Great gym, great atmosphere. Finally back to regular hours. Wish they would open one in Fairfield. Changed one of the basketball courts into a pickle ball court. Why not convert one of the dozens of tennis courts into a pickle ball court or build some, they have plenty of space.

Extremely disappointed with how this gym manages its Warrior Sculpt classes. They’re always full within minutes, yet management refuses to add more sessions or increase capacity. Meanwhile, GTX runs multiple times a day with almost no attendance.
I’ve addressed this issue with the managers several times and received no response or action. It’s clear member feedback isn’t a priority here. Paying for a membership shouldn’t mean fighting for a spot every week. Poor scheduling and even poorer communication.

We love our Lifetime. The yoga teachers are the best. April, Brittany, Palavi, Skye and the crew are amazing. After doing yoga for three plus years now, I cannot imagine not being in this community. Kudos to the rest of the staff, Paul, Enrique and the folks that keep the gym running smoothly are great!

Great gym with plenty of space, equipment, and fitness classes. My only major gripe is the volume of the music and instructor microphone coming from the GTX group fitness classes near the squat racks — it’s extremely loud and distracting. Even with headphones, the noise carries and makes it hard to focus, which really detracts from the overall gym experience.

Amazing service! Shaianne at the front desk was very helpful in helping me connect with a trainer to reach my weight loss goals. Shenice was very helpful as well. Cypress has a hard working and dedicated Lifetime Fitness Team who has committed to making this a customer friendly place to reach your fitness goals. The pool area is amazing as well. Very family friendly and a great food bar.

I’ve been going to this Life Time for a few months now and overall really like it. The gym is super clean, the equipment is well maintained, and the group classes are actually fun. Staff is friendly without being pushy. My only gripe is that it can get really crowded after work, which makes it harder to get on certain machines. Other than that, it’s definitely one of the better gyms in Houston.

This is the worst location, from AZ to Detroit to NY I’ve been to all of them. Food is bad, janitor staff has keys to the lockers, no covers on the pool beds, no pool towels, machines are filthy, showers smell like garbage, no GM for years, they say they have one but I wouldn’t call that a GM.

This location prioritizes being a day care over a gym. I understand the need for child care, but to shut down the only basketball court the entire day all summer when there are literally 3-5 kids at most in the gym is ridiculous. Half the time they are sitting at a table coloring and not even using the gym. When I asked the gym availability during sign up, I was told the only time it is off limits is Wednesday nights… now I can’t use the main amenity I signed up for until the end of summer. They need to advertise that day care comes first over being a gym here. There are a ton of unused tennis and pickleball courts outside - how about changing one of those into an outdoor basketball court since pickleball took over one of the indoor courts?

I have been a member of Lifetime Cypress for 7 years and have never had an issue with any staff member until recently, I had a very unpleasant encounter with a trainer named Dawnelle Hilliard, this trainer approached me in the middle of my workout to tell me that I was being too loud with my equipment, which is very far from the truth followed by “THIS IS A VERY NICE GYM AND SOME MEMBERS MIGHT BE DISTURBED BY ALL YHIS ROCKUS” , what!! this is a very nice gym and I’m a very nice lady so yes I was highly offended by this very poor worded comment I felt targeted, profiled and I don’t deserve that, I have never seen this trainer approach anyone at all let alone with such conviction as she did me, after 2 attempts trying to get in touch with a manager via email I finally got a reply back with a general apology and no conclusive answer as to what did Dawnelle H meant by her poorly worded comment. Still waiting on a follow up.

I love Lifetime Cypress! Warrior Sculpt is the best class ever with the most amazing instructors! I love my group fitness classes. There are too many amazing instructors that I can't possibly take all the classes I would like too. This is a great problem to have. This place has very much become part of my daily life. I've made so many friends. The membership isn't cheap, but Im here 5 days a week so it workout. The best thing about Lifetime, in my opinion, are the group fitness classes, how many their are to choose from, and the ridiculous amount of fantastic instructors.
Skye, Kristen, Jennifer D, Adrian, Yolanda, April, Kelly, Noah, Derrick, Monica, Shenice, Celci are just a few of the amazing people that work here!

