I cannot recommend Leaders Taekwondo highly enough! Master Hoon and Master Yoon are absolutely amazing instructors who have made such a positive impact on my child’s martial arts journey.

Both Master Hoon and Master Yoon are incredibly kind and supportive, creating an environment where kids feel motivated to challenge themselves while building confidence. They all take the time to speak with you no matter how busy. The staff works as a team and they will push your child/yourself to be the best. Side note: I would love it if they were stricter and worked mine like they do in Korea, but that's me. Old school

I truly believe there aren’t many schools that teach Taekwondo as professionally as Leaders Taekwondo. My son has been training here since 2017. He is now a 3rd Dan and preparing for his 4th, and through Taekwondo he has grown not only in skill but also in character, patience, and discipline.
As a Korean, I’ve always felt proud of Taekwondo, and I’m so thankful that my children can learn it properly here in the U.S. My daughter also started late but is now a 1st Dan, and Taekwondo has given her confidence and helped her overcome shyness.
I highly recommend continuing beyond just earning a black belt—training through 2nd, 3rd Dan and beyond allows kids to truly grow and mature in amazing ways.

I want to follow up on a review that my daughter wrote recently. My granddaughter Emmie attends the Firethorne location of Leaders Taekwondo in Katy. Emmie was just promoted to yellow belt/green stripe, and we are so very proud of her. She truly loves being there! Master Hoon and Master Yoon are simply remarkable. They are not just fantastic teachers, they are incredible people; they are firm but sweet and empathetic. Additionally, they instill confidence in each student, and they find a reason to make everyone feel good about their skill set. Shelby, the office manager, is a wonderful asset to this school! She is a 3rd level black belt who always seems to be able to put a smile on Emmie’s face and makes time for her, even on her busiest day. We adore her.

My daughter had been struggling to find an extracurricular activity that really fit her personality and needs. She was dealing with some challenges and stressors at home, and after much dialogue with her and bouncing from activity to activity, we decided that taekwondo could be an excellent option for her. Our son did taekwondo for two years at another place before we decided to switch to Master Lee’s. He was anxious about changing the places, but in the end it was the best decision. We are so glad we found this place!

Very professionally run, if you miss one week you can make it up the following week, plenty of teachers during the class to attend every child. We can choose which days to attend (6 days per week). Lessons are fun and engaging and all the teachers are so kind. We are glad we joined!!!

We came to a test class for our daughter Sophia and she immediately fell in love with the class and the dynamic of the instructors. All the instructors are respectful and encouraging. The ambience is a lot of fun and the school is kept very clean and nice! We’d been to three TKD schools (we’ve moved states!) Master Lee’s is by far the best school we’d been to. The masters are detail oriented and focus a lot in technique. Our daughter has improved so much and the masters quickly identified and corrected her technique (which honestly was a bit off as the other schools focused more on having the kids do the kicks even if they were not done right) so she could improve and master skills. Moving a lot means getting used to different teaching styles! At Master Lee’s our daughter felt welcomed right away and has grown to love the school and look up to her masters. She was allowed to join Leadership which helps her get out of her comfort zone and be able to teach and learn from other ranks. I love that the masters see the potential in children and motivate them to challenge themselves. Our son has joined too and he’s doing awesome! He’s constantly motivated and we’ve seen a lot of improvement with his gross motor skills and discipline! I cannot recommend Master Lees’s enough!

We love this place! They are so wonderful with the kids and they truly mean it when they tell the kids that it's important to be good people first and foremost - they care how your children are doing outside of taekwondo class, at school, at home, etc. We try to form our children to be little people of virtuous character and I believe each of the teachers here helps form them in that way, and they support parents in that way. They are gentle but also firm, and very fun and encouraging. Class is exciting and my daughter is always happier after participating. Admittedly we've never done taekwondo anywhere else so I can't compare it in that regard, but I feel like we have no reason to ever switch. We love it here!
