I’m a minor, and I’ve never had an adult — especially a manager — talk to me and my mom the way Brian did at this LA Fitness. My mom pays for a family membership every single month, and both me and my sibling are already on the account. But he kept messing with it, switching things around, and acting like we were the problem.

Brian kept raising his voice at my mom in front of me, which was honestly shocking and super uncomfortable. No grown man should be yelling at a parent in front of their kid. It felt like he didn’t care at all about helping us, he just wanted to argue and be rude.

If this is how the manager treats paying members — and minors — then this location is a joke. Definitely not coming back.

Water heater out in the men’s area. In other words, no hot water for sinks or showers.

I’ve mentioned it twice, and each time they say they didn’t know about it.

I know the water heaters go out sometimes, but the last time it happened here, it took about a month before they fixed it.

And also, every time in the past when I’d tell them at the front desk, they would say they didn’t know about it. Either they don’t care or they just want to act like they don’t know. And no, it wasn’t because too many people were using the showers. Literally no one was back there. (that’s another thing I’ve been told that this location on multiple occasions.)

I don’t like to post a negative reviews, but maybe this time it will help to get things moving a little more quickly.

I really like this LAF, and I don’t want it to close like the other three in Fort Worth which have closed over the past five years.

Solid LA fitness that I frequent at least 5-6 times a week. Employees are all nice and helpful. The gym is relatively clean just some outdated machines but that’s typical. Love the people I’ve met from coming in the evenings and will continue to frequent this location as it is one of the best in my opinion compared to the north Arlington or W 7th one.

Close to home. Decent equipment. Those are the biggest draws. And they are important.

That said it's kind of like settling for the big name cell company simply bc it's best poor option.

Takes too long for some repairs to be made. And the ONE hip thrust machine is terrible. 😭You have to lift too high to get it over the lip to rest it. After going to failure it's impossible.

And bc this is such a popular muscle to work--there should be more than one thrust or bridge machine. And a much better one.

The dual cable pulleys? One has a terrible vibration on the left. It's been over a year. 😩

The other dual cable machine next to it? Missing a carabiner clip forever. But they did finally replace it! 🙌🏻

Yes all have been reported to the manager. He is nice though.

And for the love, why are there no fans moving air where the machines or free weights are? It's stifling I've almost passed out more than once and it would be an easy fix. This gym is not about member experience and staying on top of that. They know they are the only big box gym in the area without going to Cooper or into Mansfield so they get away with not trying too hard...just hard enough.

Waited from 8:30am to 9:20am for someone to help me sign up for a guest pass so I could workout with my grandma. Missed the fitness class for a process that took 2 minutes when they finally decided to help. Need more organization and promptness in helping customers. 1 staff approached me. White guy & young (wears glasses). You had painted pillars / poles 2 days prior. Already dried, so using it to stretch my forearm. He approaches me
with hands clenchrd and in a defensive posture and says hey man you can't do that, paint is wet. Told him no, you painted 2 days ago and it's dry. Well, it's cheap paint and we don't want your fingerprints in it. I looked at him, descalated the situation because maybe its the way I looked, but he definitely appeared nervous. Before I got on one of the treadmills I asked one of the staff members if they could play the afc championship game on the tv. They said no. I asked why. He said he wasn’t allowed to. What kind of gym with several TVs doesn’t allow their staff to play sports for one of their members. That was enough for me to cancel.

It was filled right after Christmas early in the morning. I ended up getting sick because I don't think people are wiping down their machines after use. They used to have spray bottles available but the disposable wipes were dried out by the time I tried wiping the machines.

