I am a member here and wanted to bring up an ongoing concern regarding one of the overnight staff member(nick). On several occasions I have requested assistance with normal gym amenities, but this staff member has either ignored my requests, responded with hostility, or refused to help.

For example, I recently, in September, i informed him that a walkie talkie was not working and asked for assistance up front, but he dismissed my request and returned to the bathroom for an extended period of time. After I followed up again, he questioned why I was “following him” rather than helping with the issue. This kind of interaction makes me feel uncomfortable as a paying member, and it has been a recurring pattern.

Tonight something similar happened I was waiting for a bit after asking for help on the walkie. I decided to go to the locker room to collect my stuff and he was in there so I asked for some help. He just ignored me and ran into my feet with the janitors broom.

These are juat a few Instances tho. Probably about 2 or 3 more have happened

He is typically in the mens bathroom for extended periods every shift by the way.

The other night staff members and day staff members are always very polite and attentive, not to mention prompt
Im not sure of her name. The blonde female was actually working out one day there while he worked his normal shift, she went out of her way to guide/help some other gym members while they waited for a bit and he never showed.

I would appreciate if management could address this situation so that I can continue to use the facility without unnecessary conflict.

I really enjoy this gym. The staff are friendly and make the experience more enjoyable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the number of members that don't wipe down the equipment after use and the number of members that sit on the equipment on their phones. I have noticed an increase with this happening and I hope the staff will somehow come up with a way to enforce the rules. I realize I will probably need to talk to the manager.

I enjoy everything about this gym. Except im not sure anymore. I lost my car keys and they were never returned or found. A couple of men search with me. We also looked in the trash. Someone had to have pick them up. I am very disappointed that someone did not return my keys. Im not sure about going to planet fitness gyms anymore

The gym is clean and professional, but I moved to South Austin, and they wouldn't allow me to transfer my basic membership there without joining all over again and paying the upfront fees. So instead, I canceled and decided to go with Gold's Gym, which is only a few blocks away from me, rather than start all over again with Planet Fitness, 1 mile in the other direction. It's too bad because I did love the gym.

This gym is one of the cleanest gyms I've been to. I had the lovely pleasure of working with the assistant manager who not only made my experience comforting, but she answered the million questions I had to ask to make sure I knew what I was signing up for. Extremely Disappointed – Racist and Unprofessional Behavior

I’ve been a Planet Fitness member for over a year and never expected this kind of experience. An assistant manager named Leticia used racist language, told me to “go back to your country if you don’t know how to read,” and cursed at me just for asking a question. When I tried to record the interaction, she threatened to call the police. Completely unacceptable and goes against everything Planet Fitness claims to stand for. Hope they review the cameras and take action.

This location is always packed. You can never get on any equipment because people just sit on their phones “resting” between sets for ten minutes. I changed my membership to a location twenty minutes farther from my house and I still finish my workouts and am home faster.

Chris and Nick have amazing customer service .But unfortunately the management team and most of the other employees have very nasty attitudes and should not be working in customer service.You can't even put your beverage down or they will throw it away.I only come to this gym for the close proximity from my job.The manager specifically with the tattoos on her legs in super short shorts has the worst attitude.She has literally tried to avoid me or completely ignore me when speaking altogether.The tall African American gentleman is even worse and should not be allowed to speak to customers.That guy is always trying to pick a fight with customers trying to act tough and super passive aggressive. He also trys to ignore any friendly conversation.Other than these two problematic employees every other employee is great and friendly.

