(Halloween haunted house event specific) Came for the Halloween haunted house. Their payment system was down. Would have ended up having to pay 45 dollars for 30 mins of play after waiting on their system for 40 mins. Left with a crying child.

My son Rhys has been going to Iron Cross since he was 4 starting with Parents night out *which is a major blessing*. Every summer since he has been there and enjoys it. They staff is always wonderful and answers all my questions. I have absolutely no complaints with them.

As a parent finding Summer Care for your child is very important along with them liking the place and what they have to offer. I have all my concerns met here. they take excellent care of my son and makes sure he has a very fulfilled and fun day. He gets in the car at the end of the day and says he's not tired, but falls asleep a few mins later.

Its great the coaches are nice and they have a lot of other things other than gymnastics like summer camp , instruments and dance . Its two stories and they also have snacks and drinks for parents , the gym and ballet room is huge and the play room for summer camp kids is huge aswell its also a great environment where improvement is encouraged and they show its okay to mess up i love Iron Cross, also if its your first time there search on the white board for your name they should write your name on it that’s pretty cute!!!😁 And the place looks sketchy from the outside i was kind of doubting Iron Cross to be a nice area but it is! All though, the hand sanitizer despenses are kinda nasty , atleast the restroom is clean🤷‍♀️

We are new to the Richmond area and needed a new place for our daughter to take gymnastics. Iron cross was our first and last stop for that! All of the teachers are so nice and they offer so much more than just gymnastic classes. They also have great spring break and summer programs. I recommend iron cross to all of my friends.

I just want to share how thankful we are for Iron Cross Gymnastics and Dance, especially during 2020 - which has been such a difficult year. We are so appreciative of everything y’all have done to give the kids a safe place to be active, have some socialization, and of course, have fun! In June, my 7-year-old returned to team practices, and it was the first place he had been besides home since March. We felt comfortable and secure sending him back after seeing how much care and attention was put into the re-opening plan. My 2-year-old enjoyed the zoom recreational classes over the summer and was thrilled to be back in the gym in August. Iron Cross has been a constant for them during an extremely chaotic time and we just want to say THANK YOU! To every coach or staff member who has stood out in the summer heat and taken temperatures or walked my son out in the dark after practice to ensure he is safe in the parking lot – THANK YOU! This has been a year of change and difference, and for my boys to walk in to Iron Cross and see the familiar smiling faces of the coaches and staff they’ve known for years, who all know them by name, has been such a blessing!

My 12 year old has been going to Iron Cross for almost 2 years. We absolutely love the coaching and encouragement that she receives with every lesson.
We recently started piano lessons with their music program. Coach Jeremy is an amazing teacher and makes the lessons really fun! We love being able to one stop shop for gymnastics and piano!
Also, Iron Cross is such a fantastic business. They truly care about your child and want to encourage them to be their personal best. They model outstanding character and values as well as coaching.

My daughter attended iron cross years ago and was coached by Leroy and Nick. Both made a lasting impact on her. Although she has gone on to other sports she fondly remembers her time and development at Iron Cross. Now my 2 year old Is ready to start her first sport and we have searched and tried many places and found our home at Iron cross. Although it is 3x the distance from other gyms Gloria and Tracy made a lasting impression on our family with the way they treated us and it won’t be forgotten. They were kind, and worked with my daughter to make sure she was able to participate, fit in, and have fun which is highly difficult with a “spirited” two year old. We look forward to watching her develop with this outstanding staff! My three-year-old daughter attends classes at Iron Cross Gym (ICG), and we also recently held her birthday party there. First, I'll start by reviewing her class. The staff members at ICG at professional, knowledgeable and so kind. I can say with certainty that I have never ran across a staff member that didn't go above and beyond to help with any questions or needs we may have. And, I have to give special recognition to Coach Gloria (my daughter's coach).....she's amazing! I can't say enough about how patient and attentive she is with the kiddos. It really takes a apical kind of person to work with the little ones and I can't think of anyone better. Not only does my daughter learn technique, but while in class she is also practicing following directions and manners.

Now the birthday party. Honestly, I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect what we got from the staff. They took care of everything!! The party had about 25 kids, ages 2-5, and the staff somehow got them all in "order," and what I thought would be chaos was a well organized energetic class. The party hosts (ICG staff members) chatted with parents who had questions, encouraged kids to try some of the "exercises" if they were timid, served the food and cake, and even helped us load our car. I was so impressed!! We will definitely have another party at the facility.

Both my kids are enrolled, they both love it. The staff are very helpful and friendly, except they never pick up the phone and you never know when they are going to call back. The area is clean and organized, the gym is set up differently every week. It's a bit pricey but they do learn proper techniques.

Udate: My daughter has been on the competitive team since the gym started, so about 9 years. Through the many years the gym owners have been supportive and encouraging of the teams progress, and each individual child's progress. Their coaches John, Stephenie and Jeremy have a learning mindset, they are constantly learning and adjusting to fit the needs and mental challenges of each gymnast, and the needs of the teams as a whole. They are fully invested and committed in getting each gymnast on the team to their best. They have laughed, cried, and pushed their gymnasts to discover something great about themselves. My daughter wanted to try other gyms, and we went in search another gym, but within a month returned back to the sense of family and committed coaches and owners at Iron Cross.

Offers tumbling, recreational and a small competitive gymnastics program. Experienced gym owners who treat all kids with love and affection. Great new gym with huge spacious facilities, Front desk staff and coaches are always willing to work through issues with parents and children. Incredible tumbling camps and parents night out.

Posting an update: My daughter is on the competitive team, and we still have great experiences at Iron Cross. The coach team is very cohesive and management are problem solving. They interact with the parents very well, and immediately as soon as there are issues. This gym is very focused on your child's happiness and well being, as well as creating a love for gymnastics first! (That is what keeps them in this sport). A plethora of summer camps, tumbling clinics, Saturday clinics, and recreation classes are offered.

I currently have 3 children who are part of the Iron Cross competitive gymnastics team, Alexia - Level 10, Trip - Level 6, and Tessa - Level 4. My oldest daughter started gymnastics at Iron Cross over 7 years ago and joined the competitive team right away. Her younger brother and sister have since followed in her foot steps as Iron Cross has continued to be a home away from home for all of them. All of the team coaches are not only fantastic coaches, but also great role models for my children. As we have been a part of the Iron Cross family the girls and boys teams have become a force to be reckoned with, winning almost every team award at meets. We have been at Iron Cross for 8 years now. Our daughter is on the optional team in the competitive program. We can't even put into words what gymnastics and Iron Cross has done for her. She has learned so much about the sport and how to compete at a very high level. But more importantly she feels like that is her home away from home and that is her family!
