Super nice gym but sauna hardly works. I travel a lot for work and I always try to stay consistent in the sauna. The men’s sauna only gets to like 130 degrees. It’s unfortunate because the sauna looks like they just remodeled it, however it hardly works. Disappointing.

The gym lights are never on. After filing several complaints about the parking lot lights being off for almost a year. They finally turned them on. Just for a month!! Definitely NOT properly trained. Especially in kids club.
I didn’t even make it into the doors last night and saw one of the girls scuff and roll her eyes because we were coming in. We were not greeted but instead she continued to tell another stay member, “If they don’t listen, make sure you put them in time out.” I stopped her in her tracks and informed her she did not have the authority to put my kids let alone anyone else’s kids in “time out” and she laughed. Then she proceed to walk around the gym with another employee following me and trying to stare me down as if they were going to try and do something. All they did was hang out at the front desk afterwards. When I left, my sons fingers were slammed in the door and I was told they all got permission to put kids in time out. Then was handed their job description. Not sure what your job description has anything to do with the rules and let’s make it clear that it didn’t state absolutely anything about ever of putting children in “time-out.” And to clarify separating children and time out are very different. I’d think we would like to agree on that.
I told the girl she was very unprofessional and left before the situation got worse than it already was. I called the gym and just had to reiterated back everything to the manger and I told them that was the wrong terminology with their “ Disciplinary actions” with “time outs” in kids club. She or he stated Yes, Time outs can happen. This blows my mind because I have never heard of this. I’ve been in this industry and work kids club since I was 17. And to top it off, to be in a the room while children are locking other kids in the bathroom and no one is doing anything about it. Resulting in a child getting their fingers smashed hard. Thank god his Dad was walking in just as it happens. My point is Please try and do better. Very disappointing. Kids club continue to just go down hill. Do better for the kids that parents are trusting you too be around. Thanks.

The most filthy shower's ever. No one has done a proper cleaning with bleach in all the showers for over 5 years. There idea of cleaning is maybe picking up hair. The mold has accumulated till it is white mold on the black tiles and black mold on the off tan tiles. There is a constant turnover of manager's and even the ones that are here do not have the showers cleaned properly. The tiles are so embedded with filth, shampoo/conditioner, hair dye, body wash, pubic hair shavings INCLUDING wax w/hair, occasional tampon , pads, and mold that they are beyond help. An acid wash probably wouldn't help. We are a big class of more than 30 people. This is the condition of the shower's when I arrive every Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I know I am speaking for all the other member's of our class when demanding that the manager be on duty by 8am and clean the showers him/herself if they are in this condition. If the manager refuses to clean them hire a cleaning service that guarantees their work. We also demand at least one additional bench be added to the dressing rooms. It is very hard for a class of up to 30 women (which are 99% senior citizens) to change clothes with only 3 benches. We pay money for the membership and deserved to be treated better. Maybe if we all quit our memberships LAFitness will take action. BEWARE of this place.

Usually a great place- front desk is friendly. Kids club my kids love/ however Jeremiah someone I don’t even know called me regarding a car incident. That had zero regards to the gym. I respectfully told the man I didn’t hit his car or any car - in which he was never even outside to witness that I did. But he proceeded to speak to me like an idiot. I hung up & he called me again. I have no idea how he got my number/ I never met him or know him on a personal level. Got my number out the system which I’m sure is ILLEGAL ! I hope the management here reads this… perhaps unfair but after sorting through dozens of these reviews over the last year that had issues with plumbing, hot water, sanitation, eqpt and actually opening on time etc, there is no way I could possibly consider this gym seriously. Unfortunately 24 hour is cheaper but no better off with similar issues. Came to this gym for the first time using my OnePass membership. There was no one at the front desk to help me setup my membership. When I finally got in, I had to meander and just hope to find where the bathrooms were and how the equipment was laid out. The men’s locker room smells awful and the entire facility smells like feet and sweat. The machines all need a deep clean, the floors around the equipment also need to be cleaned as there are mountains of debris and hair around everywhere. First time here and I left halfway through my workout just because I felt like I was working out in filth.

Update. I came in tonight 5 -19 - 25 nobody at the front desk. Not a sole. I went to the back studio to work out. Guess not. There no light. They usually have three little lights. Not anymore. It's pitch black.
I wonder what happens when someone does get hurt and says there was no light ?