The staff at Planet Fitness are amazing!! They are personable and go out of their way to recognize you and greet you. Even when they are crowded and busy, they are superstars!! The gym is maintained and always clean. The clients are so respectful of the space and the equipment. I have to say as a mom we are just at that point where we could finally enjoy the gym as a family.
I have two boys who are eager to get in shape and being their fitness journey. The other day they were challenging each other on the elliptical machines. Totally normal between brothers, right? How can I tell you this staff is amazing? I wasn’t at the gym when this incident occurred but got a call from my husband immediately. When I arrived the staff at Planet Fitness including Leticia and Jacky were completely on top of the situation. They were calm and reassuring to me and the curious crowd working out at the time. More than anything I was thankful the staff did everything to make sure my family was safe. As a parent I find that so wonderful knowing they actually care about their clients when accidents happen. This could have been anyone, but it was my family and it was amazing to have a group of employees go the extra mile during a difficult situation. Service means so much to me and these employees are 5 star and above. We started at the gym over Spring Break and I’ve been impressed with their outstanding performance since day one. I’m thankful to know they have such an incredible work ethic no matter the situation. Thank you Planet Fitness Georgetown ❤️

The location, staff, and overall facility are fantastic! The environment is welcoming and the team is always friendly and helpful. However, after attending consistently for over a month, I’ve noticed a persistent issue with the cleanliness of the women’s restrooms—they haven’t appeared to be properly cleaned or maintained during this time, regardless of which staff members are on duty.

Additionally, it’s concerning how often members neglect to wipe down equipment after use. This is something that really needs more consistent enforcement to maintain hygiene standards and respect for all gym users.With that said, the facility can benefit from assigning additional staff per shift, opposed to just one team member.

With a bit more attention to these areas, this place could easily be a 5-star facility.

I recently decided to do the 30 minute workout every other day which is in the room with the red and green lights. They have a sign saying it's being monitored by staff. The second time I tried to use it, men were sitting on the equipment looking at their phones. I tried to explain to them they needed to rotate around but was ignored so I went to the front desk. One little girl was working behind the desk. I explained to her what was happening. She tried to explain to them how the room was supposed to be used. One man threatened to cancel his membership. It was a very frustrating experience.

This is the shadiest business of all time. Now that my contract is over they want me to pay the annual fee for the next year in order to cancel my contract that is already fulfilled. There's rarely a wait to get on weight equipment I've shown up to use. Because of that, I can get a good workout in in typically 45 minutes. Longer workouts usually are completed in an hour to hour-and-a-quarter. I'm more familiar with the night staff and see both Nick and Rusty as solid staff and diligent workers. They represent Planet Fitness well. They're on different ends of a career and work life. Rusty's experience at a management level for fitness facilities may be the most extensive at the Georgetown location. Both are good at engaging with customers to make them feel welcome. The nuts-and-bolts work doing clean-up is something both also apply themselves to. I like the setup of the facility and the staff I've interacted with.

If you want to tan then this is a very easy convienient and fast place to go. Whether its stand up tan or lay down. Now if your a pro @tanning then i recomend you dont go to a gym . You will be dissapointed with the cleaniness [ but im not saying its dirty ] no.but for example YOU have to wipe the bed down BEFORE you get in. Like its like a drive thru.

Had a good experience for months here, but sometimes one interaction can sour you. Had kind of a unique issue with my membership and unfortunately had to talk with the assistant manager Leticia.

Initially the manager complained about my bag pack. I was told it was not allowed, I respected that and then few months in they said a lot of people are complaining at the gym (he reiterated, so many people) sounded like everyone was focusing on me and the weights as he claimed that I slammed their weights. I feel like they could have just simply said I am not welcome here for whatever reason not try to claim that a lot of people are complaining about me slamming the weights. Anyways, time to move on. I would give a zero of possible. If you don't mind getting ripped off with their shady billing processes. I cancelled my daughters membership and then they charged an annual fee days after. An annual fee for a another year that she will not be a member for. And when they say no contract in their sales pitch, they still require you to pay a hefty fee stop your membership. Deceitful practices. My membership fees are collected in advance every month, so when I cancel that should be it. Apparently Planet fitness can do what they want if you give them your account and routing info, so good luck to those of you living paycheck to paycheck.

