The manager on duty, Crystal, showed very poor customer service. The front desk and service advisors deserve a stronger leader, because Crystal is not it. OPEN THE BASKETBALL COURTS! Good patrons are being punished for bad apples. My daughter is a student athlete and her workout hours are limited now that school is in session. For them to not to open the courts until 9 am and closed on the weekends is absurd! I’ve been a member for over 6 years. LA Fitness charges my card whether I come to work out or not. My family deserves to GET WHAT WE PAY FOR. Seems like they want people to go to EOS Fitness when they finally open.

Gym may be a bit dated but conveniently located if you live a few minutes away. There is a hot sauna, Jacuzzi and pool in there as well. They have CrossFit area which means they are keeping up with the trends. Would like to see hydro massage and power plate equipment in the future.

I've been going to this gym on and off since 2022 and I have to say that I've noticed a huge decline in this facility in the past year or so. It feels like they're no longer repairing equipment to their previous standards and I can't stand that the gym is constantly hot and humid inside because the A/C is barely on and the steam from the sauna and pool permeates the rest of the gym. I've started going to the Sienna location almost exclusively to avoid these problems, but it's unfortunate because that location doesn't have as many machines.

Canceled my membership in person because they don’t allow you to cancel unless you go there during normal work hours M-F 9-5 or send a letter in 2024 to cancel. Imagine having to take time off work just to cancel a gym membership you were able to sign up for using few clicks online or having to send a letter in 2025. And the worst thing, they kept charging me afterwards and I’m dealing with the headache of disputing these charges now.
Their policies are in place to steal the money from the clients and I will never use their gym ever again.

LA Fitness management clearly doesn’t care about equipment maintenance or member safety. Machines are falling apart, patched up with duct tape, and rusting to the point of being a hazard. Instead of investing in repairs, they let the gym deteriorate, showing zero respect for paying members. If they can’t even maintain basic equipment, what does that say about their priorities? This gym is decently ran, but I don't like working out on equipment that has rust all over it from sweat and looks like it's two decades old. On top of that I purchased personal training, and got injured during training at the gym and they wouldn't allow me to put my training on hold and I lost it all over $1,500, despite a note from my orthopedic surgeon!

Please stay away from here! I came to this facility and attempted to cancel my membership multiple times. One in club, one over the phone and one via mail since they said that was the only way to cancel. Three to times be exact, they still charged my card.

I called as my bank said this should be no issue and they should be able to provide a refund.

I spoke to Robin… the manager…. She stated this was all my fault and despite not going in over a year ago there would be no refund… this is absolutely NOT my fault and Robin please take some leadership training as you speaking over me and not hearing me out, rudely cutting me off and then putting me on hold without telling me is not a proper way to handle a customer. Please do better LA Fitness.

In conclusion if you cancel please have your documents and MAKe them send it to you right away I have lost hundreds of dollars at this subpar gym.

There are several alternative locations in Missouri City and Sugar Land that have better equipment, pricing, and treatment from staff. It's not worth going to this establishment unless you don't mind certain machines being out of order for months, rusted worn out equipment, and threats from the staff to cancel your membership rather than talking to you if there's an issue for the premium price of 'more expensive than most gyms in the area'. Save your time and money, you can do better than this place.

It's a very average location out of all that are in houston. Their toilet, shower, and sauna areas need to be refreshed, as there is rust showing along the bottom of the stall dividers. Shower area wasn't cleaned well (it was only my second time here, so I can't judge by how they normally stay on top of their maintenance). Some of the machines had rust showing as well. This is the only location I've noticed new stairmaster machines, all working smoothly! The parking lot is nice and large.

One of the best LA Fitness I’ve been to in the Houston Area. They have Olympic racks, a great variety of machines in very good condition. The place is clean, I have been there twice and I haven’t seen it get too crowded. There is a Smoothie King inside the gym, the pool is open and functional, and I say this despite it sounding obvious because I go to another LA Fitness and the pool has been out for almost a year and a half or two years… Amazing gym overall.

My cousins and I were visiting from out of town during the holidays and really wanted to take a Zumba class. Only, we didn't leave a whole lot of time for all of us to register for a free 3-day pass, but Valentine was super speedy and accommodating in getting each of us set up in time. A+ for customer service!

Then Judy, the Zumba instructor, was even more amazing than we had hoped, and led a very spirited and challenging holiday-themed class. Another A+! It is clear that the regulars who attend all see one another as family. We even came back on Christmas Eve to attend her class again. If I were local to the Houston area, I would've definitely registered for a regular membership at this gym.

This is honestly one of the nicer LA Fitnesses. They have a turf area and a few Olympic racks, which makes it easy to squat or deadlift. I’m on a family plan with some friends & I think that’s the primary reason it’s worth going to an LA fitness. Plus the convenience of having multiple locations across Houston so I can get a lift in if I’m in another part of town and don’t have time to go to my home gym. They also have hack squats, so that’s a big plus compared to many commercial gyms.