Lifetime’s cycling classes are top-notch! The instructors are high-energy, motivating, and keep the workouts both challenging and fun. The Lower Max Out classes are a great way to push your limits while still being manageable for different fitness levels. The atmosphere is upbeat, and the music selection keeps you pumped throughout the ride. Definitely my go-to for an intense, rewarding workout! However, I’d skip the Pilates classes—there are better options elsewhere. Overall, highly recommend the cycling and Lower Max Out classes for anyone looking to level up their fitness!

I've worked out at gyms across the country for almost 32 years. I've found most to be managed decently, with small issues based on preferences here and there, but all promote and maintain a safe environment. Not Lifetime Cypress.
If you want to work out from 4-7AM, avoid this place. There is a group of folks (that seems to grow by the week) that are there every morning and monopolize entire areas of the workout area. The males are bullies and have been known to harass female members. They also threaten violence towards anyone who gets in their way. Most gyms I've frequented have a floor manager available to resolve these types of issues...at this Lifetime location, the inmates run the asylum.
I have found the staff to be friendly; most are doing the best they can with the tools they have. The workout area culture - which is created by the *lack of* management - is appalling and unsafe. Almost all members I speak with are just putting up with this place until a better option opens.

In terms of quality, I think this place deserves 5 stars. It absolutely is a classy lifestyle oriented establishment. More than a gym, it's a place to relax and be healthy. Unfortunately its marred by a few things listed below. Enjoy my whine.
My biggest gripe: the group classes always interrupt the few available workout spaces. If I could reserve a squat rack or a mat space that would be great but I guess the trainers need to justify their salary. I always see artificial saturation of the workout area during these group classes, people just mulling about trying to snatch a squat rack since 2/3s are taken so people can do crossfit. Plus, the studio areas aren't allowed for use by members during off hours, so if I wanted some space to do my bodyweight/stretches I'm lost for options.
Too many times now I've come to this gym only to be cockblocked by these classes. I'm not paying this much money for something so asinine to stop me. I've never had this issue at cheaper gym... barf.
Minor: The available yoga classes feel like intense stretching exercises instead of calming, centering, and refreshing. Slow the fudge down. We have cardio machines if you want that.
Minor: Sewage sometimes waifs up through the pipes and makes the shower areas stanky. Blame the plumber.

I am disappointed with my experience at this Life Time location Cypress TX , particularly with an employee named .... Despite being promoted as performer of the week, I found her to be consistently rude and unprofessional when interacting with gym members. I decided to cancel my membership since we do not go much often and the main reason is my toddler hates what they call “kids academy “ which I do not understand how they call it an academy when the people who are in charge have no experience and not academic. The young ladies who took care of the toddler area made sure that all the toys are packed in the baskets , the toddlers had no toys no activities no TV , no wonder my toddler hates it!!
The family bathroom is so dirty( I had to complain 4 times ), the floor is always sticky which makes is dangerous to kids and parents not to mention the shower area is full of hair and # one most of the time. Guess what the said when I complained “ it is busy area and we cannot have control on that”.
After sending the cancellation email they emailed me back saying they have an alternative solution which is freezing instead of canceling and obviously I did not respond to that email bc I wanted a cancellation.. they keep charging me full amount every month so I have to dispute the charge, and I am tired of doing that , can you pls stop charging me!!!

Don’t fall for it, it’s no different than a $20 gym.
I always reserve my spot in group fitness classes, and I show up there but the class is full and my spot taken. Either they overbook classes or they have no control over who’s attending. This is very frustrating, I didn’t expect to have to deal with this when I’m paying $190 for a gym membership.
The staff at the reception also have no clue.

