Stopped in for a guest pass visit and was impressed by the wide variety of fitness equipment at the center. A special thank you to Josh at the front desk for helping me get registered so I could maintain my fitness routine while visiting from out of town.

Dear, Lifetime Garland
I recently visited the Life Time Fitness location in Garland, Texas, and unfortunately, my experience fell well below the standard I expected from a facility of this calibre. While the gym itself offers impressive amenities, the quality of the staff’s customer service was noticeably lacking.
Several team members came across as rather rude and dismissive, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Instead of offering assistance or even basic courtesy, staff interactions felt rushed and uninterested, as though addressing member concerns was an inconvenience. For a premium fitness club, this sort of behaviour is quite disappointing.
Professionalism and a friendly attitude should be the foundation of any membership-based service, and it’s especially important in an environment where people come to improve their wellbeing. Unfortunately, this location failed to deliver on that front. I genuinely hope management addresses these issues, as the facility has great potential—if only the staff embodied the same level of quality.
Sincerely John Jerry Michaels, PHD, MD.

Thank coach Elliot for 10 years of crazy good training! Everyday I get stronger fitter and more mobile. I have fallen in love with Olympic lifting, and a good metcom.
My favorite gym. Home away from home.
Updates: study areas, renovated sauna, pool patio couch sets, always amazing people, kids center fresh floor, renovated indoor pickle ball courts, out race jungle gym, fresh flooring. Better everyday!

Maybe spend $15 and clean up a few things. There are only two crunch machines, so when the grip is destroyed and left like this for 3 months, it might be time to reevaluate maintenance schedules. Just saying...
Update: As of the new manager coming in, they fixed this right away.

The policies at this gym seem to depend on whether the front desk staff likes your profile or not. Last month, I brought my brother as a guest, and they let him in without even asking for anything. Today, however, they refused to let him in because he didn’t have a physical ID — something we were never told was required based on the previous visit.
It feels like some staff members just like to make things unnecessarily difficult. That kind of inconsistency is exactly why the business are losing guests all the time.

We recently joined this gym because our daughter 7 year old love swimming and most other gyms do not let kids 12 and younger in the pools in general.
Since then we found out that the swim team / Coach Adam is a great coach and has helped my daughter improved tremendously and is slowly starting to push herself.
My wife has also joined a swim class and now knows how to swim.
I have been hooked on pickleball and been playing none stop. The open play here are great but they really do need more courts. The parking lot in the back need to be redone and made into another 3 courts.

I have been a member of this gym for over 21 years, and I am extremely disappointed with how management has handled incidents of intimidation, bullying, and sexual harassment.
I play pickleball here daily and, unfortunately, have encountered repeated problems. In the past several months, I have been subjected to vulgar language from male players who lost games to me, being cursed at, and called degrading names. Despite reporting these incidents, nothing was done, and the same behavior continued.
Yesterday, one of these individuals, a man named Bill (a tall man in his late 60s or early 70s who often wears sleeveless shirts), escalated things further. He put his hand on my back in an attempt to intimidate me into giving up my paddle spot to let him play with Kyle, who was in the same group as me. When I refused, he became aggressive and looked ready to strike me until I pointed my phone camera at him. Only then did he back down. I reported the incident immediately. Shockingly, instead of supporting me, the manager, relayed that Bill claimed I had provoked him with vulgar language—an outrageous and victim-blaming response.
Another woman later approached me to say she had witnessed Bill act the same way toward another small female player just last Sunday, and she even offered to be my witness. This proves these incidents are not isolated.
It is clear that management is failing to protect its members, especially women, from harassment and intimidation. I expected more accountability and safety from a gym I have faithfully supported for over two decades. If this is how issues are dismissed, I can only imagine how many others have gone unreported.
While I sincerely hope there will not be a recurrence of such incidents, I want to be clear that, should anything similar occur again, I will be prepared to document the behavior with photographs or video evidence and escalate the matter as necessary.
I urge Lifetime Fitness to take this matter seriously, review how reports are being handled, and ensure that female members are safe and respected in this community. I have recommended Lifetime to many of my family and friends. Until then, I can no longer recommend this location to anyone.

