We have been attending Leap Dance for three years. When I started my oldest daughter, it was only in one class. She was nervous to join a new studio as she had attended a different studio for 5 years. Year over year she has grown in both skill and confidence and now does multiple classes. She loves the teachers and feels at home here. She asks that I let her “hang” there early to work on homework and visit with friends before her classes start. Seeing her excitement to belong somewhere is so heartwarming!

My two-year-old started her first class this year. When I dropped her for her first class she cried. But she had so much fun that the tears went away and now she runs to her class with excitement! I am a busy full time working Mama who also balances the extracurricular activities for 3 kids. That means sometimes I get wires crossed. Yesterday my 2 year old was supposed to wear a Halloween costume and I totally forgot. She was the only kiddo without one. Ms. Madison immediately jumped in (without being asked) and put a fun and bright recital costume on my daughter. That type of support is worth every penny spent here! I was beating myself up when I realized my mistake and felt such relief when she swooped in to save the day! The teachers and owner truly care about these children. They show it in acts of kindness like this and in the dedication, they exhibit in class. You won’t regret enrolling!

My youngest daughter enrolled 2 yrs ago and has really felt comfortable in the studio (1st dance experience). My oldest daughter had previously attended a different dance studio but was very impressed with Leap’s recital. We’ve attended other recitals that had impressive dancers. However, there is just something special about the theme that LDC picks. It just flows together so cohesively with all the ages and captures your attention with the music. We truly appreciate all the instructors. Plus, its a plus that the location is so close when you have multiple nights of practice.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Leap Dance Center in Katy, Texas. My 2-year-old granddaughter has been a part of their wonderful dance program for the past 2 months. From the very first day, she fell in love with the studio. We absolutely love Leap. The culture at this dance center is unmatched. The focus is not only for my children to grow in their skill/craft, but also to be a kind person. Ms. Demi and Mr. Matt are constantly encouraging the students to challenge themselves and participate in opportunities for new learning experiences. In an economy suffering from rapid inflation, our family appreciates the value Leap provides. The more classes the kids take, the less each class is. This has allowed my daughters to try out multiple dance styles without breaking the bank. It has allowed them to really hone in on what interests them most and also recognize where there is room for improvements. They also have an opportunity for the older kids to participate in an apprenticeship where they assist the younger students. My oldest has really enjoyed the opportunity to teach the little leapers. If you're looking for a dance school that provides great instruction, opportunities for growth and leadership all while encouraging the kids to have fun, look no further. Really one of the most professional dance studios I've seen around here. Love the owner and her family. Super kind, professional and super organized. Couldn't recommend this place enough. We drive about 20 minutes to come here even though there are other dance studios much closer to us but we don't want to leave this place at all. Thank you all so very much for everything you do! ❤️

Leap Dance Center is absolutely a wonderful place to bring your kids to learn how to dance. We started coming a few years ago when my daughter was just 2 1/2 years old and I have watched my daughter go from running around playing in class to complete participation! The instructors are kind, friendly and patient with all the kids! My daughter has had a boost in confidence and now even wants to be a ballerina when she grows up! My daughter recently started her 3rd dance season at Leap Dance Center, and we absolutely love it!

The studio is top notch and clean. Parents can watch their child’s dance class on the televisions in the two waiting areas at the studio. The studio is very organized and communicative.

My daughter takes several classes and is on Leap’s competitive dance team. Our favorite aspects of Leap are the staff and their amazing teaching and choreography. My daughter enjoys all of her various dance instructors and is learning so much. The choreography for both recital and competition dances is creative and age appropriate. We also love the music selections.

We appreciate Leap’s personalized attention to its students. We moved to the Katy area mid-dance season. In order to place our daughter into the correct level of dance classes, Leap requested video of her dancing to review. I was so thankful they took the time to do this ahead of her starting classes. And to top it all off, my daughter was able to be in the end of year recital. We are forever grateful.

My daughter has been dancing at Leap Dance Center for almost 7 years. Seeing her grow while dancing has been amazing. Over the years I’ve realized that when she enters the studio she is part of something bigger, a family. A group of friends that have been sharing the same passion, hard work, frustrations and happiness throughout the years. They have won and lost together and they have seen how working hard and being responsible brings them so much joy.
Her teachers are always looking to increase their potential with positive reinforcement and kindness, encouraging team work and individual development.
The director is always on top of every situation and she is very receptive.
The building is amazing, it's clean, spacious and well lit, and have parking space!
My daughter loves her studio so much that we even moved from Katy and we are still commuting for her classes every week, Tuesday to Friday, and we do it happily because we know she goes to a great studio where she feels safe and can express herself. My daughter has been attending Leap Dance Center for 4 years in a row and she loves it! Her passion and skills for dancing have grown a lot and she is always looking forward to her dance classes. She takes Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Acro. Not to mention, she is also in the dance team competition.

Her dance teachers are excellent, professional and talented. I really appreciate the dedication that they have given my daughter for building her confidence, giving a solid dance foundation and lifelong love for dance. On top of that, the studio is spacious, clean, and well maintained. There are also various of selection for different style of dances to choose from. We couldn’t be happier and we love Leap Dance Center!

Took my daughter here for a paid trial class in hip hoppity to see how the teachers energy was, how she interacted with my daughter and too see if my daughter was comfortable at this facility.

Well, it was awful. When we first arrived there I was given a face of judgement. Then we didn't realize shoes were required since she had been in cheer, they usually don't have shoes for practice especially her age group. That was my mistake and I take full responsibility for that.

They let her continue anyways without shoes, my daughter entered the class to only then be bullied by the other students. I could not see or hear the students saying anything from the cameras we are able to watch in the wait area…Either way the teacher either didn't hear or didn't care. From that moment on my daughter shut down, the kids were laughing at her and the teacher then started telling her to go somewhere she did not feel comfortable going.

Instead of trying to gain her trust, the teacher would just grab her by her arm and move her to each location. Now my daughter does not need to be coddled, but have some patience for a shy new girl and now sad little girl from being picked on.

The teacher you could tell was getting frustrated and finally grabbed her by her arm and placed her next to the mirror to finish out an entire PAID trial class doing absolutely nothing. Mind you this class is no expert level of dancers all these kids were all over the place, so being in the same “level” as these kids was not even a question.. my daughter was simply scared and sad over these kids.. and the teacher failed to gain trust and help guide her through dance as a dance instructor should with a new student.

I had words with the instructor after the lesson only for her to blame my daughter for not wanting to participate.

Unacceptable! I reached out via email only to be ignored.

Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The studio is very clean, it has multiple dance rooms, the staff has always been very helpful and kind.

The owner will personally respond to e-mails in a timely and polite manner.

Overall, they do an outstanding job. My daughter LOVES going here, and they are very reasonably priced. I couldn't be more supportive of Leap Dance Center.

My daughter (6 years) was loosing interest in dance and we were just about to stop when I thought we’d give Leap a try. I am so glad we did. She is loving dancing at Leap! They do a great job of challenging the dancers while keeping it fun and positive. I’ve also noticed great improvement with technique! We are very happy and looking forward to another great year!