Nice facility but did not like that that the gym is always crowded. You have to wait for maschines also when I first signed up I asked if someone could show me where all the equipment was located since I was new to the gym. They had to schedule me with someone. I was fine with that and was looking forward to this appointment turns out that it was a personal trainer that was interested in selling me training sessions when she realized I was not interested in trading sessions she completely changed her attitude tried to finish our conversation because she said she had another appointment even though our appointment was for 1 hour and we only met for like 25 mints. I told her that all I needed was someone to show me around the gym and show me where the equipment I use was and she said that that was not her job that I could go to the front and see if someone else could help with that. I thought that was rude, she could have used the rest of the time we had left in our appointment which would not have been long all I wanted to know is where the equipment was and not want to look lost walking around the whole gym for the work out mashines i ussually use. that could have taken no more that 10-15mints.

I’ve had a family membership on/off for a few years now and after this summer I’m not sure I’ll jump back on the bandwagon. While the staff is nice, and I’ve had no direct problems per se, I don’t believe the price of membership justifies amenities available.
Few thoughts:
The steam, sauna, and lockers rooms are great (generally feel like THIS is what you’re mostly paying for)
The gym upstairs is always crowded and it’s not a huge area, respectively in comparison to the size of the club itself
The kids club was okay, but I’m going to suggest hiring more staff to help monitor what actually going on since my kids stopped wanting to go after 3 drop offs due to it being “too” rowdy and the older kids bullying the younger ones without any tangible staff interference
The pool area outside is nice, but the cabanas and all but vanished. Most kids now swim indoors and it’s definitely too crowded at peak times
…. All in all, this is more of a country club type experience. If you’re looking for a place to just work out you’ll find cheaper and better options. If you are the type to lounge around and bring the family over just to chill/be active then this is a good bet (it’s houston after all, and we’re restricted with weather issues 50% of the year)
I’ve read several reviews complaining of cars getting broken into and luckily we didn’t have this issue, but I can see it as there’s no parking at all sometimes. For the amount of $$ families spend - lifetime, get more security or a guard that just patrols the area (vigilantly).
Hope this helps!

My wife and I are both founding members of this club since it opened about 5 years ago. The gym started off very nice and we really enjoyed it. We are very active and are there 5-6 days every week.
As years have passed our monthly dues have continued to rise. Looking back at our credit card statment I can see that our dues have went up $90 since we have joined.
We feel as if the gym has nothing to show for this much of an increase in rates, if anything it has quality of the gym has declined. So we are now paying much more to get LESS.
Here are just a few of my complaints for those considering joining.
1. The pool area is very hot in the mornings. Since they do not do a very good job at circulating the air it makes it very hard to breathe for those that are swimming competitvely.
2. Due to lifetime renting out their pool to swim teams during the week and weekend, you are limited on swim times. The kids swimming lessons also block you from being able to swim. Lifetime is making extra money by doing this. Its not fair to memebers to be limited to certain part of the facilities when they are paying $250 a month.
3. The pool area ourside used to be very nice, with the gazeebos covered and padding for all the chairs. That is all gone now and has never been replaced.
4. The basketball gym is also rented out to cherr teams so your limited on use of it as well. Once again lifetime is double dipping.
5. Youre now limited on parking as they want to make more money they now allow for people to rent parking spaces.
6. Kids are everywhere!!
7. Parking lot is not safe. They blocked off an exit/entrance saying it was supposed to help with all the cars getting broken into. I have not seen a security guard lately, but they were not helpful anyways.
8. The weight area is sooo crammed packed. They added some things recently and have just squeezed all the machines and benches together. Honestly the weight area is not big at all for the size of the gym.
9. The cardio are is hot! If you plan to run more than 15 min you need to bring a few towels because it gets veey hot very quick.
The AC's are controlled by corporate apparently so they cannot make it cooler.
10. Locker rooms have gone way downhill. Towels are all gone and lots of trash all kver the place.
11. You can tell the employees are also fed up because it seems they have a high turn over of employess working the locker rooms.
Hope this feed back helps anyone on the fence. As for my wife and I, we are discussing alternate gym options as we finally feel like we have had enough. We refuse to pay more and get less.

