My daughter has been going to J&R for a year, attending the two-tus class, she used to not be comfortable since it was her first time in any extracurricular activity but a few months in she started to love it, now it’s her favorite thing to do! The instructor Allison is amazing and makes sure every kid is included, I’d recommend J&R 1000x!

Coach Jade is ahhhhhhhh-maaaay-zing! My daughter, N, is 7 years old and is very particular about people in general, but once she moved into Coach Jade's class she never looked back!

What my daughter appreciates about Coach Jade's class, is that she is firm, but still makes the class fun and engaging (and, she isn't a screamer, lol). Coach Jade gives clear direction and demonstrates by example so the kids have an understanding of her expectations. Coach Jade is very kimd and thoughtful! Y'all, over the summer, Coach Jade took a break and post- departure, she wrote a note to N giving her words of encouragement!

And, as Ms. Jade temporarily left (for the summer), her "fill-in", Coach Daisy was just as awesome. N continued with Coach Daisy, until Coach Jade returned, and she was the perfect summer fill-in because the two coaches share the same demeanor and coaching styles. Coach Daisy left to pursue her career and Coach Jade is back! We are super pleased that N has found a coach that she looks up to!

Not just gymnastics & dance!

J&R has created a bridge between gymnastics and functional life skills. The 5yo and below programs fuse hand-eye coordination and neurologically focused exercises with the FUN and CREATIVITY of gymnastics.

I’ve been very impressed with how the exercises our 4yo has learned have overflowed into her movement and creativity outside of class. The coaches are attentive, kind, and offer great feedback to help children hit milestones.

We have loved the community we have gained from meeting other families and always look forward to our weekly classes.

Playnastics is also one of our favorite activities here in town!

We started my daughter's gymnastic journey at J&R as a toddler before moving to a gym closer to home. 4 years later, we are back to be a part of their competitive team and be able to train with Coach Shelby has made my daughter get her gymnastics sparkle back!. I have been nothing but impressed with the coaches and staff at this gym. Coach Petie and Coach Shelby are tough but also so positive and loving to the gymnasts. We just re-enrolled and are super excited to be back! Unfortunately we had to take a break from gymnastics with coach Carolyn and ballet/ tap combo with coach Kylee as we were having medical emergencies and I was in my third trimester. I remember calling to cancel further classes while in the emergency room with my husband as he was suffering from seizures… I was so glad I called at that very time because Leora was the one who answered and helped me through that difficult moment! Leora is an absolute godsend and must have heard my distress over the phone because she asked if she could pray with me at that very moment. I have never been so moved but as we prayed together over the phone I quickly remembered that God was in control. Leora is an angel!!! Now that we are ready to get back to extra activities J&R was the obvious choice with employees like her! Both coaches were also very amazing and patient with our kiddos! I recommended J&R to my family and friends and they are still enrolled till this day!

I’ve been bringing my toddler here for a little over a month to take gymnastics classes, and I really wish I had better things to say. The entire facility smells like dirty feet for one, and the staff is lacking. The young girl teaching our sons class cannot manage the kids, and was incredibly rude to my 4 year old son. I don’t expect much of a class for toddlers, but the coach could at least have a better attitude working with little kids. She hardly smiled, and acted like a bored teen who didn’t want to be there. He left class crying, because at the end when he tried to ask her a question she repeatedly said “bye, bye, BYE” interrupting him trying to speak, and wrongfully blaming him during class because she wasn’t paying attention. Another child was pushing my son, and when she looked over she blamed my child and threatened to put him on time-out. I really wish I could say better things about this place, I will not be bringing him back again.

My daughters first day of class I had arrived early just in case they wanted to go over anything, like additional paperwork, introduction to the coach etc. - and was greeted at the desk by a person saying "Do you need something because I was going to sit here and talk to her" referring to another parent that walked in after myself. As you can imagine that was an awful first impression. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and proceeded with my daughter attending class. The coach that was assigned did not care about the progress of my daughter nor did he try to teach her anything. I, then proceeded to try and change coaches only to arrive the next week on a different day just for them to tell me that they did not have space for her that day.

The manager tried to fix the issue by giving me a free class. I appreciate her trying to fix the situation but I ended up taking her out of this gym completely for lack of customer service, the ability to communicate and not to mention the lack of structure of each class.

