I love Pearland Strength Club! They truly stand by their motto of “strength for everyone”. PSC is a welcoming environment aiming to meet clients where they are, and help them reach their goals. The semi-private strength training option is great for building a community while building strength. I cannot recommend this gym enough!

Training with Jess is not like any trainer led experience I have had. She does not push you past limits that could cause harm to your body. She tailors workouts to your own body limits therefore, better results. Jess is not a cookie cutter fitness trainer, every workout is with YOUR body in mind and your goals. Also, she is the most down to earth trainer, no intimidation you might have with other fitness experts where you feel inadequate. I immediately felt comfortable with her. The best compliment I ever received after I had been training with Jess for some time was being told I looked strong.

Pearland Strength Club offers a personal experience that you cant find at a corporate gym. It’s smaller yet has a robust range of equipment, weights and extras that will allow you to experience the fullness of your workouts and training sessions! I’m so excited for this gym to grow and to become the newest club in the area to offer exactly what I’m looking for, which isn’t cross fit!!! I want to weight train, and strength train and I can’t give enough props to the trainers here that are personable and relatable and make you feel welcome : )

I've been working out with Jessica for 10 months, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her. She is hands down the best trainer I’ve EVER had! She's patient, understanding, non-judgmental, and incredibly skilled. I can totally be myself around her, and she truly met me where I was at.

You can tell she’s passionate about what she does and deeply educated in her field. That was important to me because I had some injuries and needed someone who could help me get stronger without causing further harm. Jessica was exactly that person and I'm so thankful she was recommend to me.

Jess at Pearland Strength Club is amazing!
I’ve worked with personal trainers at big box gyms and honestly had not great experiences, so was weary about working with a personal trainer again, but Jess came highly recommended from family. I started working with Jess 1.5 years ago after I had my son. She was able to tailor my workouts to my postpartum body and helped me strengthen my core and pelvic floor! I had been doing some workouts at home, but once I began working with her I noticed a drastic difference in my pelvic floor and a net positive change in my body composition. Now that I’m almost 3 years postpartum my workouts are now more focused on strengthening my back and core to help protect me at work (nurse). Jess is one of the most knowledgeable trainers I have encountered and really listens to her clients and what their bodies are saying. So excited she has opened her own gym, worth the extra 10 minute drive!

The entire facility is spotless – it is kept very clean, which I really appreciate. The machines are all in excellent condition and clearly well-maintained, so I never have to worry about anything being out of order.

What really sets this gym apart, though, is the owner. She is super knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help you improve your form or adjust your regimen to meet your goals, the guidance is top-notch.

I can’t say enough great things about this gym! The trainers here are truly top-notch — knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about what they do. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of lifting experience, they take the time to understand your goals and tailor your workouts accordingly. Their focus on proper form and technique makes a huge difference and really sets them apart from other gyms.

Another standout feature is how clean and well-maintained the facility is. The equipment is always in excellent condition, the floors and machines are spotless, and there’s a clear commitment to hygiene throughout the space. It’s not only motivating to work out here, but it also feels safe and welcoming.

I have been working with Jess Velarde for almost a year and have seen significant benefit in my strength and general well-being. Jess is highly knowledgeable and organized. She has written plans for every session, but she listens to all my comments and adjusts the exercises based on my feedback.