What are we paying such a high monthly premium for? The gym is crazy packed, takes 10 minutes to even find a decent parking spot, cardio machines are always packed whatever time you come, weights are never available with people just more people in line to use them, bathrooms are barely clean, towels are not always stocked near the pool area and no one ever knows about the pool classes. We transferred from the champions location just because we moved closer to this area and regret our decision. We booked a trial class for my daughter’s pickleball class and when we reached for the class were told we were told wrong there was no trial class. That too when we kept waiting for 10 mins and no one knew what was going on. We were promised a comp class for the inconvenience but no one called back as expected. 0 value for the $. The only thing we like is the child care center. But there is no rock climbing or any exciting activities for the kids. Kids summer camp is crazy expensive plus food is not even included. I have never seen anyone cleaning the machines or the bathrooms. Lifetime really needs to address these items!

Unfortunately I have to rate my only experience here as a 1. My friend suggested we meet here yesterday because I was craving a smoothie. She opted for a salad and specified greens ONLY, as she bought tuna on the side and does NOT eat chicken or beef from most establishments and NEVER PORK. This is a strict religious dietary restriction, which should have been obvious enough, as her and I were both wearing hijabs. The salad came out wrong (with meat) twice and she had to send it back. The third time it appeared to have tuna (she didn't ask for tuna), but she gave up and started eating. When she was nearly finished, she noticed meat. Turns out it was bacon. Again, she is a Muslim woman who does NOT EAT ANY PORK PRODUCT. This reflects very poorly on management at the cafe, because one of the FIRST things they should train their staff on is dietary restrictions/allergies. This is a very big deal and absolutely unacceptable. The staff was apologetic, although they appeared to be annoyed when she had to take the salad back initially, but then apologetic after the fact. While I was there, I noticed SEVERAL other Muslim women in the area. Muslims are paying for membership here and should be treated with regard, as anyone else. This is a grave mistake on their part and apologies do not change things. Mistakes happen BUT my friend was very specific with her order. This level of negligence is absolutely ridiculous. Cultural training and training about religious dietary restrictions and food allergies is imperative before you even open for business, much less a cafe that has been operating.

A quick update: This gym keeps going downhill, like someone else mentioned, it really feels more like a summer camp. You can’t find parking in the morning, especially on the weekends. Locker rooms and Restrooms are never clean, but they keep raising the price of the membership, oh and smoothies are like $15 now and they taste awful for some reason. Lifetime is not what it used to be back in the day.
I am not sure where to start but it has gotten so bad. First of all, good luck sticking to your workout plan for that day, the gym is packed from 6 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week.
The restrooms on the 2nd floor are never clean, especially on the weekend, always out of paper towels and the floor is disgusting.

My wife and I recently got memberships at this gym, mainly because of the kid services that we were informed of during our tour of the gym. We were very much sold on the option to be able to bring our 13 month old boy with us to the kid center so that he can socialize with other kids while we either work or work out. During our tour, we informed our guide that he is not walking yet but we were told that he would be allowed in the toddler room, which has ample space for him to roam around and plenty of toys to play with and does not require a reservation. However, when we returned the following day, we were then told he would only be allowed in the infant room, which is a tiny room with rockers and baby toys. We gave it a few tries but to what we assumed what would happen, he grew bored of it pretty quick which lead him to cry. This would prompt the attendant to contact us to come get him and end our workouts early. Because of this, we are strongly considering canceling our membership because what is the point of going when we can’t get a full workout due to him being subjected to the tiny infant room. Just as a forewarning to all parents considering getting a membership.

I had a highly disappointing experience at Lifetime Fitness today, primarily due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of an employee named Molly. From the moment we arrived, her attitude was off-putting and unfriendly. She didn’t smile once during our entire tour, which made the whole experience feel uncomfortable and awkward.
I was really excited about joining Lifetime Fitness, but Molly’s demeanor completely turned me off. She acted as if she had no time for us and gave the impression that fitting us into her schedule was a huge inconvenience. This is not the kind of service I expected, and it certainly does not reflect well on the reputation of Lifetime Fitness. I hope management takes note of this and addresses the issue, as it severely impacts the overall customer experience.