I recently signed up for the gym and scheduled a goal-setting session and dynamic stretch with Niki. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she guided me through my fitness and weight-gaining journey with great insight. Niki was outgoing, easy to talk to, and very personable. She showed me effective stretches I can do on my own and gave me a great assisted stretch. The gym itself is a huge upgrade from any other gym I’ve been to. It’s spacious, and I love that I no longer have to wait for machines to open up! My only complaint that I have is that the benches have sweat and oil stains, so it doesn't feel very clean.

This gym has gone downhill fast over the past few years, and as a woman, I would strongly caution you from joining.
There are some serious safety concerns, especially in the parking lot. The security cameras only cover the area directly in front of the building, yes you heard correctly, nowhere else. That means if you can’t get one of the few front-row prime spots, you’re unprotected. With shorter days and darker evenings, this is especially concerning given how poorly lit the parking lot is.
Several people have raised concerns about harassment, theft, and intimidation. Unfortunately, management consistently ignores them. They don’t even warn members or acknowledge what’s happening, or take any action to improve safety.
For the price they charge for membership, you’d expect a clean, safe, and professionally managed facility, but this gym is a joke. I could join 4 other gyms for the price I paid to go here.
Don’t get me started on the cleanliness of the pool area. I’ve seen men shaving in the sauna, women exfoliating in the jacuzzi. But don’t worry, management “put up a sign” to fix it.
One of my favorite things is when they are mopping the stairs at 10am on a Saturday or literally vacuuming around your feet while you are working out. The perfect time to scrub the floors in the pool area is mid morning while 20 people are sliding around in the soap. Oops, did you just get Fabulouso on your shoes?
On a positive note, the group fitness is amazing, the instructors are amazing! I’ll miss them the most.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Management makes Inappropriate comments about both their own staff and members. The utter disrespect that management lets slide is disheartening and it is not an environment that you would want your children in, especially in Aquatics, the lead does not care about your children’s well being and only cares about charging you the monthly fee for swim lessons and scamming you. Please do not go to this location if you are looking for a healthy, friendly, and fun place to workout or take your children.

I’ve been coming to Lifetime for a long time but all the time this asian half blonde girl gives real bad service experience as a front desk. Idk what’s her problem if to think about it, very selective about customers’ color or race or what. never seen her smile btw. Real Karen vibes and eye looks. Everyone else is pretty polite, I don’t think it was a good choice to have someone like her at the front desk ngl

Been a member since 2000 ... enjoy this gym because of their group classes, alpha classes and friendly staff. They have a spa for haircuts massages and pedicures... and a life cafe that has some amazing choices that are tasty and healthy.
Uodate: still enjoying the gym. Go to their alpha classes pretty much daily on the weekdays. The trainers are all super friendly and professional. My partner does personal training.
[EDIT] Moved to a different Lifetime about six months now mainly because of the management at the Garland gym. Only come now for the spa (which is awesome!) and the rare occasion when I have absolutely no other choice. Customer service matters and really not hard to find elsewhere. New gym has what bothered me about this gym ... friendly and HELPFUL front desk staff and manager!

Outside pool is pretty nice not too busy but the building was not taking any cash or credit cards for food that week so my kids didn’t eat which was about 4 hours we were there, crying kids and hungry on the way out just attempting to walk out of the place almost slipping on wet floors in indoor pool area while carrying my toddler, then the white old women that works in the women’s locker room was very rude to my kid for making a simple mistake. Maybe try the Las

Stay Away! My family's experience was incredibly disappointing. The kids club lacks qualified personnel to properly care for children. If a child cries for more than ten minutes, they immediately call the parents, regardless of whether you are at the SPA or just beginning a training session. Even after complaining to the supervisors, they say they will call you and let you know what will happen but they necer did! The swimming club is subpar; they are impossible to reach and did not follow up to schedule swimming classes for our daughters after the first session. They have no qualms about canceling memberships without any empathy. They charged us for two months despite that we used it only for one week and canceled our membership because we can not train if they can not take care of our 2 year daughter. Even renewed our swimming classes after cancelation. The customer service and operations teams are completely inadequate and don’t care about you.

