Probably the smallest Planet Fitness I have been too. It's the closest to my home but I'll start to drive into Corsicana now. We have people using equipment for over a half an hour while talking on the phone. At this point they might need to put a time limit on using equipment because I had to leave after 33 mins. I'm sure she took longer. Don't be rude other people would like to workout too. (Lady on smith machine)

The gym shower in the men’s locker room has a busted shower that has been busted for at least a month now. It has a steady leak/ stream coming out of the shower head. I’m not sure why management is neglectful but it shows.

The parking is extremely limited since it’s a shared lot with HEB. Other than that, it’s a good place to work out.

The staff are very friendly. The facility is very well kept and organized. Maranda is very knowledgeable with the equipment and will go out of her way to demonstrate how a gym equipment is used. Massage beds/chairs and tanning beds are a plus to the black card membership.

I have been in Ennis for two years. I wanted to give this gym a try but what a waste of time and effort. To start off Ennis is growing yet this gym has no amenities for Mom‘s or other working individuals. Other gyms have saunas, daycares and more to accommodate working moms and more amenities for the same price. Where is the Zumba? Where are the classes. I was told conflicting information about membership prices by the “manager” Emily and another associate dark hair and lashes at the front desk.

Beware of their “no contact” lie, currently there is a contract commitment and if you break it within 12 months there will be a substantial fee to pay.
I was also told membership to sign up on a new contract as of March 2024 would be over $80 bucks plus taxes. WHAT HAPPENED TO $10 bucks a month?. I was also told it would be 19.99 to join. No consistency whatsoever with Emily and the other young ladies.

I was hesitant to sign up due to obvious reasons but I went ahead and paid for a trial run. $30 bucks! What happened to trying out the gym for free to see if it’s a good fit? Needless to say I tried it for you guys and the verdict is out…*DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY* if you’re a single working parent or enjoy classes for the same price as Fitness Connection or any other up to date gym.

They also have The stipulations based on the type of membership purchased just another way to rob you blind and not offer anything. To have access to the three rooms behind the counter you have to have a black card membership. Those rooms are just Tanning booths, a machine that shakes you for 10 minutes, and water massage chairs. Those basic non exciting amenities should come with all tier packages. It’s quite hilarious how they squeeze every penny out of you for the BARE MINIMUM in this economy.

They can get away with this bcuz Ennis needs another gym. There is literally no competition for MILES. The closest gym with a sauna and classes is 30+ miles. Since Ennis is growing I pray for a better gym with better customer service and a cohesive staff.

In the meantime, I’ll keep my money and work out at Rotary Park or Lions - at least there’s a lake and beautiful view. 😀

I agree with Reviewer Sal, but do you really need much training to say Hello to your customers. Absolutely Love Planet Fitness in Cleburne. Most welcoming staff, best ladies locker room, and equipment. Guess I got spoiled in Cleburne because No other planet fitness compares that I’ve been too. Not Ft. Worth, not Cedar Hill ( they are welcoming tho ) not Lancaster, ( they are welcoming, too) definitely not Ennis ( walked in today, not busy, 2 ladies behind the counter not busy and no one speaks or seemed too enthusiastic to check me in) . My membership is up and seriously considering not renewing since I moved and can’t get to Cleburne. Thanks Cleburne, keep up the good work. 😎

I used to enjoy this gym...then I saw on a news story that a trans man went into the women's locker area in a different PF not in Texas....I asked one of the staff members at the Ennis location about this and was told that their policy is, if a man says he identifies as a woman that they "had" to let him use the women's locker area....Now I don't care if a man wants to call himself a woman or wants to play dress up....but I certainly AM NOT going to pretend with him...I terminated my membership....And I really enjoyed working out there...but I cannot patronize a place that would allow this to happen.....I have a daughter and three granddaughters, and I know what i would do if I saw a man go into a restroom or locker area where they were at...and it's not a good thing...

Usually great. However, today when I arrived the men’s bathroom was closed due to “woman cleaning in restroom”. No problem I’ll just lift a bit and then use the restroom. Fast forward over an hour later and still closed. When I asked the girl at the front desk if I could just go in and pee she told me no. So women free to take care of their human functions but not the men. We can just hold it. She could’ve just poked her head in and pulled her coworker out while I used the restroom. Lazy is the new culture 🤙🏼

Be sure to check your account after cancellation. You may end up being charged after cancellation as I was. I’ve had to file a dispute after cancellation (cancelled before the 26th). They didn’t charge me in March, but decided to charge me for April.

The fitness club is pretty cool. However they make it extremely difficult to cancel. You all should offer the option for memberships to be cancelled online.

It was stated that you all want something in writing. This is very old fashioned and this policy needs to be updated. People don’t necessarily have time to come to the club to cancel. I signed up online, I should be able to cancel online.

As a member who has never been to the Ennis, Tx. Location, I walked in the doors and was ignored. Absolutely no greeting what so ever. The two employees of different nationality stood talking to each other behind the counter as I stood there looking at them. I did say hello several times and they both glanced at me, but went back to talking as if they did not hear me. They were talking about some sort of drinks they buy from another store. They continued to ignore my presence. They then walked away without a word to me. Since I was there for a very long time I decided to just leave. However, as I was about to turn around and walk out when the girl came back out to the front and said to me in a snide way,"Oh, did you need help? You could have said something." Excuse you little girl, you and that guy purposefully ignored me and you do not talk to customer in that manner. Definitely was a racist thing. Will not recommend this location to anyone. Obviously, "No Judgements" does not apply to this location.

Seven people behind the counter and not one told me bye. Only two people that work there are nice to me. I have the black card and had it since January and I'm too insecure to ask the staff to do the hydro massage after my workout because they seem so unwelcoming. The first time I ever did the massage I didn't know it was only for 10min, so I asked the girl with dirty blond hair if I could do it again and she sighed and seemed so annoyed but let me. From then on I knew not to ask her if she was working. Might change my membership or look into other gyms because I don't feel like I've done anything for them to treat me that way. I'm nice and I always wipe my machines.. for a "judgement free zone" I feel VERY judged. I guess it only applies if you don't look like me..

The reason I only gave 2 stars is not the staff or the facility but the policy and procedures for cancelation. I was charged the 2023 yearly fee on the 28th of February canceled my membership on 3/1 they won't refund for a year I won't be using the facility. Laid back environment with a lot of cardio equipment and limited free weights (it's a smaller size club). The club is also very clean and the front desk staff is pretty friendly. Unfortunately it's not 24/7 so if you tend to go later in the evening you'll see more young folks (teens/young adults) lifting so it's hard to get a decent rotation in a timely manner (however the cardio area is not busy at all at night). When I went around 7 in the morning there was very few people lifting and a few more in the cardio area (so mornings are ideal if you want to complete your workout in a timely manner). I get up every morning Monday-Friday at 5am to workout and every morning the lady that works there is always polite and in a good mood. I love how friendly the staff is. Everyone greets you no matter what time you go to the gym. The facility is clean and it’s an overall personal experience. Planet Fitness is the true definition of judgement free zone. I can workout in peace and whenever I want to see how crowded it is, I can easily access the app and look at the crowd meter. I always have an inviting experience and it make my workout a breeze.