Despite the high membership cost, my experience at this gym has been less than satisfactory. The main issue lies in the disruption of workout flow; finding the opportunity to engage in continuous and comfortable exercise is a challenge. Specifically, when attempting to perform barbell squats or deadlifts, the task becomes nearly impossible. This is due to the gym’s special classes, which frequently occupy the majority of the barbell racks. Moreover, the remaining racks, which should be available for general use, are often monopolized by individuals who are either socializing or recording videos, rather than exercising.

I’ve been with Lifetime for over 10 years and had an increase in membership TWICE in the last two years with sub par service at best. Gym is OVERLY crowded and all anyone ever does is stand in the mirror or on the machines on their phones and not one of the 100 trainers on the floor says anything to anyone. Parking is a serious deterrent. Most days it feels more like a summer camp than anything. Staff is not friendly, engaging or empowered to do much of anything. Seems like every request takes a call to corporate. TVs can’t be changed without a manager and they never have the prime time games playing which is mind blowing to me. Management is non-responsive and for $300 a month I’d appreciate an AI response at a minimum. They changed the protein powder they use in the cafe and the new one is disgusting, so now I don’t enjoy that part either. The thing this gym has going for it to me is location but as soon as a comparable facility opens I’m happily making a switch. And I used to really love my gym but things have really changed.

I been with lifetime fitness since 2015 in North Carolina up until now in Cypress TX. Tonight i experienced the most disrespectful customer service ever in my years with the gym, especially paying a high premium for such a gym. The men locker employee ENRIQUE saw me splashing the water on the little sensor to get little more steam, so he gave me a hand motion like you would tell a dog to come to your attention, then he told me what you are doing is wrong and i will report you in which i personally apologized but he asked for my name and i told him my name is kevin, then he asked for my last name. This guy ENRIQUE had the audacity to ask me “ is that your real name or just a name you go by? wow, just because i am an asian american and the name is Kevin doesn’t apply to my ethnicity. For $175/m with taxes for that kind of treatment for what everyone perceived to be the elite status of a gym. It a huge disappointment to me after almost 10 yrs of membership loyalty from NC to TX especially referred almost 20+ members in NC and 10+ members in TX

I’ve been a member for a few months and alll I can say is it’s awful.First off you can’t use the studios even if there is no classes going on. The studio was unoccupied for about 3 hours and there was no one in there the whole time but my daughter still wasn’t able to use it.The staff also may look nice but there extremely unwelcoming and rude. Also the pool area is gross. There’s paint peeling and it smells like straight pee.in conclusion I don’t recommend getting a membership here it’s unprofessional and unclean.

Lets start 2 years ago i found this place , it was ok like always very busy , i had so many issues
first , the makeups for my daughter swimming and tennis classes make sure you take a note if you miss some days because they just forget about it ,even if you know and you tell them , their policies may work on makeups or not!
Second - be careful with coaches they look very friendly but so many mean and malevolous people here, my advice dont talk to them and dont try to be friend with anyone.
The manager Trisha seems like dont care about irregular situations in general, always busy and saying ill call you and nothing happens,
The bathroom upstairs always dirty,
The pool outside need maintenance, the paint on the slide is pealing, you tell them and again They just dont care! So i just cancel my 800$ membership per month and schedule my time in another fresh and clean ambience!

