We offer both children and adult men/women martial arts classes. We start at all ability levels, from beginner to advanced, to help you learn karate and fitness. Students can participate in Houston-area karate tournaments. Sixth Degree Black Belt Sensei Alex Ndem is a former member of the USA Shotokan National Karate Team and two time Karate world champion. He’s also the founder of the Olympic Karate and Sports Center Houston. He’s been practicing martial arts for more than 25 years, with nearly 20 years of instructional experience. Sensei Alex is a certified personal trainer and confirmed instructional master of Karate. He has a degree in physical education.

Nice people. However, the kids quit being a member but the Auto pay credit card kept on charging us. We called them but said call the cc agency to stop charging, and the latter sent us back to this Karate class to inform them to cancel our membership. It seems that they do not want to refund us. They were in this class when they were in Pre school, and stopped when in Elementary. Now they are in college and no refund was given. . It’s been years and kept promising us. We were charged for almost a year.
I told them that they wanted us to advertise this Class, but how can we when they did not even refund us?
I went there for a refund, we needed the money because our bro- in - law passed away.
They charged you when you have late payments ( never been late due to auto pay ) but for the refund? Oh my! What kind of business is this? We are in America.
Please return our money back to us. God is watching.

Good people here, the adult class has a mix of people new to Shotokan and those returning after a few years away. Sensei Alex has taught me physical and mental aspects of the sport which I'm still learning, I have developed in self discipline and strength....the classes are also fun! You will feel welcome here.

I have been training here for 9 months. I was specially looking for a school to learn WKF style Sparring. What I found was more than I could imagine. Sensei Alex is genuine and take time to help with your technique. Additionally, he is an World Renown Kumite Champion, so what you are learning from him are techniques that work. I was also looking for a place to train that had other students at my skill level and age, I am 30 at the time of this post and he has several students training for what I am training for.
If you are looking start karate, improve karate, get a good work out, teach your kids discipline, then seriously this is the school for you.
