Selina is AMAZING! I have tried many Trainers in the past and I have never been consistent. I’m not sure how she does it, but she has changed how I view the gym and working out. I’ve been working with Selina for about four weeks now and before then, we’d been discussing a fitness approach for about six months. I came to her as an individual with some trepidation about exercise, due to having had bad experiences with it before and being wary due to unexplained tachycardia. Before even taking me on or providing me a fitness assessment, much to my surprise and appreciation, Selina encouraged me to receive a medical clearance for my rapid heartbeat. This was such a relief and honestly made me trust her so much because I felt that my actual health was a priority and that Selina does NOT play around with that! I had expressed to her that I had been hesitant to begin an exercise program with a trainer because I was afraid I would be pushed too hard too fast. When there was a hold-up on my medical clearances, Selina continued to follow up with me, see where I was at, and whether I needed any guidance.
She provided me an assessment which included sitting down with me to discuss my goals, weighing me, taking measurements and explaining to me in detail what my exercise would be like as someone that had to follow a cardiologist recommendation for maximum heart rate.

Her gym is nicely equipped, always neat and clean. Her exercise routines always vary and she always has something new for you to try. She is patient, encouraging and always provides feedback, corrections on form, and positive encouragement! She also always provides modifications for me and provides me individualized feedback to be sure I am doing things correctly and staying under my heart rate limit.

Lastly, Selina is someone with a wealth of knowledge about not only fitness/health but also about life and it’s obstacles. Her advice/wisdom is something I will take along with me on not only my lifelong pursuit of fitness and health but also of happiness.

Give Selina a shot to help you with your fitness goals and you won’t regret it. She is doing life changing work.

I had left knee replacement in September 2019. I received physical therapy for two months after my surgery and at the end of my therapy, I was able to walk without a walker or cane. I was doing fine in the months after surgery but felt that I needed a good workout program to gain strength, flexibility, and endurance for my every day activities. A good friend told me about Selina. I started sessions with Selina in April 2021. Now in my 8th month I feel great. Selina is so patient and I’m able to perform all tasks per Selina’s direction, I would certainly recommend Selina to anyone in my age group - I’m 70 and feeling great - more strength and mobility than I can even imagine!!!

She was always very encouraging and is very knowledgeable about common musculoskeletal ailments and other disease processes so she can make sure that you get a great workout but also do it in the safest manner. I'm 36, pregnant with my first child and dealing with multiple autoimmune issues causing chronic pain. Without Selina, I don't think I would be thriving right now the way that I am! Prenatal, she helped me prepare my body to carry a baby... strengthening muscles and giving me the confidence that my body could manage this. Now that I'm pregnant, I've continued with my workout regimen. We meet via Zoom because of COVID and me being EXTRA cautious to protect the baby. She modifies things as my pregnancy progresses and always finds new ways to challenge me, preparing me for childbirth and motherhood. I'll definitely continue working with Selina AFTER the baby is here so I can be in the best physical shape for my child and myself (and losing some of this baby weight will be nice, too)! Forever grateful for Selina and her support throughout this journey... a journey that I feel so much more confident on and capable of because of her.

Selina is such a pro! She’s really great at what she does. I have multiple issues including herniated discs from a car accident. Her expertise really makes me feel safe and she knows how to help me adapt exercises to help me get the best results without exacerbating my injuries. Years ago, Selina was my weight loss counselor. Now she is my personal trainer and still helps me with nutrition. I can't imagine working with anyone else! I have private sessions at the end of my work days, and she helps me get rid of the physical and mental stresses I bring to the workout room. It's a journey, but I am committed to moving forward, and Selina is such a great motivator. She is certified, trained, and educated about how to help me achieve fitness. I have been with LIFT and Selina for almost a year. When I first started I was a mess! I have Lupus. My body was falling apart and I was tired all the time. She started me off with corrective exercises and has increased the intensity. I now have much more energy and my joint pain has diminished. I was looking to just keep my body moving and not get stuck like the "Tin Man." (LOL). She is very conscious of what my body can and can not do. She keeps the workouts tailored to me.
