I love this new location. I transfered here over a month ago. The gym is always clean. They have more of a variety of equipment compared to the prevuous gum i belonged to. The overnight staff is more than friendly. Just feels like home in the middle of the night

I start back coming to this location and I'm really start to hate that I did I have a bad knee from falling off a ladder so in order for me to go upstairs to get away from the crowd that's downstairs on the days that they're really busy I can't use the elevator because it is out I was told by one of the managers to give him 2 months at least two months to get it fixed doing the time that I come in there there's always a crowd downstairs and depending on what day it is it's always a lot of young people like they're hanging out some working out some or not just standing around in the last time I was there they had about six young people only about 2 was working out and the others were standing around talking loud causing the scene wrestling horse playing around people that's trying to work out I eventually end up leaving because I don't understand how no one that works there seeiing this and didn't stopped it and with all the people that there on a day that they are super busy it's like the gym has poor circulation therefore it's like a locker room smell with everyone in their sweating because they're working out the people that work here are really nice and I'm not sure what they can do able people coming to Hangout and not work out if anything if they have a membership or if a friend brought them I'm not sure if there's anything they can do about that but that would be my only complaint like I just started back working out and I like to use this location as one of my locations to come to so this will be my only complaint even though the gym has an upstairs and downstairs all the weights that everyone wants to use are downstairs so it makes the gym extremely crowded on certain days that they're really busy

This place has some really awesome workout gear, seriously top-notch stuff. I'm a huge fan of their subscription plans too, they're super convenient. I'm thinking about changing gyms because the floors in almost all of Planet Fitness's locations are super dirty and dusty, and the machines are missing parts, which makes it difficult to do the exercises. Some of the equipment is worn and torn, and the stretching mats are smelly, old, and dirty. I no longer recommend this gym.

The gym staff is very welcoming, helpful, and informative especially the night staff. Mani never fails to greet everyone who comes in with a friendly tone to set the mood.! The gym is fairly clean but the showers are always cold, you have to run 3 showers at once to warm the water up… as well as the water fountain being Luke warm, never cold… I enjoy the massage chairs and the hydro massage bed the most, especially after a long day at work.

I recently started to go to planet fitness. I come in late at night and always get a good workout in, but it’s thanks to the night shift guy named Mani, he greets everyone that walks in and has a very good and friendly vibe. He is always willing to help serve others, answer any questions, or just have a friendly conversation. I never really thought about going to planet fitness but I have tried out many gyms and planet fitness was next on my list. Now that I am here and have a community, all thanks to Mani, I have found my gym home and excited to continue to grow friendships and connections! While doing all these I will be getting a good workout in, while feeling like I belong.

Been coming for years. All is great EXCEPT for their AC in the summer! As many members as this location has; manager n staff should not just say that the AC has to be gradually turned up.. they know their peak hours with the most bodies in at a time! If they need to fix or update their AC units, THEN THEY SHOULD especially with all the members they have. It gets nasty warm in this gym... it's dissapointing. They need to fix that asap, especially here with TX summers

I’m extremely disappointed and upset with my experience at this location. I was harassed and discriminated against by the assistant manager, Brianna, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was unfairly banned over an alleged balance from 5–6 years ago, despite the fact that I’ve had a current, active membership for nearly 2 years with no issues.

To make matters worse, I was humiliated and escorted out by the police, which was completely unnecessary and beyond disrespectful. The situation was handled in a way that was not only unethical but also humiliating and deeply unprofessional.

I will be contacting corporate regarding this incident. No paying member should ever be treated like this. Avoid this location if you value respect and professionalism.

Buyer beware, everything made go smooth at first but if you ever try to cancel your membership you're in for a big surprise. I've been trying to cancel for a year now. It started when I got hurt at work and had to take some time off I froze my membership, they unfroze it before I was ready and started taking money back out of my account again. when I called them they acted like they were just as surprised, and gave me a bunch of smoke. Someone told me about this before I joined I should have listened. It's a nightmare, it's like trying to get money from the IRS, it's not going to happen. They will lie to you over and over, they tell you that you can't cancel your membership over the phone or online. You have to come down to the gym. And do it in person, what if I just had two knee surgeries and I can't come down there you're still going to continue to Bill me. They deserve less than one star for this. It's crooked and it's shameful. Stop taking money out of my account planet Fitness cancel my membership.

Great equipment. Would like to see a pull up bar like other gyms in the area. Showers are hit and miss as far as whether you will find them clean on any given night. I included pics from a recent visit. Most of this was cleaned up the following night, but new garbage soon took its place. Showers are usually dirty. Only one of four usually gives hot water.

Idk but for some reson the male employees think it’s okay to come in the females locker rooms for any reason they feel is necessary. I feel like i have to keep looking at the door to see if it’s a male that’s coming in! First the front desk guy came in to to tell someone something which could’ve waited until she came out because what if the other women were naked! Then the maintenance guy! This is a great location. The best in the area. One day,I arrived early and I saw how a man called " Seadrek" or Seadrik, was coming out from ladies bathroom. The floor, showers,toilets with full toilet paper.I was amazed by the way he cleaned it. Perfectly neat and smells so good.They are very friendly and always welcome to everyone. The trainer, Emilio, gave me a personalized routine. I strongly recommend this location. I'm happy to be here.

This has been by far the best gym! I myself and my husband have been here for about 5 days now on our weight loss and weight gain journey! I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had such a bad experience like today. I brought my boyfriend as my guess since I have the black card yesterday and they took a picture of him and let us in. Today we went did the same thing, scanned him in as my guess and Gio had the nerve to not less us in due to the fact that he had a balance on an old account. They should’ve let us in because he was my black card guess. We had a prior bad experience about 3 weeks ago with Gio as well. He definitely was being racist to my boyfriend and was picking on him and not figuring something. They won’t work anything with you here so there’s no need to talk to them. They clearly want to push their members away. Don’t come here they will pick on certain people and are racists. He was going to pay the balance but they were pressing him about it and on top of that added more fees after one of the managers had waived his account for this month. They had no reason to do this!

This location has the most unwelcoming staff in the entire dfw (the worker gio). I’m not a native in Grand Prairie but if you want the staff to antagonize you about your account go right ahead and come to this location . I have been targeted since my first time stepping into the location weeks ago specifically this worker gio has a ego trip w me everytime I come to check in it’s almost like he wants the throw up at the sight of me there was a time where I had a balance and he was super rude and snobby about it and I paid it no big deal right ? This location is usually nice and pleasant and clean but last night while working out on the stair master I Over Heard 2 workers arguing with members the workers seem to be the ones antagonizing from what I gathered & heard as a guest I felt uncomfortable I felt as if the workers wanted to get physical with the member Thank God the member was the bigger person in the situation Latisha was very rude and unprofessional she used nasty language and I even heard her insult the member at the counter body I was in disbelief there was a brief back & fourth between the two but I could not believe how nasty & unprofessional Latisha and her coworkers was to this lady who did her best to keep calm and Latisha even told her “She Can Get Out “ if the lady did not leave I would have felt the need to step in
