Can't even enjoy a workout at planet fitness with badly trained employees. who don't know what a gym bag is compared to a string carry bag which they're equipment is designed to hold. I never carry my gym bag because of their pathetic rules. Who ever owns planet fitness needs to get out of his office and realize he opened a "gym". Train your employees to recognize a gym bag and be trained in the machines they have in the "gym". Some of us are In a hurry and work long shifts to be dealing with unnecessary nonsense. If string bags weren't meant to be hung you're equipment wouldn't be equipped with hooks for them. I Carry accessories I need to complete my workouts and my bottle water. Judgement free zone this is not.

Had to wait for the hydro beds @3871 Stagg Dr #166, Beaumont, TX 77701 Staff was using the beds for an extended period and when finally done did not wipe anything down. Huge violation! Grimey staff and gym. I walked out.

This Planet Fitness location constantly violates its own policy and insurance requirements by allowing people with slip-on shows and minors to work out. I'm sure their insurance underwriters will be thrilled to find out they don't have to pay out to the company for when an inevitable incident occurs.

Im very disappointed in the staff at the stagg dr location. Im now aware of the rule about taking phone calls on the gym floor, but how he approached me about it was very rude and aggressive. And then the manager was very unapproachable and blew me off. He did not care at all. In conclusion i made them cancel my membership.

Since I started at Planet Fitness, I look forward to beginning each day there, the staff and other people working out are super friendly, the facilities are clean, and the equipment is easy to use. I also never have to wait a long time to use the other amenities that come with Black Card Membership, so that is another plus. I tried Crunch fitness before coming here, and Planet Fitness just makes you feel welcome and excited about working out.

The manager here is literally the worst. He will follow you around and just keep harassing you. You cannot use the yellow section without him harassing you that you are not following the rules even when no one is in the area working out. I have a small backpack I carry my phone and car keys in and he kept harassing me about it even tho I had it hanging on the hook on the machine. I will not be coming to this planet fitness anymore. I do not recommend this place! This is not even the first time he has followed me and my bf around.

So why are we paying full price for a gym we can't use. Half the gym has been covered up and non usable for a while and they said it's because of a wall. And I shouldn't have to drive across town to use the other gym. Second, I caught one of your staff vaping in the office. Lastly, staff and management are awful. My husband couldn't find his keys and when we asked the desk, we found them and two people literally jumped in front of the keys and acted like we were stupid while they said there were no keys and kept blocking our view of them. Maybe it's time to switch gyms.

Equipment is clean because nobody really uses it, no free-weight bars is disappointing because the linear tracks on the existing bars don't represent real movements at all, and staff chewed me out and almost kicked me out for merely having 250 on a smith machine squatting it, citing "gymtimidation" when I was literally just minding my owm business all in the 40 minutes that I was there. I don't like that the lockers are out of sight and behind about 4-5 corners in the bathroom which just begs for stuff to get stolen. It's like these people don't want you to get a real workout in cause they'll stop you from having a water container that's "too big". There's better gyms for the same price tbh. Great if you like to walk on a treadmill though 👍🏾

Great gym, new updated equipment,helpful staff and clean environment. My 4 star rating is based on the TV's that when connected there is a static clicking sound every 4 seconds. It happens with every tv station and it's not my ear buds because they worked fine at the other location. I have mentioned the issue but nothing was resolved. There could be more cleaning stations since you have to walk a distance to clean a machine before someone else jumps on it. Other than those draw backs it's a great gym and location.

I have to take medicine for a medical condition that I have so I have to keep the medication with me at all times … I never had any issues with the staff dealing with a small gym bag that I keep with me “close” at all times. The day shift manager with pink hair seems to think that absolutely no “excuse” is good enough after two days worth of harassing me in the gym about my bag he offers to call the cops on me and have me removed. Also the second day he was in street clothes out of uniform, off the clock trying to remove me. When I asked for contact information for a manager over him he tells me that I don’t dictate what he needs to do for me and of course when I asked his name he didn’t comply with giving it to me. He told me that someone would call me!

I’m an gym rat I’ve been to gyms in over 20 states and 65 cities. In believe me when I said the employees at this planet fitness are among the most argumentative I am right people I’ve ever seen in my life maybe it’s because they had to be here at 5am in the morning although other gyms are 24 hours an hour some of the things they say is some of the things they do make them a constant irritant if I wasn’t a member I wouldn’t join and if I lived in the city I would cancel. Believe me I’m all for doing your job with these people just take it to a new level ultimately I’m here to exercise not to be chastise and irritated by you

My husband and I are black card members and Switched to this location after getting tired of the un-professionalism, attitudes and unfriendly staff at the other location (already spoken with someone higher up who took care of the issue). However even with the matter being taken care of, we no longer wanted to use the other location. I am absolutely LOVING the new location. Awesome staff, everything is clean, every time I’m there I see the staff cleaning. The staff is always welcoming and sweet, with smiles on their faces almost every time I am there. Hands down 5 stars!