Lifetime Garland is a great gym—smaller than some of the other locations, but still very nice. Unfortunately, our experience with the child care has really hurt the value for us. We have a 6 month old baby, and every time we try to work out, we get called back within 15 minutes: “Your baby is ready for pickup.”
We understand kids can get fussy, but we’re paying for this service so we can actually use the gym. It feels like the team either has very little patience, limited experience with young children, or simply doesn’t want to deal with toddlers. If that’s the case, they shouldn’t offer the service for that age group.
We truly love the gym itself, but this makes it hard for parents to get the full value—especially considering the cost.

The summer swim team can be a great opportunity for kids to stay active and build swimming skills—but I would strongly recommend avoiding the weekend meets.
We attended one of the meets at this location and were extremely disappointed. The event was supposed to track each swimmer’s progress and times, but in my child’s heat, only two out of four swimmers had their times recorded. Because my child’s time wasn’t logged, they won’t receive a ribbon and have no way to track improvement—which completely defeats the purpose of attending.
Swimmers were limited to three individual events, but one team was allowed to swim in four, with no consistency in rule enforcement. To make matters worse, a swimmer finished breaststroke using dolphin kicks, clearly to win, and it was allowed by the coach. Now my child is asking if they can do the same next time just to win. This sends the wrong message and undermines the values of fair competition.
The meet also started 20 minutes late, with no shade and not enough umbrellas for families waiting in the heat. Inside, things weren’t much better—aqua aerobics and private lessons were crammed into the same small indoor pool.
The family changing rooms lacked clean towels, and the showers were dirty, with visible hair and poor cleaning overall. I believe traffic was too big to be managed for cleaning staff.
If times aren’t going to be recorded, why are families expected to sit in the heat for 4.5 hours just for a one-minute swim? There was little fun or value in it without proper timing, structure, or cleanliness.
In short, the summer team itself may be worthwhile for practice and growth, but the weekend meets—at least in their current state - are not worth the time

Lifetime Garland is our family’s second home—for better and for worse.
Let’s start with the sweet: Alexis and her aquatic staff are absolutely phenomenal. It’s rare to see someone take as much pride in a program as she does, and it shows in everything from the class structure to the attitude of the instructors (Matt, especially, deserves a shoutout). We practically live in the pools—indoors year-round, and outdoors all summer—and the aquatic experience is the crown jewel of this location.
The workout floor is well-equipped and meticulously maintained, and the locker room attendants are consistently warm and attentive. So yes, parts of this facility do shine.
But then… there’s the rest.
The front desk and general management embody the phrase “not my problem.” Indifference seems to be their customer service strategy. The guest policy is laughably stingy—we have family in town often and would love to bring them along to swim with the kids. But they’re limited to one visit, even if they’re staying with us for weeks. When we offer to pay for day passes? A shrug and a “no, sorry.” Somehow, exclusive country clubs in Dallas are more welcoming to guests than this gym.
For the price we pay, the rigidity and unwelcoming tone are just insulting.
The outdoor pool? Not enough shade, not nearly enough seating, and mysteriously only one trash can in the whole space. And then there’s the co-ed sauna on the pool deck—a humid purgatory of awkward eye contact, loud phone calls, people doing lunges in 110° heat, and a revolving door of interruptions. Relaxing? Not even close.
I’ve raised these issues. I’ve asked questions. I’ve voiced concerns. And in return? Silence. Indifference. The same shrug that greets every inquiry at the front desk.
So yes, Lifetime Garland could be incredible. In some ways, it already is. But as it stands, you’re paying premium prices for inconsistent value—and unless Alexis is running the whole show, don’t expect your concerns to be heard, let alone addressed.
You’ve been warned.

We came to play pickleball in open play . Seems like the existing players were making up their own rules , moved paddles out of order and even told us that they play as a group because of their skill level. went with a group of friends on Wednesday June 19th around 8 pm and the girl working at the desk was checking ID for people who do day pass, which seemed fine. She then turns a group of people away because one of them didn’t have an ID. Then another group comes in without their ID and she lets them in!
Then i ask her if it’s $40 per person for the day pass and she says yes , but then my sister says that the paid $40 total for her and her husband, and the girl at the desk says “ yes i was only doing you a favor”
While standing there to check in, i experienced twice that the girl at the desk was showing favoritism to the people that she “liked”.
Never have i seen this being done at a lifetime , but it was truly unprofessional