For two weeks the gym has been quite dirty. Dirty machines to the point of being disgusting . And for 3 days there has been no soap in the showers. What is happening?? Came to workout as a guest of my brother who is a member. I had been his guest before, the first time I came staff explicitly stated he had guest privileges. Great. I came a second time as his guest about a week ago, no issue. I came today again, and we were told he doesn’t have guest privileges. Weird. But fine, ok. But after explaining the situation, the manager insisted that I would have to pay the daily fee or have my brother add guest pass access to his membership. Which sucks because we had driven together the gym, assuming we’d be able to work out together as member/guest as we had in the past. So this ruined our workout and wasted time as my brother had to drive me home, there was no offer from the manager to workout for the day this one time given the miscommunication/misunderstanding. I was considering getting a membership here myself but now certainly will not.

I cancelled my membership in early December of 2024 but then charged for the month of January. I called and was told by the current manager, Kelsey, that the club did not have a manager at that time so the cancellation was not done correctly. I do not understand how that would matter when I was told multiple times I would need to cancel the membership between 8am and 5pm when I tried to cancel when I would go at 7pm. I was told by Kelsey I would need to come in person again if I wanted to truly cancel the membership.

She was not even there in person when I showed up. I asked if I would receive a refund for this month I was charged since I did what I was supposed to do and was told I would but received an email implying January '25 would be the last time I was billed and nothing what so ever about getting a refund. I called back the same day (Thursday, Jan 30th.) and was told Kelsey would reach back out to me. Never got a call back. I gave it time and called back on Monday Feb 3rd being told the same thing that she would call back or to call back in 10 min and she would be available. Still nothing.

I called today and got the same run around. Finally I told the person I would hold for Kelsey and after 5 min of hold I was hung up on. I called back immediately and the person answering the phone said my name and they would have me hold again. Another 5 min went by and I was hung up on again. I gave it 30 min and still didnt get a call back. This place is a joke and went I was frequently going there its always broken treadmills, slobs sitting on equipment while scrolling their phones and disgusting bathrooms. Do not give these people your money.

Manager seems to be making up her own rules. I’ve been to multiple LA fitness and none of them restricted use of functional training area. Kelsey stated that if there is a training session going on, we cannot even enter the area. I showed her the LA fitness website that clearly says that functional equipment(area) is part of our membership and open to use for EVERYONE. I would love to give up a machine for someone who is getting trained and respect the session as there is limited time but this is just not right according to me. I told her to give me this policy of hers in writing and she refused. Not sure if anyone else experience at any other location, but this needs to be looked in to as the website says otherwise.

This review is effective for Sunday, November 10 2024. As a new member to LA Fitness and coming off of an amazing first day and first workout at the Arlington facility, to show up on Sunday to have the doors still locked at 8:20 AM. Certainly says a lot about the franchise ownership across the entire organization. Considering there was roughly 20 people waiting in the parking lot, it goes to show that the quality of people you hire, make all the difference even if the name on the front of the building is actually the same. On top of the initial frustration the next closest place was driving all the way into downtown Fort Worth. I’m just glad I got there early enough that I didn’t have to pay to park because some irresponsible young Desk attendant at the Westworth facility couldn’t get to work on time.

I’ve been to a couple of LA fitness gym but I was highly disappointed that this gym does not have the amenity I was looking for. Unfortunately, the LA fitness in Fort Worth lack any turf field to work with which is unfortunate. This gym is also very crowded and tight, and has racquetball rooms that are barely used…. Hopefully they’re willing to change some things and add in a turf field or open up a whole new gym with that amenity included in. That would be amazing.

I've been a member of the LA Fitness on Westworth Blvd. for almost two years and have always enjoyed the convenient location and friendly staff. However, I'm increasingly concerned about the deteriorating conditions in the men's bathroom and on the gym floor.

The sauna seats are falling apart, making them unusable and unsafe. Several bathroom doors don't close properly, which is inconvenient and raises privacy concerns. The rust at the bottom of some doors is a potential safety hazard. Additionally, nearly 20% of the gym equipment appears in need of repair, limiting workout options and impacting my overall experience.

