Why can't this facility be 24 hours? I feel like Belton has less crime than the surrounding cities and it would thrive being open at night. I prefer this gym over Crunch or any of the others but 10pm is usually when my schedule allows for me to go in.

Good clean gym. Staff is nice and is always there to say hello and goodbye. There really is no judgement here and it's really an environment where you don't have to worry about anyone bothering you because they're there for the same reasons you are. You get the occasional staring creep but that's not the gym's fault. I did minus one star because I absolutely hate their hours. 8 pm on a weekend?! I'm not expecting 24 hours but 8 pm seems so early. We have found ourselves having to drive all the way to Heights because they are open 24 hours. It would be nice if they could turn two of the tanning rooms into a sauna, then this place would be absolutely perfect beyond measure.

The new equipment update at this location is amazing! The weight machines are new/updated to provide better range of motion/physical results, and the additional number of weight machines has been so helpful- I don't feel like I'm waiting around/wasting my time, or needing to change my workout plans because there is always someone using the machine I need. What a horrible rude gym
The one time I stop at the Belton location because I normally go to the Georgetown Planet Fitness religiously because I am a full-time property manager at an apartment Complex and I really just wanted to stop and do A little bit of cardio because I was having some anxiety this morning , and I’m overdue four days for nonpayment, which I’m making my payment tomorrow. I just thought it was so rude For a representative of your company to not have any kind of heart or compassion for a customer. I think that people of your company should take Mental health into consideration when turning someone down For nonpayment when it was only four days I just think it’s so rude And it’s embarrassing I’m very sleepy this morning and I wanted to get some cardio in before driving all the way to Georgetown to help me wake up a little!
It’s just upsetting.

Updated 12 FEB 2024: Things have improved. The staff on hand now is reliable and keeps the facility clean and stocked with cleaning supplies for wiping down the equipment. The hours are improving, but still not a 24 hour fitness club as when I first joined. Was set to cancel my membership, but PF announced they would extend the hours, which just meets my schedule needs. Hovering at 3 stars while I wait to see how this goes. So far so good.... Older: Unless you are retired, don't bother. Has not been a 24/7 gym for a ling time now, and the new hours are even more restrictive. Canceling my membership because Planet Fitness is cramming everyone in during fewer hours going into the flu and cold season with COVID surging in the news. Hard to get access to equipment I prefer, and then forced into vety close proximity to access the free weights. "It's just allergies" is code for I'm sick as a dog. SEP 2023 - Living review: Reviews are meant to be updated, and Im shocked how quickly Planet Fitness is alienating its customers. When I joined Planet Fitness it was a 24 hour gym. Begining after Labor Day the gym now closes before I can get there. Some staff members are very diligent and others not so much. I've come in more than a few times and cleaning items for wiping down the equipment after use are out of stock, but the employees are playing on their phones, or catch, or anything other than ensuring the gym is clean. I've dropped my rating from 5 of 5 stars to 3. As the gym is "nice", but for the same dollars I can access a 24 hour gym that is better maintained. Please note that in July I just reaffirmed 5 of 5 stars, so the drop is dramatic. Latest Update 22 JUL 2023: PF remains a nice place to exercise and get fit. No change to being a well maintained and clean environment. Update: The Summer time promotion to allow high school aged minors to use the gym for free is a boon for Planet Fitness, but a disaster for current members. Social hour for students is alive and well, and it would be far less of a problem if they did not camp out on the equipment and play with their phones. Belton does not offer a lot of activities during the evenings for students, so it is understandable they would flock to any location that welcomes them. Probably, Planet Fitness should have put a limit on the hours or better check the ages, as the gym has become a baby-sitting service for unsupervised minors who have yet to reach high school. This all may sound like "get off my lawn" rhetoric while wearing sandals and black socks, but to those who pay for a membership, it is definitely being devalued when others can use the same equipment for free.

If you get there at a peak hour, it can be tough to get a bench or the desired free weights for your workout. If you prefer cardiovascular activities, there is ample equipment. The equipment/machines provides a safer exercise experience for older Americans, and those getting started or returning to physical strength exercises. As an older American, I am able to get in a workout that meets my energy level and guards against injury, while my son can readily work through a circuit of exercises on the machines. It is only when I want to focus on exercises where I need a bench, that I have to try and avoid peak hour visits.

My experience at this planet fitness has been excellent. I am new to the gym and was worried that it would be intimidating. It has not been at all and it is incredibly user friendly and great for newcomers. The pricing also cannot be beat as you can have the top tier membership and it's still under $40 a month. All of the machines have qr codes that can be scanned for more info, they have tons of treadmills and even quite a few tanning beds. The employees are also very friendly and they always speak to you when you first walk in.

I have been a member at planet fitness for years. After covid most gyms stopped doing 24/7. Alot went to 24/5 closing at 10 on Saturday and Sunday. However the belton tx location is now open 5 to 10 Monday through Friday and close at 7 on Saturday and Sunday. Im not sure why this is even close to acceptable. Why am i paying for a 24/7 Gym that i can never use. Working retail this time of year is crazy hours so most days i can't make it before they close. If you are going to cut your hours you need to cut your price too. Maybe stop giving all the free memberships out during the summer, not sure why i have to continue to pay and have the aggravation of working around groups of teenagers with no respect. Keep this up and all of your members are going to crunch since they are a 24/7 gym....

My husband attempted to transfer my active membership to his name today. I moved to Miami, FL last year and have not used the membership more than once (maybe twice?) since then - my automatic monthly payment from our joint bank account notwithstanding.

The staff regurgitated a knee-jerk "that's not our policy" agitprop and between three people were unable to solve for a simple name change on the account.

My husband cancelled the membership altogether out of (understandable) frustration. Imagine my own irritation when I learned "their policy" is not to pro-rate the fee but to charge for the entire month - apparently to add insult to injury?

We are thoroughly disappointed in Planet Fitness. To think I even considered transferring my membership to a location in Miami! - I suspect that would have been too difficult a task, or worse, "not their policy."

The best thing about the Planet Fitness Gym at Belton TX is that the facilities are always serviceable and clean.
Another EXTREMELY important feature is that the ALL the personnel that work there are ALWAYS courteous and professional.

The Trainer [BIANCA] is incredibly competent and approachable. I have NEVER seen ANYONE love her Job more.
She helps everyone, she shares her knowledge in such a wa yh that makes you want to keep trying to improve.

I predict that once the word gets out, on how good She is MANY more people will be signing up to be members.

PF score a 100 when they hired Her to assist their customers.

What I like about PF services is that its relatively close to where I live and the Temple PF is close to where I work. Your facilities are an example of a one shop stop. There's space for warming up, a good amount of easy to use workout equipment for getting a specific body part workout, and there's plenty of cardio machines available. Plus on my off days I can get a hydro massage as well as keeping an even tan. Then of course there's the locker rooms that have lots of locker space for personal belonging during my workout. Best of all, I don't have to go anywhere in my workout clothes due to the on property showers. That's what I like about your services.

Fantastic gym with great equipment and nice staff. The only complaint I have is this location has yet to return to pre pandemic hours. Planet Fitness locations in surrounding cities have returned to 24 hour service. I work the night shift so I run on a nocturnal schedule and would prefer to work out at night on the nights I don’t work.