Disappointed with Cleanliness Standards at Lifetime Garland
As a regular member, I’ve always appreciated Lifetime’s reputation for quality — but unfortunately, the Garland location has been consistently falling short when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene, especially in the locker room and shower areas.
It’s concerning to see people eating breakfast inside the locker room. Not only is this unsanitary, but it’s also likely contributing to the ongoing cockroach problem. The showers, in particular, are in desperate need of attention. I visit daily, and it’s frustrating to see the same clumps of hair left in the showers day after day, a clear sign that cleaning isn’t happening as frequently as it should.
The shower curtains are also in poor condition — stained and outdated. Other Lifetime locations have upgraded to glass doors, which are not only more hygienic but also easier to maintain. If a full renovation isn’t possible, at the very least, replacing the current curtains regularly would make a noticeable difference.
Lifetime is meant to be a space where members can unwind and take care of their well-being, but the current state of the facilities at this location really detracts from that experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and prioritizes improvements soon.

After being loyal members for over 10 years, we were shocked by the treatment we received recently. We tried to resolve an issue involving a payment that supposedly dates back several years—something that was never communicated to us until now. Instead of working with us or offering a payment plan, Wayne, Kali, and another team member were incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help.
It's hard to believe that being inconsiderate and unprofessional is part of the customer service training here, but that’s exactly how it felt. There was zero effort made to understand our perspective or find a solution. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing beyond words.
After a decade of loyalty, this is how we’re treated? Absolutely unacceptable. Do better.

I highly recommend LifeTime Fitness Garland, or any location at that, and appreciate all the staff, classes, kids club, spa, cafe, etc. & overall environment that make it such a fantastic place! THANK YOU!

We've been members for 4+ years & the adult amenities are great. The fitness floor, Pilates (extra $), & locker rooms were nice & clean.
Now for the kids' amenities - Regina is over the kids' department & is very nice & listens to concerns. The kids classes were great until my older kid (9) aged out of the younger classes. I could rarely schedule congruent classes for both of my kids. My 9yo is too young for the fitness floor, but really too young for the classes offered in the children's center. If a class doesn't make, they often just end up playing dodgeball or gym games.
Parents night out - best perk of the children's membership! I usually still fed my kids before/after because one small slice of pizza & a juice isn't much, but it's a nice perk.
My biggest complaint is family swim time. Our main focus in the summer here is the outdoor pool. The indoor pool the kids are supposed to use is geared towards small kids. The indoor "kid" section is half of one pool & 2 feet deep. The other half is roped off for lessons, laps, water aerobics, etc. The outdoor pool hours change for family swim hours (12 & under) without notice. We just showed up to swim outside because the app says it's open for family swim (as of 6 days ago), but it isn't (again) making it a complete waste of a trip because 20+ kids are trying to share 2 feet of water in half of the indoor pool. My kids have already passed their swim test & swam the length of their lap pool unassisted, but they can't swim in the outdoor pool WITH a parent if there's not a lifeguard or outdoor family swim is closed. I get to pay a lot of money for amenities that we can't use. I'm cancelling & switching to a city rec program.

If I could give them a zero, I would.Front desk is incredibly rude and very difficult to deal with. Reported several times to the main cooperat office, I haven't heard back usually means I don't want to speak to you -plain and simple. This makes a very bad impression and doesn't show the company in its best light.

Very unprofessional personnel. We scheduled an one hour tour. It turned into 7 mins Q&A session without a tour. Website has more information then representative was ready to provide. Looks like Life Time Fitness in Garland is not interested in new members at all. I had strong feeling that I wasn’t welcome there.

Nice facility and staff but way overcrowded. There should be a rule of no cell phones in the weights area because people will camp out on the equipment with their cell phones for extended periods. I remember when I joined in 2004 that they told me they capped membership at 10,000 per location to prevent overcrowding but I am confident that has been far exceeded. I am strongly considering moving to the LA Fitness in Sachse.

I can’t believe the service at this location. I’ve been to Lifetime Gyms in Plano, Allen, Austin, the works. This one is the WORST. STAY AWAY!! Front desk is incredibly rude, and very difficult to deal with. I brought a guest who I have never brought in before and they gave us a VERY hard time. I haven’t dealt with this type of service before, and it bordered on racist behavior. I pay the full signature membership monthly to go to Lifetime, yet bringing in a guest in the evening is a cardinal sin. If you want to go, go to ANOTHER location (I suggest the Plano one, the one I normally go to - excellent!). STAY AWAY.