The facility is ok but the there’s a lot of caddy behavior from coaches maybe because everyone seems to look young and still in high school or something close but me as a mother that’s only there for my child to learn it’s a lot to have to deal with caty behavior. And to have to make sure your child is being treat fairly. Should be an automatic to treat kids nice but I have experienced immaturity’s that shouldn’t be involving little kids. Everyone should feel comfortable welcome and treated fairly always specially when your teaching the youth

My daughter has been enrolled in the Babynastics class for almost a year now and it is fantastic! The coaches are so patient and helpful. They really take the time to ensure that my daughter is comfortable, confident and learning at her own pace. The facility is clean and well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive experience. Toddlers were left to simply play with no real teaching. You must pay the full months fee and the annual fee just to try things out and if you miss the second class for any reason they keep the annual fee. My other granddaughter attends an alternate gym that is worlds different . Look around before you settle here.

Great overall Facility but as far as Coaches and consistency it lacks heavily. My daughters class consistently has a new teacher practically every week. She also was not challenged enough. Open Gym on Fridays we stopped going as the the Coaches/Teachers failed to report injuries to us. I feel this facility is a good intro to gymnastics but if you really want something of substance, progression and a challenge, we chose to leave and go to Extreme Gymnastics up the road! Our daughter is in advanced classes to start and already in competition at just 7yrs old. It was pulling teeth just to progress here. Felt my daughter was just stagnant over time.

That coach is gone and the last few coaches in the last few months just stand around and are not very interactive with the kids…. We’ve been here for right at a year. Everything was great until they brought in new coaches. I spoke with management about a new coach that isn’t providing instruction as a coach should be. They said that they have heard of some issues with this new coach, but there are no other classes for us to transfer to. The only option provided was to leave J & R, but they said that their 4 week notice policy would still stand (so we’d have to pay for 4 weeks more). So even though they know they have a problem employee, they’re going to let their students suffer because they won’t manage their employees.

J and r gymnastics management and staff are very aggressive, few staff are don’t even watch kids. If parents raise concern simply they terminate services and they blame kids are aggressive, Which is a false statement.
I monitored my kids all the time in class as they are just 3. simply giving false statement to terminate services .
Few staff are really good that is what am giving 1 star.
Because of staff attitude and false statements about my kids made me to write this review with a heavy heart. They dint even had any discussion and simply stated that words.

This is our first experience with gymnastics 🤸‍♀️, it has been amazing. This summer they were offering a deal to sign up for one class and you are able to go to as many classes (in your age group) that you want. With this being our first time we weren’t aware with what class we wanted or which instructor....I have found that all the instructors are amazing with the kids. So far we have tried dance, gymnastics and dance.

We are new to the area and signed our daughter up at this gym based on a friends recommendation. Unfortunately, we withdrew her 3 classes in. Our daughter has been competing on the competitive level and after talking with the staff decided to try her in a level 2-3...(keeping into consideration that every state/gym is different). She was way more advanced than the other girls in her class and after communicating with her coach and other “experienced” staff members about moving her up a level and possibly trying out for their Competitive Team, I was told that she was a “low” level 3 and there was no room for her on their “Team.” We immediately withdrew her from J&R to try another gym. Thank goodness we did! Our new gym actually saw my daughters talent and worked with her based on her “actual” level! If you are wanting your child to advance with their current gymnastic ability, I would totally consider another gym.

Just moved to Texas, interested in this gym amd my girls have been in gymnastics awhile, I asked if they do a free trial class, I want to check out instructors and make sure they r in the right level class b4 signing up but they said they don't offer it. So....looking for another gym...still...I don't think that's right having to pay for registration for 2 kids and sign up for classes then have to put in a 30 day notice if the coaches and kids don't click or its not what u like. Its hard to pick a gym, afterall im not using it as a daycare. So unless that changes, this is getting rated a 1 star for poor customer service.

I personally think this place is great. I'm working on getting my daughter signed up. Only thing I might suggest is better monitoring system of the front doors on Friday fun night. I'm a very protective mother (sometimes too much but oh well) I left my kids there (8 and 6) for literally 15 minutes to go get dinner at chicken express and as I was unloading the baby and getting my food ready to go in and head upstairs my son came walking up behind me in the parking lot. This means no one was watching the doors. I'm not trying to raise a stink but I've heard other parents raise concerns about leaving their 5 year old etc to the staff and they always say "we watch the doors". I have been their twice. The first night yes someone was always at the desk watching the door that was a 7 to 9 fun night but tonight's was a 7 to 11 fun night, there was a good 50 maybe 100 kids there tonight and not once did I see someone watching the door. That just threw the idea of ever leaving my kids there without me or the window.

Great people! Great gym! We were visiting from out of town and our girls worked out with the level 7 team. It was an awesome experience! The coaching was top notch and the facility is very nice!