I’ve been a member for about a year. I may use my membership a few days a month due to flying out of the country for work. The gym itself is beautiful, the locker room is spacious and offers a steam room, sauna, hair dryers, showers with toiletries and plenty of lockers. The equipment is high quality and there’s plenty to go around when I go to the facility which is around 11 am to 1 pm.
My only gripe is the yoga classes. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years in several studios from various instructors and I am familiar with popular westernized variations offered in gyms. I’ve attended several of LT yoga classes and literally they’re all the same regardless of the different names. They only offer Ashtanga and a Yin class called surrender. This has been very disappointing. High paced yoga classes are great but LTs lack of diversity is meh. There’s no hatha, there’s no beginners there’s only intense, fast paced work outs which feel very dangerous. I’ve overheard instructors say that they’re boxed in and have to stay on brand.
Instead of taking a yoga class I try to use the rooms when they are free from classes but I am harassed by specific instructors. The majority of the classes are in the morning or in the evening and the rooms are free mid day. Specific instructors guard the rooms as if it’s their private studios. One requested that I leave because she was charging for a private class that wasn’t posted on the calendar otherwise I would’ve avoided the room. Not all the instructors come off as catty or snobbish. Meghan and Tony are very kind and have a compassionate practice. It would be great if LT would allow a more diverse range of yoga practices, I am sure their classes would have higher attendance especially from newer guests.
***Update 3/2024***
My truck was hit while I was in the gym. I contacted the police to have a report made and to gain access to any video footage LT may have from the parking lot. Staying on brand they weren’t very helpful. No cameras around the lot and their attitude was lacking when I told them it was a hit and run. For what they’re charging, and the overall experience I’ve encountered inside the gym and with their instructors, it’s not worth the tremendous price for their membership.

The gym is fine but the parking lot is NOT SAFE. My vehicle got broken into. Public records show that it happened frequently (I found 46 reports in the past 12 months). The security guy told me it never happened before (absolutely lying). Lifetime does not even respond to the request of video footage from the police (at least for my case). Lifetime stated they already have cameras and security patrols for that parking lot, but apparently these are not effective. Don’t think if you take all your items your car would be safe. I had nothing on display but my car still got broken into. Be safe neighbors.

Very nice fitness club. One problem I see regarding the parking. Are spaces labeled handicapped parking really for that or maybe they should be relabeled to “ Nice Car Parking” as 50% of the time handicapped tags are not displayed. This should be heavily fined. Why isn’t Lifetime management controlling this?

Not worth the price at all. My family is paying upwards of $300 a month, all for a below-average gym. On my first visit, I was greeted by a horde of middle and high schoolers who had taken just about every machine (besides cardio). I noticed that there was only ONE leg press machine with plates, which is absolutely pathetic. Crunch has 3, and their most expensive membership is $30 a month. The gym is absolutely tiny, the club looks big from the outside but it’s all amenities (which are nice, but I’m paying for the gym). The actual free weights, presses, and curl machines will always have a wait time. If you’re a rich suburban mom wanting nothing more than cardio to flex your membership to all of your Wine Wednesday girlies, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a pleasurable workout club that is actually worth the money, go to LA fitness for half the price.

Don’t join here cars get broken into here and nothing is done by the gym nor do they care. I had my car broken into both windows damaged. They broke into 20 cars that day at 10 am in broad day light. The police office stated that the security officer didn’t hear or see anything. I find that very hard to believe, but then when I reached out to the gym they said not their problem because they are not responsible for anyone’s car (RUDE). Not even a “sorry”or here is a free month.. NOTHING!! Wow for the fact that I had my entire family 300 dollars plus a month and they didn’t care.. I gladly cancelled that, my neighborhood has a gym that I will be using then. You don’t deserve my money or business then. Please don’t go here the police officer told my husband and I car break ins happen all the time at this location! BEWARE!! The fact that the security guard didn’t hear 20 cars being broken into in broad daylight is suspicious.. Horrible and lack of empathy on the gyms part for everything that happens to me after being victimized and my property destroyed.

I absolutamente love this location, staff members are so pleasant especially the front desk staff. Becky & Noah with their adoring smiles are my favorite ❤️ the cafe staff goes over and beyond anytime I’ve dined there. Especially Mia O, Alex and the cleaning machine himself JOHNNY he does not play around about the look & cleanliness of the cafe. The food is made fresh and served with wonderful attitudes & beautiful smiles.
I sometimes work in the cafe and go to school (online) from sun up to sun down and no one has ever gave me a hassle about how long I’ve stayed, the atmosphere is very welcoming and bubbly (I’m a very bubbly person love to smile) this is a great location for families, single ppl, married ppl cats dogs & just all people alike! If I could I would give 10 STARS ⭐️ do yourself a favor and come check this location out!!!