I’m in love with this place. From the gym to the pools it’s all amazing. LA Fitness doesn’t come close in comparison. A friend brought me here and it was my first time in a gym as an adult. I now have my own membership and use it all up! Kids have a great time at their club too. Very very clean facilities and friendly staff. I can’t complain. This place makes me want to go to the gym! Also, biggest thing for me is that no one member cares what others are doing, they’re all going for themselves and not shopping! I couldn’t be happier with this place ❤️

DON’T GO to the fitness at Garland location. It seems like they don’t need more members. On April 22, 2024, around 5pm, I walked in to get a tour and a price (I’ve never been here before). After few minutes I had enter the door, the 1st woman at the counter with a cold face didn’t welcome or asked me if I needed help, so I had to come & asked her how I could have details information about this fitness & classes at Garland location
She just told me: go to the website & let me standing there like I wasn’t exit. I was continuing standing there for a while seeing her checking in for other customers & chatting & laughing with the other co-worker & didn’t care I was still there. After a few minutes, I went to the other younger Hispanic girl & asked about touring the fitness. She said I couldn’t do it at the same day & I have to go online & reserve it. Then I gave her my phone & asked her to help me reserve touring for the next day on the website. Then she said she set it up for the next day but I have never received any email about tour reservation or any call from them regarding to that.
I don’t think the 1st woman does her job appropriately. I don’t know she is just an employee or in the management team but the way she acted on that day made me think I wasn’t belong there. It was very rush or just wanted me out of the club.
She doesn’t care about customers at all.
In general, the Garland location definitely needs better customer service.
After had a bad experience with Garland location’s employees, I made a call to RETRO Fitness in Richardson & they were warmly welcome me, gave me a tour on the same day. Gave me 3 days free for practice before I made my decision. They’re so nice & the price much much more reasonable than Life Time Fitness. (I’m NOT related to anything at Retro Fitness, just reviewing & making comparisons)
I don’t recommend this Life Time fitness at Garland. 👎

Horrible lifetime experience on 5/6/2024 in the evening with manager Dan.
I have enjoyed being a lifetime member for 16 years and this has been my 1 and only negative lifetime experience.
I was not allowed entry into the building tonight because I brought a guest to workout- who was interested in becoming a lifetime member themselves.
Dan said it was simply too late.
I told him that I was unaware of the time limit and that I would adhere to it, but to please allow me entry this one time as a consideration to a member.
He simply said no and turned us away from the gym.
I have brought guests at that time before and have never had an issue.
And I see Dan all the time…
Felt very rude and showed poor managerial skills. I was surprised to have that customer interaction at a Lifetime.

If you call to cancel your membership, they tell you that you either have to come in person or cancel online. I went online to cancel and got a notification that I can't cancel online and it lists a phone number to call for cancelation, which they said they don't do over the phone. This is the first time I've needed anything in the way of customer service and I have to say, it's sorely lacking.

If you are telling you are open until 12am, you must give your employee the capacity to enroll me within business hours. A gentleman offered me to give free pass for the day with his account bu front desk denied that as well. What a shame!

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. I visited the club with one day pass, and the polls and jacuzzis were closed due to an infection on the water. I called 2 days later to get the pass refunded or reassigned to a different location and one of the managers tried to tell me that I was lying, saying that closure was a day after my visit. How did I know that the pool and the Jacuzzi was closed when I only had one day pass??? On top of everything “The Manager” waned me to go in person for her to be able to look into this matter and stated that she was unable to do it over the phone. Life time do better! For one day pay?? Really you should had compensated me for the inconvenience with a 3 day pass now after one of your manager told me basically that I was a lier. Unacceptable.

I went to meet a long time friend at this location to train today. We don’t live close and this was middle ground. He currently has a lifetime membership and I am a past client from when I lived relatively close to one. I had planned to use one of his guest passes or purchase one if need be. After greeting the attendant and Informing them I need a guest pass they asked for my ID. Unfortunately my wallet was stolen or misplaced and I have yet to get into a DPS for a replacement. We were told no ID, no entry. I appreciate safety protocols, but mind you I’m a previous client so I have an account with my information that I can verify and a picture. I asked the attendant for a manager to seek more practical judgment, to my misfortune she was the manager. As a manager I would assume she can make a judgment call, especially considering I’m with a member and I past member myself. If I could give this customer service zero stars I would.