Despite bringing these issues to the attention of staff on multiple occasions, I haven't seen any significant improvements. This decline in maintenance standards is concerning and makes me question the value for money of my membership.

I urge LA Fitness management to take immediate action to address these issues. Repairs are urgently needed for the sauna seats, bathroom doors, and faulty equipment. Increased cleaning and maintenance are also crucial to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all members.

If these issues are not addressed promptly, I'll be forced to reconsider my membership and look for a gym that prioritizes proper upkeep and member satisfaction.

I signed up for the 3 day pass while I was staying nearby for the weekend. I signed up for a 4:30pm arrival time on 2/10/25. When I got there and told the girl at the front that I was there for the 3 day pass and I had an appointment, she told me to go check in at a different desk. The guy at the desk told me to sign in on a piece of paper that had a log of peoples names at their phone numbers. He said “while you’re here you might as well sign up for a membership”. I explained I was only in town for the weekend. He said okay and that was it. Nothing else. I had to ask him to at least tell me where the bathroom was since I had never been there and didn’t know anything. So I worked out for an hour and left. The next day I got a text saying that they were sorry I didn’t make the appointment and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I replied no because clearly I already went but nothing was documented on their end. A few days later I got a text from the GM asking if I wanted to be rescheduled. I explained all of the above and that I would not be coming back and he said ok, thank you. Then today I got another text saying he was the GM Coby and my day pass was still technically there for me and asked if this week would be better for me to come get it started. As if the last conversation didn’t explain everything already about me being out of town and already went once and did not want to go back. So overall, not very professional and they must have some lack in communication and policies. They were not welcoming and informative. Not a good experience at all.

I been coming to this gym for a year, and they don’t keep the basketball courts clean at all. They also shut down the AC inside the courts during the summer, and the gym is extremely hot, sometimes unsafe temperatures.

Ben greets us at the door with a smile every time. The facility is clean and in working order. The members are helpful and courteous. Oh, and parking generous!

There is a guy working there by the name of Kobe. I Believe I spelled it right but honestly he has made my last 2 years as an active duty service member easy with needing a gym to workout at. This guy is super down to earth and honestly has made my LA fitness experience one of the best. Appreciate you Kobe !!!

This is a great gym. Weekends get a little messy but I get it. Short staff on weekends. Recommend this gym over any gym in the area for sure. I have options and I chose to go here.

The bathrooms are nasty and smelly even in the kids play area the bathroom had an awful smell and pee all over it. Clearly it is not getting clean. My children wont be back there

The bathrooms need more attention. Grungy and dilapidated. The changing room has carpet that desperately needs several steam cleanings. Equipment could really use an update. Or at least repairs. There are a few machines with broken parts, and the vinyl is cracked. Just overall needs a facelift and attention from the staff. Most just seem to hangout there and not do much.

Always had a good experience here but went at night and one of the staff was yelling and cursing at people to get out so he can close . I understand he wanted to go home but there was no need to curse and yell at people to exit the building. Very unprofessional. It honestly looked or seamed like he had Roid rage . I’m not surprised if he would eventually get physical with someone but he really needs counseling and to find a new job . I called to get the unprofessional employees name and (Logan) asked why I needed his name and hung up . I will be contacting corporate and the manager. Very very unprofessional. Updated Derek and Colleen the managers took care of the issue and kept me informed the whole time. Thanks again!! The environment should be safe and it is now .

I've only been to one other LA Fitness and this one is Great, very clean, lots of machines, pool, and very pleasant trainers. Enjoyed talking to the staff and I had a great workout!

The front desk lady was the rudest and worst ( Colleen Oconnell) try to avoid her , because she won't help at all ..
My first time going there to get membership and she was arguing about my kids,have in mind I had my 8 months baby in arms and a 2 year toddler and she was Soo against having my kids there and .. omgosh!! she was the worst..
Afortunately Cody got there and he was able to help and get a membership and of course add the kids club..
The rest of the team are such a respectful lovely team ! They always make you feel welcome but her ( Colleen) she's a pain in the ***s

This location feels like it’s where gym equipment goes to die. It’s eerily quiet. There’s no functional training area. Outdated racks. Definitely needs an upgrade. But still less crowded and ghetto than FC

Definitely a good gym. Has all the equipment you can imagine. Multiple variations of the same thing, plus a child care. Can't go wrong.