I just wanted to come on here and say how much my family and I enjoy this club. When we moved from Dallas, we were unsure if we wanted to continue to be LifeTime members or try somewhere new. After checking out and touring several clubs in the area, we came right back to LifeTime! Yes, it is busy, because it is an incredible club and atmosphere. The members are friendly and the staff is accommodating, knowledgeable, and kind. We have had some questions regarding the club and the kids center and Nick has always been eager to help and give us all of the information we could need. He always takes his time with us and is incredibly enthusiastic about his job and the club. (Give this man a raise, ASAP!)
The kids center has amazing activities to keep their minds and bodies busy, and we look forward to trying the summer camp here in a few months as well. I’d highly recommend giving this club a shot, taking a few classes, enjoying the indoor pool with the kiddos and realizing that: yes, this is a busy place but it is because we all have similar health and wellness goals for our families and this is the best spot in the Cypress area to reach them.

I've been a member for 4 months now, and I love it here. The amenities are great, the staff is super friendly and helpful. They've got everything you need, and the place is always clean and well-maintained. The only complaint is how busy it gets. If you can only come during peak hours, don't join. It gets so crowded that there's no parking, no machine, nothing! It's a real drag to pay almost $200/month and having to drive around looking for parking or waiting around for machine..

After nearly 3 years of being a member I decided to place my account on hold and not even a month after they reactivated my account without my permission. My schedule is stacked so I decided to give them a call to address the problem, after an hour of calling with no one answering I decided to drive up there. Once I get there there not one but two employees at the front desk just staring into space and claiming it was busy which is why they didn’t answer however I kept calling up the moment I walked in. Not only was my money not refunded they’re making me wait 4 days until a supervisor is there to refund me, you heard that right a club that big does not have someone to refund me on sight, or maybe they do they just don’t want to do it for me right away, which only goes to show I was right for deactivating my account in the first place, most of the staff at the location is incredibly rude and won’t even acknowledge you when you walk in I guess because we owe them something. Stay away from this location it is managed very poorly. Not to mention at least 1 vehicle break in is guaranteed daily
Update: I guess me calling for 4 hours straight and never getting an answer is fine. Tuesday came and the manager never called, I showed up and she was not there.
Also what do you mean is not a valid reason? I was never communicated that there was a date my account would be reactivated. Seems pretty shady to me. Also you’re definitely one of the ones that has never even greeted me as I walked in. I rest my case, and will have to ride out one more month thanks to your incompetence. The girl that did help me was sweet, like I said a lot of the staff is rude BUT not all.

Gym is very nice, but parking lot is not safe. Car got broken into at 10:30 am on a Saturday morning while a security guard was present. 15 cars in total got broken into and the security guard saw nothing. The police officer that came said that this is a frequent occurrence here. I cancelled because for $300 a month for a family of 3, I can’t afford to replace broken windows on my vehicle every few months. When this happened, I contacted the club and asked for the manager to call me and never got a phone call.

My vehicle (and ~10 others) were broken into on Saturday September 30 around 11:00 am. Smash and Grab. The police told me that this was the third Saturday in a row where there were smash and grab at the Cypress Lifetime parking lot. Lifetime staff were on-hand to quickly clean up the window glass. There is no security at this location and since this is the third occasion that this has taken place, one would think that after two previous events on-site security would be necessary.

I took the time to be there,, they didnt bother to invest their time. How come you had no one in the entire facility to honor the committment?! Pay about $250 a month and I literally can’t get in a class even with a reservation. They let people bum rush the door and take your reservation at the five minute mark. I was literally getting a weight in the class and someone stole my spot. They (managers and front desk) said too bad.
I signed up two teens specifically to use the basketball gym all summer. NOPE. They make tons off the kids summer classes and fill the courts with kids. My teens can’t even go so it’s a huge waste. I pay $250 for a treadmill I can use at home for free. Not worth the hype. OPEN THE BASKETBALL COURTS…. FOR BASKETBALL!!! This is a gym, not just a childcare facility.