It’s a great and clean gym. My biggest complaint is people going into the sauna or steam room talking on their phone, yapping away to someone next to them or bringing a speaker into the sauna or steam room or playing something very loud on their phone. They need to put a big sign on the steam room and sauna door that says “respect others trying to relax.” Every time I go into the sauna there is always an idiot talking on the phone, talking very loud to the person next to them or playing something on their phone making the experience horrible. I’ve contemplated making my own sign to put up on the doors because it’s an occurrence every time I go.

I had the misfortune of joining Life Time, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Firstly, their so-called "guest policy" is a complete joke. I invited a friend to check out the gym with me, and they were immediately bombarded with pushy sales tactics. It felt like we were being harassed rather than welcomed.
To add insult to injury, Life Time has a knack for tacking on extra charges for every little thing. Want to use a towel? That'll be an additional fee. Need access to certain amenities? You guessed it, more money out of your pocket. It's like they're trying to nickel and dime their members at every turn.
But the cherry on top of this disastrous experience has been the abysmal customer service. The staff at Life Time are completely apathetic and unresponsive to any concerns or issues. I've tried reaching out multiple times, only to be met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration by avoiding Life Time at all costs. There are plenty of other gyms out there that actually value their members and provide a decent experience. Life Time is a prime example of how not to run a business.

If you are disabled or elderly this is the place for you!! Lifetime has a deal now where you can get FREE memberships if you have Medicare part A or B or have Medicare advantage through SS disability.
Bring your kids, splash around in the pool all day and the government will pay it all.
For those of us paying 159 per month, just remember our taxes go indirectly to pay these membership dues for those less fortunate.

The birthday parties, arranged by Regina, are top top. Love the Pilates program, in particular Kristen. I’ve been doing Pilates all my life and have learned so much from her in a short period of time, which has carried over to all my workouts. Top of the line trainer! Outdoor pool is awesome and there is currently karaoke on a Saturday. Kids swim program is also way above expectations! Lots more, come check it out. Really can’t beat services for price. In the past this place has really irritated me. However the family locker rooms are finally being locked for single adults and the kids center has GREATLY improved over the last 6 months. We just had a birthday party here and aside from the online form not going through, everything was so amazing. They took care of food and set up and clean up. They played games and hung out with the kids at the bounce house. It allowed the adults to relax a bit and chat and not worry about the kids as much. The price was reasonable since there was a bounce house and the gym was reserved. They really seem to enjoy the kids!

Frustrated. I just want transparency, and this gym doesn't have it. My husband and I joined solely to use the pickleball courts and occasionally the indoor pool. Come to find out that on top of the monthly membership fee of $180, you have to pay an additional $20 an hour to play, even when there is no one on the courts. I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. No one has to pay an additional $20 to play basketball or use the weights, and, to be quite honest, they shouldn't, as that's what the membership fee is for. If you're looking for price gouging, this is the gym for you. If you just want to play pickleball, find a new gym. It's just not worth it at Life Time.
Source: Google

I only come here for pickle ball and pay 180 a month. Even if the courts are empty, they make you pay an additional $20 PER hour! On top of my $180 a month? What's next 20 an hr, to play basketball? Absolutely, Ludacris. Would not be a problem if we were not approached mid game while nobody was waiting to play to caugh up the cash or get out. It's not about the $20 an hr really. It's the strict enforcement of keeping empty courts and forcing someone to pay when nobody had it reserved. To members that pay JUST to use pickleball. Lifetine loses $2,160 per year from us due to this unethical behavior.

