Our granddaughter attends training at Maxxfit Training Center and she loves it. Antwon is a patient trainer who gives good directions and encouragement. Antwon listens and works well with our granddaughter. Maxxfit is a small gym but well stocked with equipment. The clientele seems to range from kids to older adults. This gym is for everyone.

Maxxfit is AWESOME!!! I have been with the program since it started and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The workouts are excellent. Some days are harder than others, but that's what makes it challenging and is helping me reach my fitness goals. All the Trainers really know what they're doing and modify the workouts if needed based on the individual. I have had the opportunity to be in more than one Trainer's class and even though they each have a different style their end result of the class all seems the same. To help me strengthen, condition, be fit and healthy. I definitely see it working! There are many exercises I can do now that I could not do when I started the program and it's very motivating to me. So to Mike, Mario, Ryan, Andre, Arturo and the rest of the Trainers I have not had the pleasure to be in your class yet. I say Thank you for your hard work and helping me reach my fitness goals. You guys ROCK!!!!

I can not recommend Mike Herna (Head Trainer) enough. I have been working with him for a little over a year. He is not the typical Golds Gym Trainer. He does an in-depth assessment, works with you on your goals and helps to keep you accountable. I have had a few injuries pop up (my own fault) and he completely works around them to keep me moving forward toward my goals. I actually look forward to my work outs. He makes the workouts fun and the time flys bye.

Fat? No problem. Skinny? Also no problem. Old, teen, newbie or low confidence? Perfect. Coach Michael Hrna can handle all of it and more. I started working with Mike in my 40s when perimenopause really started to screw up my body. Between that and old sports injuries, I was kind of a mess and decided to give training a shot. Mike was fantastic because not only could he handle the physical part -- working around my old injuries, he was also able to assist with my diet to help rev up my metabolism. This guy has so many certifications for so many valuable things he really is the guy to go to. When Covid hit and the kids were no longer allowed to do sports/PE I had Mike train them. My daughter was really quite lazy and my son had low confidence. Now years later, they are still able to utilize his workouts as young adults -- he really created a great baseline for them. I could go on and on but all you really need to know is Mike is the Trainer you want to work with.

I was looking for a trainer at the beginning of the year and after a few interviews I decided to work with Coach Michael. He communicated great and really wanted to learn more about my goals and help me achieve them. He's very knowledgeable and consistently tailored my workouts to my needs and injuries and can always answer any questions that I have about fitness, nutrition etc. Michael is very personable and the sessions are always fun while being productive and one of the things I really appreciate about him is that even though he knows what he's doing and is great at it, he is always trying to expand his knowledge and his clients experience by learning new methods and training and presenting and discussing these things with us. I've already had a lot of progress with Michael so far and would highly recommend him.

Michael is a one of a kind trainer/coach. I have been training with him for about 2 years. I have grown exponentially in muscle strength and body composition. He never stops challenging me! His knowledge and expertise have kept me injury free. Michael also became my run coach while training for my first marathon this year. He aided in dropping my mile times by over a minute+ per mile. HIGHLY recommend him! He truly is the best!

If you're looking for a coach who genuinely cares about his athletes, their progress and their overall well-being, Coach Mike is all that and more. I've trained with Coach Mike for 4+ years and he is by far in a league of his own being a top-tier coach. He knows how to work with athletes on so many different levels and brings the fun/hype always. I have had a few different injuries that Coach Mike has truly cared about working with me through to make sure I stayed moving to reach my goals, all while intent on trying to help keep me injury-free and in as little as pain as possible. Great gym, great equipment, even better trainers. What’s the value in state of the art equipment if the trainers don’t know how to implement them correctly on athletes seeking to perform at the highest level. Michael Hrna is by far the best trainer I’ve had, from teaching proper mechanics to fine tuning basic movements.
