The reformers are bigger style, the springs are stronger because the instructors uses more on heavier side.
The workouts are medium pace - they tend to use the same methods repeatedly overall using the proper methods correctly is getting a good workout. The bare classes are a good challenge
Definitely worth your workout time. Each instructor brings a variety of challenges - instilling proper technique. It is not all classical Pilates - has the Imx twist added.

Love Pilates!!! I'm 81 1/2 and Pilates has done so much to help me keep moving. I love to travel and Pilates has allowed me to enjoy Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland this year as well as the Caribbean. Love everything about this place! The variety of classes is suitable for all, no matter where you are in your journey. I’ve been going to im=X Pilates for a little over 2 years, and Michelle and her team of instructors have always been great at making me sweat! Each class is tailored to its specific difficulty level (beginner, intermediate, all-level), and with the option to add light dumbbells or extra resistance to the reformer, you can tailor your workout to your ability or need.

I highly recommend reformer pilates for reshaping and tightening the body overall. It’s a fantastic workout, and I’m always left feeling rejuvenated and energized afterward. I like to do 3-4 classes/week with 1-2 weight lifting sessions at the gym. The health benefits, especially for those who need less pressure on weight bearing joints, are significant and I’ve seen first-hand the changes this workout creates in mine and others’ bodies.

I’ve been doing Pilates for about a month now and I love it. It has helped motivate me to stay active outside of Pilates and maintain a healthy diet. It was hard for me to work out at the gym because I didn’t have proper guidance but all the instructors here know what they are doing and are oh so helpful during class. Hey y’all! Just want to share my experience as to what a game changer Pilates has been. I’m a retired LEO with numerous injuries including spinal fusion’s and both shoulders repaired. Pilates allows me to control my level of resistance and with the guidance of the fabulous trainers, I haves moved up after two months and feel incredible. I am sleeping better and longer hours with less pain and less pain medication. I have lost very little weight but I dropped two pants sizes and two holes on my belts. Oh forgot to mention that I will be 65 very soon. I now doing Pilates 5 times a week with one day Yoga and Pilates. Yes I am now doing Yoga almost daily at home but one day here! Still walking daily but only two miles. Some resent photo’s.

Love IM=X Pilates Mansfield! They are on top of everything! Sometimes a workout facility's emphasis is solely on the physical training and the customer service side of the organization suffers. Not so at IMX!! The instructors are kind, engaging, willing to help and there to make sure you have an excellent experience (shout-out to Stephanie, Dalia and Shannon!) every time! I have been doing Pilates for almost 9 years. I wish I had read the Reddit reviews before signing up. This is not true teachings of Joseph Pilates but their version of their franchise IM=X Pilates. In the description, it doesn't say jumpboard, but you might have it. The owner said I couldn't go to intermediate classes( because I can't do jumpboard). A few of the classes were true classical Pilates most others are not. It's their franchise version. The reformers are wiped down, and other equipment-balls,weights, jumpboard, box, and handles are not cleaned. The owner leads the classes like a drill Sargent and the booming bass from next-door kick boxing is annoying . Only once did I feel like I got a true Pilates workout. There are some nice people that go and try helping you to follow the franchise exercises, not classical Pilates if you are used to that. These classes are based on the quantity of people ,not the quality of form. This is why most people pay for classes, not a gym membership. It is disappointing if you know trained Pilates instructions. If you don't, then have at it.

I really like IMX Pilates. Scheduling is super simple, and they communicate via text if needed which is convenient. I’ve been a few times now and the classes are challenging and effective. I really appreciate Stephanie for going out of her way to make sure she gives form corrections, shout outs using your name during the session, and even introducing you to your class by saying each person’s name before the class starts. I hate reading long reviews much less leaving one, but this requires a long explanation….I’m 48 years old dealing with a 15 year old back and hip injury. I’ve been active my entire life, even after my injury. But something changed when I hit my 40’s. My body didn’t seem to want to corporate with me. I started to deal with more joint pain, more back and hip pain which made it very difficult to do my normal CrossFit/Kickboxing/Running. My chiropractor said it was time to let go of the hardcore training and start doing something with way less impact on my body. So I started to do to do calmer workouts. Well my body didn’t like that at all! That was about the time I started to deal with hormone issues so I became less active, weight started to pack on and my body started to hurt even worse. I decided I knew better and went back to CrossFit. Not good!! I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced lifting weights over your head and your hip go out but it’s pretty dang painful!! And just an added note: I literally could only do 3-5 burpees in a row. Needless to say I had to stop which was very depressing. After that I was having to see my new chiropractor once a week. Believe me when I say this, I have tried EVERYTHING! Every diet to shed weight, every kind of physical therapy/self care to eliminate pain and inflammation and almost every kind of exercise to help with it ALL. Finally my new chiropractor said my hip flexers and core was very week which made my body compensate in ways it shouldn’t, causing lots of inflammation and tense muscles not allowing by body to hold my adjustments very long. She recommended I do something to strengthen my core and hip flexers. A good friend of mine recommended Pilates Reformer so I tried it out. I really thought it would be awhile before I was able to see the benefits but after just 8 classes, along with eating a balanced diet, my strength and my body has changed so much! Pilates has strengthened my core and hip flexers so much that I was able to wait 9 days before I had to go back to chiropractor for adjustment. That’s 4 days longer than before! That might not seem like a big deal to those who don’t have to go to chiropractor but my pocket book is liking the break $$$$. As far as the scale, it has only moved a few lbs but I try not to focus a lot on that considering muscle weighs more than fat. And I’ve lost several inches all over my body. This is the part I’ve been so shocked about. My strength!! I was able to do 10 burpees in a row X’s 4 sets, which blew my mind! Blew my husbands mind as he sat there and watched! And this past Monday I was able to do 15 burpees in a row. I’m so shocked and so blown away by my progress in just a short period of time. I have a ways to go but for the first time in a long time reaching my goal seems doable. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IM=Pilates in Mansfield! The Instructors are very welcoming and attentive to making sure you have correct form, lots of classes and time slots to choose from and the facility and machines are very clean and organized! Pilates is my new best friend :) Love this place!

I love it at IM=X Pilates in Mansfield! I’ve always struggled to find a fitness routine that I enjoy. The gym is not my jam, but once I found this studio it changed everything for me! I’ve never seen or felt results in my body faster than with these workouts. I enjoy both the reformer and tower/barre classes! The instructors are so great and I’m so glad I decided to try Pilates. I actually look forward to my workouts now!

Newbie here. (: I went for the first time yesterday and I was nervous about going but I can confidently say I felt comfortable and at home as soon as walked in and throughout the class! I absolutely loved my experience here. KaCee was our amazing instructor and she helped and encouraged everyone and was so kind. If you’re thinking about making the investment in Pilates, it is worth it! It is high intensity but low impact. I feel stretched more than sore which is probably the best feeling after a workout. I have been talking to my mom non-stop about it since yesterday and am purchasing her classes too. Thank you to my new Pilates home!

The classes are always a good work out and I always leave feeling energetic and accomplished. All 3 instructors are wonderful and keep the workouts fresh and fun so you don’t get bored. It is a super clean new place, with all sorts of possibilities to grow! It was my introduction to Pilates and I loved it.
