The best place to learn taekwondo in Pearland! I had the best experience here and the instructors are all very kind, patient, and understanding. They teach a variety of skills from physical fitness, self-defense, respect, self esteem, and discipline. The instructors themselves exude a strong determination and a positive mindset that they promote and implement to their students and teaching.

I was looking for a Martial Arts class for my son around Pearland area, visited a few ones around the area, but I decided for Jungdo Taekwondo Academy with Master Nguyen. I like that their students ages ranges from 5 years old to adults, myy son is learning a new sport, gets to learn how to defend himself physically, makes new friends, learns discipline and hardwork to accomplish goals. The prices are reasonable for the area too, and honestly I also like the positive, family oriented and organize environment. Definitely is worth the educational investment for your kids or even personal.

My son is coming to this school for about 4 months now and he really enjoy his classes, and he loves the family & friendly environment. At the same time he is learning to be more confident of himself, discipline and active. Master Nguyen and his instructor team are very professional, nice and patient with all his students. Prices are very fair and to start you up you can a week trial, to see if your child likes it first before commuting, the. You get q free uniform when you sign up the first time, so not bad deal, specially for young new students.

Master Nguyen is very nice, understanding of life situations, and always happy to see his students! We have loved having our 5yo in taekwondo. We would be staying if we weren’t moving out of state. Master Nguyen teaches techniques very quick and effectively. Very family friendly, I always brought my 3yo and 5 month old with us to lessons. We have loved jungdo taekwondo!

I am so glad I joined this place. It is family oriented and the owners are super nice and energetic and welcoming. It feels like a close community and a place for my 6 year old to release energy and my 13 year old a feeling of belonging and bonding as a family. It teaches them discipline and community. This is why I wouldn’t leave this place!

I have only good things to say about this place. Both of my boys have gone through this academy. My oldest gained confidence and an ability to be more assertive. My youngest has special needs and has just started again. The community is very welcoming and inclusive of all kinds of people. I feel like my son has a place he can be himself.

In quarantine, I became incredibly isolated and antisocial and spent a lot of time by myself. I found a passion in Taekwondo during that time and when I saw that Jung Do was open, I didn’t hesitate to join. I was skinny, weak, stiff, and lost but Master Nguyen and the friends I made helped me to become the athlete and person that I am now. Now I am one belt away from black belt and I have won every tournament I’ve gone to. I have gained confidence, athletic ability, good morals and principles from Master Nguyen and his teachings. I have not only learned to be the best athlete and martial artist that I can be, but I’ve learned how to be the best person I can be. If you’re considering putting your kid in martial arts, this is the place. All techniques and training come from the root of Taekwondo in Korea so we can make your child not only an incredible athlete and extremely skilled martial artist, but a good hearted human as well.

My nephew goes here for after school activities! Master Nguyen is very professional and knowledgeable. The school is clean, I saw multiple HEPA air filtration machines around the school. My nephew loves going here! He has become very disciplined and respectful after attending this program, he also able to follow instructions better. Master Nguyen is very inspirational and caring! We always hear goods thing from the boy. I can't wait to register my daughter next.

I have been taking my kid here for 2 years now. Master Nguyen is extremely attentive and patience. The facility is always kept clean and smells nice. I even noticed they have medical grade air purifiers to prevent Covid spread. This place takes cleanliness very seriously to keep all the kids safe, and I’m very impressed.

Growing up, I was never truly exposed to martial arts. When I was 18 I tried MMA and boxing a few times and realized it wasn't for me. It wasn't Until JungDo's Taekwondo School that I truly developed a passion for the arts. The style is authentic and the atmosphere is inviting for all ages. All of our 3 children are learning TKD. It teaches our kids coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, endurance, persistence & self discipline. Our 10-year-old daughter is a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. In addition to the physical aspects of the sport, our daughter has developed confidence and perseverance. She has learned to set goals and to work hard toward achieving them. She participated in both the Texas State TKD Championship & the USAT National Championship. She is learning how to teach the younger classes, encourage other students and talk to them & their parents in a respectful and knowledgeable manner. She demonstrates respect & good sportsmanship.
Our younger two children, ages 5 & 6, just started a couple of months ago & they are determined to follow in their big sister's footsteps.
Master Cho & his instructors, Andrew & Russell are awesome with the children. Our kids love them and enjoy going to Jung Do Taekwondo Academy! Master Cho was born in Korea, has his 6th degree black belt & has dedicated his life to Taekwondo. He is a certified member of Kukkiwon and teaches traditional TKD incorporating Korean traditions, standards, spirit & skill. The black belt certificates earned are recognized world wide & issued in Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters.

If you really want to learn Tae Kwond do, this is only true one to go. They only teach true martial art. Don't you think learn Tae Kwond do from Korean who was born to teach. you learn Karate from Japanese, learn Kung Fu from Chinese, and learn true Tae Kwon do from Korean. Master Cho's breaking a coconut to pieces with bare hand is super awesome.
