Making changes to your health, whether it's weight loss, increasing flexibility, or gaining muscle, is hard. Creating permanent habits is something that many people struggle with. One key is to reduce the amount of friction between you and your goal or new habit. Meal planning can be annoying, and the world of health and fitness can be daunting. There are many potential pitfalls you can fall into—moments that can steal your motivation. To reduce this friction, you need people to help you, people who know what they're doing and have the experience to guide you toward your goals.

I started working with Curtis about a year ago, and I am down 140 lbs! I was able to achieve this because Curtis had the knowledge to support me on my fitness journey.

Curtis once told me that while many people focus on losing weight, what excites him more is improving other health markers. He focuses on getting you stronger and faster; weight loss naturally follows, but his vision is more holistic. Curtis is great, and I would strongly recommend working with him!

Curtis is terrific person and an excellent coach - I have known him for over 30 years and frequently work with him one-on-one for customized strength training and mobility. I even trust him with my children - this summer I sent my 18yo boy and 16yo girl to Curtis to not only stay active but to also develop a baseline knowledge around form and proper weight training. They love working with him as he is very flexible and user friendly but still gets the job done.

I’ve trained with Curtis for 4 1/2 years. He is an outstanding trainer who develops custom workouts for each individual client. I have range-of-motion issues and his personalized workouts have enabled me to become much stronger. We focus on weight training, flexibility and core strength exercises. He both challenges and encourages me to be the best I can be.

He is very flexible and allows for in-person as well as Zoom sessions. If your goal is to be as strong and healthy as you can possibly be, then Curtis is the trainer for you.

I met Curtis Long almost 8 years ago when he was training at our local gym, and it was life changing. I became inspired by weight training during our private sessions and loved experiencing the results of strength, flexibility and improved mobility. I trust Curtis implicitly, and I was able to push myself safely to experience growth in my workout routine (and build muscle) for the first time in my adult life - which was amazing. Then through the pandemic, my husband and I both worked with Curtis during online training sessions. He remained accessible and it was so enormously helpful and beneficial for maintaining our fitness levels and overall well being during those difficult times. Curtis is expert at designing programs that fit the needs of each person - no matter the age, fitness level, etc. He is extremely reliable, professional, and approaches accommodating schedules with ease and a great attitude. I have maintained an enormous amount of respect for Curtis' vast knowledge in all areas of fitness techniques and routines, in addition to the dedication that he has for his own fitness regime. I am grateful to call him a mentor, friend, and he is a wonderful human being. Anyone who has the great fortune to train with Curtis in person or virtually is very, very lucky!

Took an opportunity to complete a free month with Curtis.
Excellent experience.

Curtis knows his stuff, is a great motivator and has clear plans and ideas that are driven by your needs and situation. Starts off slow and eases you in but really tries to get to the bottom of your goals and what drives them to ensure there is a link that keeps the drive high.
Always came away from his 1-2-1 sessions feeling good and motivated to carry on the journey.