Been a member here for a couple of years now. Pretty tired of never being able to use the basketball court as a paying member because of the constant pick up games being played by guys with pajama pants and crocs. The manager of the facility seems to not care about the fair usage amongst members by facilitating some rules for the court like if it’s a 3 on 3 game to just play that on half court or if you’re In pajamas and slides you can’t get on the court or even adding a roll down divider at half court so everyone can enjoy the amenities. Instead they hang out at the front on phones etc.. this location is 1 step away from a planet fitness at this point

If you’re looking for a gym in the area, keep looking elsewhere. They don’t maintain the machines and so several of them are hard to use and frequently have machines unavailable with signs that say scheduled for service. The women’s sauna has been out for over a month with no updates and no progress on fixing it. The staff at the front desk are unhelpful and unfriendly. When I asked if they knew when the sauna would be fixed, she said “no”. I then asked if she could find out and she said “no”.

We live right between the LA Fitness on Little Road by Walmart and Sublett by Kroger. Based on a little higher start rating we went to join the sublett facility but had the worst sign-up experience from day 1. Went back to try and get things fixed at least 4 times and nothing came out of it. We finally decided to walk into the Little Road facility and my gosh what a great experience from the get-go.
Garret greeted us very pleasantly and within 10ins had us signed up along with a wealth of details on the membership. We couldn't be more thankful for his quick understanding and swift resolution of the issue that we had tried to fix 4 times at the Sublett Road facility. If you want to experience a 5 star rating, go see Garrett at the Little Road location, he is awesome.

I love it here but they got to find a more hygienic way to clean the machines. They got some miserable wipes that can be used to wipe them but they are small and really don’t do much. Is used to be a four-star fitness facility, when they had a decent manager running it. Since she was replaced about 6 months ago, it has gone downhill. They still keep the facility fairly clean, but they have let the men's locker room go downhill, especially the showers. Several of the showers have continuous issues with wasting water since you cannot shut them off at all. This has been mentioned to management several times without resolution. It has also resulted in mold.

They have 13 machines with barbells. They only have clamps for 3. Brought to their attention 2 weeks ago, but non bought yet.

That's just unsafe. Not to mention annoying to have to go find/borrow a pair, if they're not all being used. There should be a set with each apparatus.

A truly phenomenal gym as far as commercial gyms goes. As for qualities about the gyms, it currently has an older demographic. The gym itself it incredibly spacious and has rooms for boxing, swimming, Zumba, basketball, and Racket Ball. Best part of all is the staff. The staff is incredibly friendly and personable. Provided you find yourself in the area, and you are not into small private gyms, this is likely the best gym in the area.

I joined this gym back in 2020 and I love everything about it and it brings me so much sadness that I had to cancel my membership with them because they not 24 hours. I couldn't never make it to the gym being that I work two jobs and when I had down time and couldn't sleep I would want to go to the gym and could because of they hours so I ended up cancelling my membership. Great gym amazing amenities! Overall this gym has all the equipment you need and a basketball court and hot tub and sauna. There’s also racket ball courts. although when it comes to the basketball courts, there are times where groups of people will come in and take over the court having no respect for other people and the games they are playing. At some of the gyms that i go to for l.a fitness they have rules that I added a picture of for the courts to keep it fair since everyone pays their membership. I hope that this gym can implement something similar and it would definitely be 5 stars.

Probably my favorite LA fitness around the Arlington area—nicely air conditioned, clean, fitted with newer equipment (such as a hip thrust machine, stepper, etc) that are also newer in condition, has quality speakers with theater like quality, good music from a wide range of genres (Left Right by XG, Barbie World by Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj, Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera, Rehab by Amy Winehouse, etc) and generally less people than other locations nearby.

This place recently just underwent a renovation to look like the one on sublet. Changed all the machines around. Still kept the same machines. Just move them all around. The workout equipment is great. Men’s Locker room —showers are quite below standard. Shower heads only put out a blast stream. Valves are hard to work, seem broken. Don’t even bother to use the soap and dispensers. Hardly any soap and does not produce suds. Going to a different club. The management here has done nothing although this has been brought to their attention.

Good selection of equipment and great training area. However the equipment is somewhat in disrepair and it can be a little dirty at times. There are a couple of pin machines where you can't put it in the 5 and 10 weight slots because the pin is bent. Also, why don't they include a roll of paper towels on the table with the sanitizer spray? It's just a touch inconveniet to grab a bottle and then go to a dispenser to get paper towels.

