I have never met a trainer before Hudson that had strategies to help me with my ankle and foot problems.

If I ever had my own gym, I’d want to have all the things and the kind of trainers here. It’s hard to find the kind of quality of attention, enthusiasm, and knowledge Hudson shares with everyone. It really is an awesome gym.

I love this Place! I’ve done quite a few of Hudson’s classes and they are awesome. He does a great job of explaining the workouts and making them fun and never boring. It definitely can be tough and challenging however worth it! If you get the opportunity to work with him definitely do it! You won’t regret it!

I came to Intentional Patterns with some experince in weightlifting and general athletic knowledge, but terrible flexibility. Over the last 6 months my flexibility has improved to a dramatic degree. I credit this to Intentional Patterns. Let me tell you - whatever your problem is, the coaches will be able to help you. This isnt a gym where you might feel embarassed if you dont know workout either. Im terribly uncoordinated, and the coaches helped me with that too! Hudson is the primary coach I worked with, but any and all of the coaches are helpful; if you have questions, whether it be about the workout, health advice, or some other topic under the sun, ask away. Highly recommend you check them out, whether for strength and conditioning, general athletic workouts or athlete-tailored lifts.

This place is hands down the best place in town for strength & conditioning, weight loss, and athletic performance. All fitness levels are welcome and there is a class for everyone here! I have been training with Coach Hudson since Aug. 2022 and I have seen tremendous strength gains and a lot of lingering injuries have resolved. His training gets you real results without beating you up. The community here is great, and the price is affordable. They do a free first session so definitely stop in for a class!

This is my favorite place to workout in San Antonio. When I train with Hudson he goes above and beyond to customize the exercises and give me exactly what I need. At Intentional Patterns, I always get that extra push of motivation that I don’t get going to commercial gyms, and my routine is curated specific to my needs. Every class is fun, yet challenging, and I don’t get bored because it’s different each time. As an ex athlete, I felt pretty comfortable in the gym on my own, but working out at Intentional Patterns has propelled my results in ways I wasn’t able to. I definitely recommend IP to anyone on a fitness journey whether new or experienced!

Intentional Patterns and it’s staff has changed my life/ the quality of it and my capabilities within it!

I came to IP for some 1 on 1 training after having been frustrated with a lack of traction in results even as someone who’s worked out for 20 years. Hudson customized my workouts to increase my performance, movement, and capacity. Their holistic approach, focus on mobility, quality of movement, and helping fix pain from poor movement patterns is like no other.

I've also attended group classes from kettlebell, animal flow, mace, & functional strength. The programming is awesome with these unconventional tools and you're bound to see improvement in your physical & mental health! Not to mention the community of everyday folks encouraging & pushing each other and the many athletes you’ll find yourself side by side with.

Great workout environment, loved training with Lycia and Matt. Non traditional gym environment, got a great mix of mobility and strength training while also getting my heart rate up and strengthening my core. After dealing with 8 herniated discs and excruciating pain for years, I was assessed by a Dr and I discovered my core muscles were super weak. Not wanting anymore steroid injections, I decided to try Intentional Patterns to get my body stronger to be able to deal with hectic life, my then 3 year old, and all the driving I do for work.
I did the personal training sessions with Matt for 15 months and boy did I get strong! Matt really gave my sessions that personal touch that focused on what my body needed. He helped me discover the actual strength I possess and what I'm capable of doing. Group sessions are also lots of fun, as you become family here and everyone works together for our well being.

I’ve been to a personal training session with friends here and a Hudson was great. Workout was designed and planned before and came with modifications if needed. He keeps track of your lifted weight and progress for each exercise as well. Super friendly as well. Highly recommend.

I was a pretty high level acrobat for most of my life until a series of bad injuries destroyed my career. I got depressed, gained weight, withdrew from public life, and quickly found myself in the worst shape of my life.
*Fast forward 8 years.*
I started at Intentional Patterns in January of 2022 and I’m already seeing a huge difference in my stamina, balance, and coordination. But, I think the biggest difference is my confidence.
I actually feel like interacting with people again!
The workouts are unmatched. The trainers are also unmatched. Nobody teaches functional fitness the way these amazing trainers do. The trainers at Intentional Patterns are AMAZING!!! I have been a member over a year and they have helped me meet my fitness goals, and make healthy changes in my life. They are truly committed to helping you succeed no matter the struggle. Prior to joining Intentional Patterns, I was always in the yo-yo effect. I would lose weight and gain it right back. The trainers took the time to sit down with me and helped me identify the true root of my issue. They provided resources and assisted in meal planning. They truly care about your well being and success. I can’t THANK them enough. They have helped me lose 30+lbs safely and keep the weight off. I have been so inspired by them and their ONNIT principals, that I also took the leap and obtained my ONNIT Foundations Certification which would not have been possible without their inspiration and motivation. I’ve always hated going to the gym because I never knew what to do and I felt awkward. Ever since I started with intentional patterns I have loved working out. The workouts and trainers are amazing. They make sure you are using proper form so that you don’t hurt your body. They also teach you functional movement that you use in your everyday life that I had no idea I needed work on. The community is also amazing they always cheer you on and you never feel awkward. I have never felt so comfortable working out with a group of people. If you need a workout routine where you feel great by the end Intentional Patterns is the way to go!
