MJ is AMAZING! She is an awesome instructor and very understanding. I was looking for a good pilates instructor because I did not want to go to a big studio knowing that I have a lot of injuries and not feeling comfortable with the care that I would get. When I found MJ I fell in love with her class. She has taught me sooo much this year. She told me my posture needed some work especially after a hip surgery that I had years ago and never realized how bad my posture was. I was also told that I have Spondylolisthesis about 3 years ago and MJ has definitely helped relieve the back pain. I recently got X-Rays and my chiropractor said that my posture has improved greatly and that my vertebrae has gone back about 1mm since I started pilates and that is a HUUUUGGGEEE improvement for me because I used to not be able to get up in the mornings and go to work at times. I definitely recommend her class. She is very knowledgeable and accommodates to your needs. I will ALWAYS recommend her class to everyone!

MJ Pilates truly changed my life!
I had never exercised in my entire life, so I didnโt even realize how misaligned and imbalanced my body had become over the years. After giving birth and entering my 40s, I began experiencing pain all over and felt drained of energy. Thatโs when I found MJ Pilates.
From my very first class, Mihee, the instructor, immediately recognized the problems in my posture and alignment just by observing me. She explained everything clearly and created a customized workout plan tailored to my body. Her deep knowledge of the anatomical structure of the body and her ability to apply that to each individualโs needs is something thatโs very rare to find in a Pilates instructor.
Iโve always had no muscle and often got injured whenever I tried to start exercising, so I was filled with anxiety and doubt. But Miheeโs professional and passionate approach gave me the confidence and trust I needed to sign up for a 10-session package right away.
Unlike many other Pilates studios, this place offers truly personalized instruction based on your bodyโs needs. Iโm incredibly grateful I found MJ Pilates before things got worse physically. Thanks to Miheeโs continuous support and passion, my posture and physical issues have been improving significantly, and I feel mentally healthier as well.
Today, I decided to sign up for 30 more sessions and leave this review because I hope it can help others like meโthose who havenโt exercised before, donโt know where to start, or feel too exhausted to try. Meeting Mihee was honestly a godsend. Sheโs genuinely caring and puts her whole heart into every single minute of the session.
Iโm now looking forward to the future with excitement and high hopes.

As a 36 year old male who wasn't initially a huge fan of Pilates (i prefer more intense exercises), my wife convinced me to come due to various issues with my body (bad posture, stiff everywhere, no inner core strength). She told me it would benefit me. So I obliged and I don't regret it one bit. Teacher MJ is an awesome teacher who really cares about her students and really does her best to help you. I am very glad I gave pilates a shot, as a middle-aged male and I already feel the benefits from her pilates classes, both physically and mentally. I highly recommend giving her private classes a shot, especially if you are a male, pilates isnt only for women. Also, she pushes you hard, i feel like I am in a bootcamp type of work-out, and you do end up sweating a lot, surprisingly (at least for me).

I had neglected my physical fitness for quite some time-until I began experiencing pain in my neck and shoulders, along with noticeable imbalance in my posture.
I tried chiropractic care, which offered temporary relief, but I knew I needed a long-term solution.
My sister suggested finding a good Pilates instructor to help correct my posture and strengthen my core.
After researching several studios, I came across MJ Pilates. Her reviews stood out, and I had a strong feeling she was the teacher I was looking for.
I started with 10 private sessions (twice a week) with MJ. From the very first session, I was impressed. She began by carefully evaluating my posture and then tailored each exercise to meet my specific needs. What struck me most was how much she genuinely cares about her
students' well-being. She is not only knowledgeable and skilled, but also incredibly enthusiastic, warm, and full of positive energy!
After the initial 10 sessions, I signed up for another 10โand now I'm looking to increase my sessions to more than twice a week. I can truly feel the changes in my body. I'm standing taller, moving with more awareness, and my pain has significantly decreased. Most importantly, l've developed a deeper interest in Pilates and in taking care of my body long-term.
Just like many of her students who've experienced the life-changing benefits of practicing with MJ, I can confidently say: if you're looking for a dedicated, passionate, and knowledgeable Pilates instructor, MJ is the one.

I started seeing MJ at 26 weeks pregnant because I was struggling with intense rib painโso bad that I couldnโt stay up and active for a full day. From the first session, MJ was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive. I asked if we could focus on a more personalized training plan to help both with the pain and to prepare me for labor, and she immediately said yes and adapted everything to my needs.
Now Iโm 31 weeks pregnant, and just today I was telling my husband how the pain went away so gradually and naturally that I hadnโt even noticedโitโs actually been gone for weeks. I feel so much better physically, and mentally too. And at this point in my pregnancy, I thought the pain would be worse, but honestly, itโs barely there. Even when Iโm tired or having a rough day, I still look forward to our sessions because I always leave feeling stronger, lighter, and more at ease.
MJ is more than just a great Pilates instructorโ she brings such a calm, thoughtful presence to every session. She really understands my body and its limits, she guides me with care and adapts exercises to my strength while always encouraging and supporting me through each one. She makes me feel safe, supported, and confident in my own progress.

This is an update to my initial review. I have now completed 22 pilates lessons, I go three times/week.
I have seen an increase in my flexibility, posture, strength and core, I have a marked improvement in my physical structure.
The pilates lessons are challenging for me, yet the lessons are fun . I always look forward to the next lesson as I know it will be enjoyable.
With each lesson it is obvious to me that I made a great decision the day that I inquired about pilates lessons with MJ.
I would give her a 6+ star rating if I could. I have attached a few pictures from today. I know I am still intermediate/beginner, yet 22 lessons ago these
pictures would have been difficult for this 77 year old guy.

I am a 77 yo male who ventured into Pilates for the first time. I was seeking a studio offering private instruction and close to Windsong Ranch. I found MJ Pilates in early April 2025. After my initial lesson I was eager to continue. MJ is encouraging, enthusiastic and always provides positive comments regardless of my performance. Iโve been taking private lessons at MJ Pilates with Meehee for about three months now, and itโs been an amazing experience. Since I work at an office and sit all day, my body had become really stiff โ but Pilates with Meehee has really helped improve my posture and build the strength I was missing.

I quit pilates 10 years ago and decided to start again. It was a really lucky and excellent choice to go to MJ Pilates. Meehee is more energetic than any other instructor I've ever met, and she always takes care of her members with a bright smile and a warm heart. After finishing the intense training that combines classic pilates and modern pilates, I feel a sense of accomplishment and happiness because I finished the exercise. Doing Pilates with teacher Mihee for past few years, I recovered so much and became healthier again. I started to do some private lessons in the beginning and she taught not only the basic postures but alternate posture options customized for my physical condition. Then, I joined the morning group session that had a lots of positive energy and full of caring. That was all coming from teacher's energetic mindset and her warm heart. It was the energy source to go to her class every morning to gain the healthy life again in both physically and mentally. I am grateful that I could learn from her because she taught me how to correctly use my muscles and remind myself when I do it everyday. I am sure she will do the same at her new place and she have all my support! โค๏ธ I miss her encouragements and energetic cues!