My husband and I love this location for so many reasons! First, it has one of the best kids clubs in the area. There's a park with a slide and plenty of room to run around and the staff is awesome. Just wish Kids Club was open Friday and Saturdays as well. They've finally completed a much needed remodel, and have been adding new equipment. Husband was happy to see new squat racks. He's a huge fan of the the sauna as well. I highly recommend the yoga class on Thursdays. The instructor is awesome. Overall, great gym that meets our whole family's needs.

This facility had an upgrade last year. The machines are new. But the locker room is mostly not updated. Missing nobs on lockers. The paper towel usually not restock on weekends. The garbage is not changed it over flows with trash. Also, the shower areas are not updated to date. Most shower heads are broke. The water always change when someone flushes the toilet. The gym seems like they have issues with Janitors staying.

Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions of my life! Thanks to the managers and the staff at this facility, I have FINALLY found a gym where I am comfortable and their knowledge of health and exercise has helped me reach fitness goals I only dreamed of achieving in the past. I had previously considered joining here but I did not have a good experience when I went in to check it out. It is now renovated beautifully with awesome new equipment and a caring staff who are always friendly, welcoming and there to assist you. I came here cause my other gym didn't have a jacuzzi, the lanes were crowded and this place is reallyclose to my house. This place has had the jacuzzi out of service nearly the entire month I've joined.
The pool is not working half the time; either it is completely closed or it is not heated or filtered snd cleaned. Also, the other swimmers say it's not heated properly in the winter either.
Along with that l, the leg press machines (free weight version) are made for really short people, don't hold much weight, my head hangs off the back. The ellipticals are half broken, and the sauna is always on the wrong temperature. Its either 230 degrees or 120 degrees. Lesson learned I guess.

I just want to add that I think the people working here are doing a great job. This grade is for LA Fitness Corporate. They are not willing to spend a dime to make the pools or equipment better at this location. Yet they built a brand new place up the road with all new equipment. Meanwhile the employees here are trying their best and putting in work orders for the equipment and LA Fitness Corporate is not willing to actually fix anything. They just slap a bandaid on it and it all breaks again.

Update. Jacuzzi is out again. Averages about 1/3rd of the year it seems to be out. They should be giving out refunds for not delivering what were paying for.

They remodeled almost everything. Big personal training area. They have lots of classes. It has a pool and sauna wich not every location has. Staff is great very kind. Mia is the best and Juanita always keeps the whole place super clean.

in my opinion this location before the remodeling was better it had more machines and was spacious but now everything is crammed together and at peak time half the dumbbells are missing not sure if it’s people using them or they’re just lost i do love the basketball court though would do 3.5 stars if i could.

My family joined LA Fitness because this location was closest to our house, it has nice amenities, and most importantly it had a kids club.

The kids club at this location will close permanently now on August 12th. 1 weeks notice given!

While they have kids clubs available at other locations I don’t like the other locations or they are an inconvenience to get to distance wise.

Sadly, me and my family will be cancelling our memberships and won’t be back.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable personal trainer, ask for Jacob. He recognized my grip fatigue quickly at the pull up bar and was able to assist with grip straps. I enjoyed training with him before I ran in a Spartan Race.

MIA at the front was incredibly helpful and patient helping me set up my account. Note to LA Fitness management..She needs a substantial pay raise or promotion, I was a member at the same location months ago and she is much more professional and customer friendly than those I encountered before. The only racquetball courts for miles that I can find. Equipment clean, a bit more close quarters than I prefer but still good.

I've been a member of this gym for a while. It's only 20 bucks a month. I especially like the steam room when I'm through working out. You feel so much better after you do it

This location has been recently remolded with newer equipment. I’ve been here in the mornings and night and it is never super busy and you don’t have to wait for equipment. The racquetball courts are taken care of and there are plenty of people who use them and you can play with.