Joins the club due to closeness to home and despite the high membership fees. I’m paying $420 for my family. More times than not I have to wait for the equipment I need, which is the same situation at much more reasonably priced gyms. Me and my family had to travel on short notice and and wanted to “suspend” my account for a month but they said it’s their policy to have a 30 day notice. I wonder what kind of requirement is that? I understand if you want to cancel but to just suspend, that does not make sense if you know that we’ll be back. By the way front desk is snobby most of the time. Expected much better customer service. Very disappointed.

Fantastic gym. The facilities and classes offered are impressive! Child membership program is second to none with a wide variety of classes offered as well as parent nights out as part of your membership. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because on-top of a very steep monthly membership cost, they now also charge an additional surcharge to access the outdoor pool and slides for the summer period. It is closed off season. All other gyms offer this free so a bit disappointed when they started doing this last year. They have also increased their rates a couple times over the last 12 months when the facilities and programs remain the same. But still a great gym and highly recommended.

It's great if you're new and a beginner but if you're seasoned you'll get frustrated at the insane amount of people constantly at this gym. Even at 4:30 in the mornings you still have to fight for gym equipment and the ridiculous amount of Alpha classes utilizing the barbell racks section during peak times between 5am and 7am. The only class I like is dance jam and a few others but that's it.
Also parking is crazy, like really really crazy. But then again I guess that's because this area has outgrown itself with all the new apartments and houses that keep popping up on every corner. Every business including the nearby HEB is overcrowded. Time for another gym in this area to give Lifetime some competition.

I recently signed up for this gym, attracted by its reputation and high monthly fees. Unfortunately, my experience here has been far from satisfactory. Despite paying $190 per month, the gym does not offer a good WiFi service, which is worth much less than what I'm paying. I've spoken to staff members on multiple occasions, and they have advised me to email the upper manager, Thomas, to address my concerns.
I'm disappointed with the lack of effort the gym has put into providing quality services to its members. I hope this review will help other people think twice before signing up for this gym. I understand that gyms have their limitations, but when you're paying a premium price, you expect to get premium services.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a gym that provides top-notch services, I would suggest looking elsewhere. I hope the management team of this gym takes note of this review and takes appropriate steps to improve their services.

If you're looking for a gym with great amenities and equipment, then this gym might not be the one for you. While the gym has some decent equipment, the busy hours can be overwhelming, making it difficult to find a free machine. Additionally, the gym's top manager appears to be less concerned about clients' needs, as evidenced by the lack of attention to the gym's wifi issues, despite the high membership fee of $190 per month.
On the positive side, the housekeeper and receptionist are doing a fantastic job. The gym is always clean, and the receptionist is helpful and friendly. They make the gym a pleasant environment to be in, despite the issues mentioned above.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a gym with great amenities and attentive management, this gym might not be the right fit for you. However, if you're okay with some limitations and looking for a clean and friendly environment, this gym might be worth checking out.

Amenities are great but the price is going up and services is starting to decrease. The once exclusive gym has now had a huge increase in membership. Especially a younger crowd. I was on vacation in Houston over a weekend about a weekish ago and this was the lifetime I chose to stop in too and I quite enjoyed this lifetime it is very similar to the one I'm membership to and I very much enjoy that the hot tubs are in the locker rooms. I travel to a lot of Lifetime gyms over the years and it's really nice to have the newer gyms instead of the ones that are 15 plus years old to visit. I didn't have very many reactions with the workers they seemed Pleasant. I will definitely visit again I'd like to go to maybe some of the other lifetimes too they're in Houston but I did quite enjoy this one and I've been a member with lifetime since 2017 I only went in to go to the hot tub in the locker room so I didn't look much at the rest of the gym but I mean it seems quite comparable to the gym I'm a member of so I'm sure it's very nice