One of the worst LA fitness locations. The equipment is all so old, I’ve been seeing the exact same machines and weights for the past 9-10 years. It always smells so weird in there. All the machines are so cramped and close together because they added a useless turf that anyone barely uses. Location is the only good thing. There’s always a group of people working out at night slamming weights down and yelling and nothing is done about it. Managers and employees don’t care. Front desk lady that works at night is extremely rude, always on her phone even when talking to you, and lets her friends in without a membership.

There was a staff member who was the rudest I’ve ever spoke to. It’s been years since and I don’t have that persons name but to this day my biggest regret was not speaking up and saying anything when it happened.
The sales manager literally yelled at my mom who was trying to get me a membership: we still ended up getting it and she stayed there even with all that since she lives so close but that employee 100% deserved to get fired. I was told he got relocated to another location but he should not serve anyone.
He told my mom to sit down somewhere else and ignored her.
I still can’t believe this happened. I should’ve never signed up for the gym but it’s in the past now. I do not recommend la fitness of any branch to anyone. There were other employees and sales managers that were present that could’ve spoken up and defended my mom or reprimanded him but no one did and when I called about it I was told it was so long ago that nothing could be done. 0/10

This place was remodeled not too long ago, but they did not get any new equipment to replace all the broken equipment. Basically, they just resurfaced the pool and got a large astroturf mat. Lying staff and unfriendly manager are my impressions about this place. Today I walked in with my two kids and we were stopped by the African-American manager at front desk. He looked down to us like looking at thieves because our account showed only two people allowed. It was a surprise to us because we came here everyday as a group of three most of the time. This is our 2nd account. The first one was cancelled because their account manager falsely advised to use my info with my son's picture because my son was the one would need it the most. The old account was good for 3 person. The second account manager didn't tell us about the change from 3 to 2 when we re-did the account with my son's info. Anyway, the manager rudely called my kids back when they walked toward the swimming pool while I was standing next to him trying to figure out what the issue was. He kept ignoring us and worked with other customers behind me without saying anything like "sorry", "please wait". When I tried to remind him that three of us were still waiting and if my kids could go in first, he kept ignoring us. Finally I had to raise my voice and caught everybody's attention around us. So he let my kids in and let me stood there like I was not there. 10 Minutes later I learned from another manager about the change in their policy. Staffs at this place are totally unprofessional. I regret every penny I spent here.

The layout of the LA Fitness in Sienna Plantation is awful. You have too much underutilized space as there are multiple rooms that are sitting empty or marked for employees only. There is a lack of equipment which causes you to have to wait for long periods of time to get on equipment. There are too many pieces of equipment or extra equipment this gym needs to list. Recommendation...get rid of all the empty rooms and put out more workout equipment.

This club is great for the price we pay! They have everything you need. We love that there’s a kids klub, sauna and lots of space in this gym. They did a remodel earlier this year that added an awesome functional turf area. They also replaced all the stair masters, treadmills, squat racks and benches in the free weight area. There’s also a new hip thrust machine, ab machine & cross over cable machine that I’ve seen. I’ve been a member at this club for over 5 years and the management has gotten a lot better. The club is much cleaner & friendlier than in the past. It’s a breath of fresh air honestly to see management care about the club & making improvements. As for the wifi, I spoke with the new Operations manager and it’s above them as to why it’s not being fixed. Sounds like there’s not enough IT/equipment tech employees in the company to go around. She informed me they did recently replace the equipment tech at this club who in the past “didn’t do anything” with someone who is a lot better and more reliable. I’ve seen the new tech replacing numbers on weight stacks & fixing the ellipticals. I would now recommend this gym despite the previous poor reviews. It’s a decent price with a ton of amenities and there’s hope that the club will keep improving like it already is. Not to mention they now offer free guest passes on the memberships which is an awesome added perk.

Staff are not even trained with their policy. Same issues of staff just there, not really knowing what the members’ needs. Small but still better because it’s new and doesn’t smell bad yet.

I have been doing by workout at this gym since 2019. I never had any problem. I actually
Went through the phase when they were remodeling. Now the gym looks stunning. They did added 3 smith machines. The replaced all the trade mills and stair masters. The only concern I feel is regarding punching bags. They should shift those punching bags to one of the racquetball courts as the hall always has some or the other class going on. This location has indoor swimming pool, hot tub spa, sauna, locker rooms, dedicated space for Zumba class, free weights, and cross-fit. separate floor for cardio which includes trademills, row machine and gym cycles, 1 basketball court, 4 Racquetball courts, cycling room and smoothie king.

I love to swim my laps,relax and read my books in the jacuzzi and sauna! Bathrooms and shower area need more housekeeping maintance from time to time. Great front desk service at the Missouri City location, very friendly! The westoaks location could learn something about front desk service from the Missouri City team.

I’m vacationing here from Europe and we’re staying about 10 minutes from this gym. I called and asked about training there and Rick, a manager there, was as polite as can be and allowed me to train there without charge.
The atmosphere is very friendly and the equipment is more than sufficient if you’re serious about training.
I’m a veteran who resides outside of the country and it’s nice to come home and be treated in this manner.
This gym is highly recommended!
