REALLY did it for me though is the HOT SAUNAS for ALL of the 10 cross for routines they offer. You can Row for 10, iso for 40, Fx for 20 and the INFARED Heat keeps my back.from hurting so I can really take better care of my body so it can take care of me. I think EVERYONE should try it out...FULL work out in half the time...and sweating out all those TOXINS is nothing but good for you. I started out slooow, because of a knee Injury and it has worked out great!! You won't be sorry!! I know I'm not!!

I cancelled my membership and have been continued to be charged for the last three months- this go around Channing the manager rushed me off the phone as soon as she knew it was me and told me she saw I had been charged and ensured it had already been taken care of and the pending charge would fall off. Well it’s been a week and the charge has posted to my account. This entire situation has been an absolute dumpster fire representation of customer service.

I love this place! I have never been one to be enthusiastic to go to the gym or work out but this place is addictive. The hot sauna workouts are very relaxing, clear my head, reduce my anxiety and helps with my stress. The place is always kept very clean and tidy. With Covid, it is nice to get in workouts by yourself or one of your closest friends in your own sauna room with a virtual instructor. You are not around a lot of people. Everyone wipes surfaces after their workout. I enjoy working out in the smaller setting and not in front of a big group. My favorite workout is the Yoga.

I joined hotworx when they opened this location in November. I can’t say enough about how great it is. My clothes are fitting better, I have more energy, my resting heart rate has reduced. It was at 80 bpm now it’s 73 bpm. My blood pressure has went down 130/90 to 121/82. And I’m sleeping better. The staff Channing, Brie, and Ryan have made me feel like I’m part of their family, and Paul too when he’s there. Oh and the Clean Energy supplement is so good. It really energized my workouts without causing the shaky feeling you get with other energy drinks and I don’t end up having that crash you get with the other drinks. I highly recommend hotworx to everyone