....Not sure how to respond to the business's response, so I am editing this. I would like to say to everyone, who do you think I reached out to? I went through your customer service phone line because the employee neglected to tell me when I cancelled that I may receive charges even after cancelation. Moved to Texas and found PF by luck. The Georgetown facility is great. The staff is always happy and they clean continuously. There's a great mix of us older folks and plenty of younger people working out. We go midday and there are many people working out. ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS GYM. Such poor customer service. I always felt uncomfortable especially when going in the morning.
I signed up after a year ago and canceled after a year and they still charged me the $70 something annual fee.
Someone reached out and offered to sign up for free and my first month to be free. I rejoined and neither of those things happened. I joined the cheapest membership so I could cancel whenever without the extra fees. I canceled today and had to pay $60 plus to cancel. And than the lady at the front desk told me she is still going to charge me for next month since it's the end of their billing cycle.
If you want to be out +$130 than join this gym. Rude staff, creepy and judgemental people at this location. Never EVER coming back here.

Warning to women. You will feel unsafe here. There were these creepy lewd men staring at me and making comments in Spanish and I knew some of the vulgar words they used as they laughed. In the woman's changing room, there was a transgender male. I spoke to the GM and he said, they have a strict nondiscrimination policy that aligns a member's gender identity and they can use the changing room and they are a "No Judgment Free Zone."

Horrible place, staff is disrespectful and entirely unhelpful. Manager has a very bad attitude and is completely disorganized. Attempted to cancel membership multiple times but was still charged every month since. Sent 3 letters in total over 6 months and had to get them on the phone to cancel my membership even though their policy is to send a letter or show up in person, which is difficult when you have moved 4 hours away. Still can not get a refund and the manager doesn't even have access to cancelation documents past 3 weeks ago according to her own words.

You can't beat Planet Fitness for what you get for the price. This location is I large and on the newer side. It usually has machines open even when it's busy. I've noticed that in the older stair steppers can squeeze your toes a little if you step a little too far forward and these don't do that. The bulbs are good in the machines and they keep it very clean. The Leander location is a little on the older side and a little busier. I will mention the staff here has one person in particular that probably shouldn't work in customer service as she has been condescending on several different occasions for no reason at all. For the price you'd pay at some tanning places for one session you can can get a whole month of EVERYTHING including the ability to jump around to different locations so I'm not complaining. I can deal with a little unprovoked rudeness for that, no problem.

I really like this gym; it’s very clean and not too busy. It seems a lot of just normal non-judgmental people go and everyone avoids eye contact, which is perfect. I really wish I could give this 4.5 stars because I think it’s better than 4 but not quite as good as 5 stars.
My only complaints are:
1. I do frequently have to wait to use the red light sauna, so I wish they had more than one room. I really love it. I’ve noticed a big difference in reduced soreness and elevated mood when I use it in conjunction with a vibrating plate. At first, I couldn’t figure out why I was so much happier leaving the gym. I know they say exercise increases dopamine, etc, but I’ve never noticed a change in mood when working out before I started using it. I thought maybe it was a fluke the first few times and then finally I googled benefits of red light and sure enough it’s used to treat anxiety and depression. I don’t consider myself anxious or depressed person, however, maybe I was. Regardless, I’m a lot happier since I started using it.
2. One other complaint is I really like the 30 minute circuit, but every time I use it there is someone in there who just sits on one piece of equipment through 3-5 rotations, disregarding when they are supposed to change. This isn’t the gyms fault of course, however it would be nice if they could post some sort of bigger sign stating change stations on red. I’m not sure if people aren’t aware of the rules or don’t care. However I think another sign underscoring the purpose of the red and green lights would be nice, because the one with the rules is easy to miss unless you’re looking for it.

These may be picky things, which is why I wish I could give 4.5 stars. All in all it’s a great gym.

The equipment is modern, clean, and in great shape. The atmosphere seems very good overall. Guests ranged mostly from being in moderately good shape to appearing healthy in excellent shape. There aren't a lot of Gold's Gym type serious lifters working on body building for competition, which can be intimidating. It's a welcoming atmosphere overall.

My Georgetown, Texas Planet Fitness is my favorite out of all other PF’s I’ve been too.The staff is friendly and the gym and all the amenities are fantastic. Clean, neat and organized. 💜