I have been a LifeTime member for over 7yrs and have been to several locations. To be fair, other than the child center, this gym holds high standards to every level and Kim Biesel is a great GM.
It’s hard to keep track of every ramification inside a gym. For the most of it I love this location but if you plan on bringing your child be prepared for unpleasant surprises more often that you’d like.
Although some of the kids care takers are great you might notice them influenced by the total lack of commitment of their peers. The adm of kids academy isn’t in the best shape around here. Sadly

I have had a great experience here. My only complaint is that I wish there were more activities for kids throughout the day because my kids quickly lost interest when we would barely miss a planned activity.
Other than that I love the variety of adult classes, although my work schedule keeps me limited I feel like I'm getting a well balanced work out and learning a lot about form and how certain exercises are helping me.
I do wish all the classes were free but it isn't the end of the world for me since the ones I do are included in my membership.
If I ever get the confidence to go use the machines on the floor it'll be thanks to all of the amazing trainers and coaches teaching these classes.
To address some other reviews, I was given a thourough explanation of policies, especially in regards to membership fees. When I canceled my families memberships I wasn't surprised by the process.
It is pricey but I get my monies worth for the time I spend here.

Nice clean great environment but lack of free space. They recently added additional area for more squats rack but in doing that they replaced the stretching free weights area. There’s still a small stretching area by the stairs but it’s always overcrowded since it’s the only area now. I can never find a spot to stretch now. I either have to haul a mat and weights to any area that’s open by the treadmill or squat racks which is awkward since I’m the only one stretching there. But there’s not enough space to stretch in the designated free weights area. They also added a monkey bar area that has different pulleys. Which I can’t stretch there either since there a lot of foot traffic. If you like a peaceful area to stretch and do free weights like me this is not the gym. I used to love it here but now it’s hard to find space. Time to look for a new gym. Update 10.10.22: I’m still having a hard time finding a spot to stretch and do free weights. The small area designated to stretch got even smaller bc they added some stretch tables that can only be used by the staff if you want them to stretch you. Update 5.9.23: prices go up about $20 every 6 months fyi. I guess it’s ok if you have multiple ppl under your membership and you can split cost but it’s for one person it’s way too expensive now.

Great facility and classes, but the policies are terrible and the management was not friendly. It was almost the end of my first month and I went to cancel my membership as I am going on a work trip mid month for 4 weeks. They had already charged me and would not offer a refund or pro-rate. Until this moment, No one had disclosed to me that you have to have a 30 day notice to cancel membership or that it's charged on the 1st, not a month from when I signed up or that it's a 2 month minimum sign up. I have a road trip mid month and knew I only had a month to fully enjoy a membership, which I did for myself because I'm here helping my grandmother with Alzheimer's. The manger did not take responsibility for his staff not properly informing me of all the details and instead acted as if I was lying and as if the staff did tell me... that's called gaslighting, then proceeds to put it all on me for not reading ALL the fine print when signing up. The whole thing just feels gross honestly. I'm very disappointed with the lack of heart or customer care here. I had not budgeted for a second month plus I can't even fully enjoy it because I have a work trip. I would have signed up again in the future but after this experience I'm done. This extra stress could have easily been avoided.

They have an indoor water slide but most of the time it's not on. Even when the hours stays its on and there aren't many kids swimming, they refuse to turn it on. It's very disappointing for my kid when the hours and time don't match to what's actually going on at this locaton. I got this membership for myself and my child, but it seems that he can't enjoy the amenities that I'm paying for often. Very annoying!

Veronica overnight I believe that’s her name she was so helpful customer service a 10 out of 10 the reason I came back to sign up. However, Mason who was there when I actually did sign up absolutely terrible 0 customer service made me feel like I was going to be unsafe at the gym and with everything going on in the world today safety no matter where we go is very important. Overall love the gym but I believe Mason isn’t thee face of what this beautiful gym represents.

Their cancellation policy or putting the account on hold shows how much of money mongers that organization is. I wanted to put my account on hold for medical reasons I was told that I can’t do it over the phone and that I had to go in person to do it, with my knee surgery and walking in crutches I did only to hear them tell me I have to go online and submit a form. Just wasted my time and 2 weeks as I wasn’t physically able to. I submitted the form online and they still charged me full rate.
This company not only that they are extremely expensive but the way they treated me was ridiculous and insulting. So I called in to ask for a mgr they transferred me to Lane Wayne, let’s just say that was absolutely a waste of time as well. He emailed me a cancellation form so I can cancel my account completely. He said if I’m not happy with the way they do things then it’s up to me. Take it or leave kind of thing.

Gross. Outdated. Not worth the price. Going downhill. Full of people and packed. Go here if you aren’t serious about fitness and are okay with subpar conditions and throwing your money away. The cherry on top are the bad front desk girls who are standing around gossiping.
