This place is fantastic! I have a very active little one that recently turned 3. I was unsure if this was a good fit because following directions has been a challenge for her. I’m so glad I took the leap annd signed her up for the trial. Everyone is super welcoming, friendly and most importantly they are so patient with her. After just a few classes, I can see progress and also see how much she enjoys coming here. Thank you!

If you are considering a place for martial arts for yourself or your family in the area, Legacy is absolutely the way to go. My son began at the Legacy Harker Heights location in the fall of 2023. When we moved to Temple over the summer, we were so grateful that we were able to transfer to the new location with no issues at all.
The instructors and staff are truly top tier people. Miss Kimberly, Mr. Alex, Mr. Joe, Mr. Jake, and the entire crew are phenomenal. Their professionalism, patience, and passion shine through in every class. Not many businesses today offer the kind of integrity, customer service, and one-on-one dedication that this team consistently provides.
The name “Legacy” couldn’t be more fitting—they are genuinely creating one. Whether you are seeking individual martial arts training or a place where your whole family can grow together, this is the place to be. The environment is safe, fun, clean, and encouraging. I could not be more thankful for the impact Legacy has had on my son.

This was our second dojo to join looking for a place to train as a family. We liked it so much that our entire family including adults train. What I like is that they are open to what a parent is looking for and will listen when you tell them what you want out of training. I like that they understand the developmental abilities and allow for children to progress as long as they are doing what is expected of their age. It has helped with focus and discipline at home. Miss Kim is an angel at the desk. She is so kind and caring. Mr. Jake is amazing at technique and reaching my very introverted child. Mr Alex is a great leader and the kids respect him. There is a whole team of amazing people who are there for the kids.

This rating is strictly based on your lack of pricing . I have never experienced legacy and probably won't because I feel that any place that intentionally hides pricing understands that they are over priced. I understand the value perspective however sometime it is simoly an affordability issue and would like the ability to compare costs. If u intentionally hide the price ..it tells me everything I need to know about your business .

My husband and I have recently discovered Legacy, we wanted to get our 4 yr old into something that would help her come out of her shell, gain confidence, and more! Little did we know how much Legacy would impact her. At first she was scared to get on the mat, but with time and the amazing work Mrs Kim, Mr Alex, Mr Joe, and Mr Jake took to help our daughter gain her confidence was outstanding! The entire team at Legacy is phenomenal. They show they care about you, and your child. They all treat us like family, and even the parents who attend have also become friends. It's a wonderful community. So much so our best friends have decided to join us and signed their son up for classes. I'm forever grateful for the Legacy Team, the community, and the friendships we have created.

Amazing place!!!! Had my son take a few classes while we were in town and if I was from the area I would definitely be taking him weekly!! My son is 3 and I was a bit discouraged with his first class because he kept running off the mat but the instructors were all so amazing everyone reassured me to be patient and gave excellent tips by his 3rd class he made great improvement! Great place to learn discipline and also get the energy out!! Definitely recommend!

My daughter loves this place! They are absolutely amazing. Everyone is so nice and genuinely cares about every kid. They're always there to help every class. The prices for the membership is the cheapest in town. So thankful to have joined this amazing community.

Excellent classes, amazing instructors and top notch customer service! We had signed up originally in Harker Heights not realizing that the Temple location was less than 5 mins from our home. While we absolutely loved our time at the Harker Heights location and the instructors there that 30 min drive one way after a long day can be difficult. Both Ms Helen at the Harker Heights location and Ms. Kim at the Temple location went above and beyond to help us get relocated to the closer location. We have only.been with Legacy a month and already feel like family.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Legacy Martial Arts! I took a self-defense class and was so impressed by how much I learned in such a short time. The instructors were knowledgeable, encouraging, and made the class engaging from start to finish. Not only did I gain valuable skills, but I also had a lot of fun in the process. I left feeling empowered, confident, and already looking forward to the next class. I have 4 kids that attend classes at Legacy. Legacy is the family and community I never knew we needed. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the instructor and staff. Each child is treated like an individual vs as a group. I’d give more stars if I could!

Top Tier, Practical, Inclusive, Professional, Engaging and comprehensive for all ages.
Mr. Alex and Mrs. Kim poor so much dedication and love into their programs and really care about all of their students.
They go above and beyond any other dojo we’ve come across.
I recommend Legacy to anyone who is interested in martial arts, especially for youth!

This was a last minute activity & it was worth it. My nephew currently attends and he loves it. He’s normally shy but the instructor and front desk associate always make him feel welcome.
