The energy in here is awful. People are rude and act like it’s their own personal gym. They camp out on a single machine for 15–20 minutes and won’t let anyone work in- even inthe circuit training area. It’s ridiculous🤮

It's good. Lots of choices for pin-selected machines. Like all of the other PF, way too many cardio machines, but they have a good selection of free weights and Smith machines.

It's not the cleanest PF I've been to throughout the country . The equipment and floor around them need to be tidied up; a lot of dirt/dust gathered along edges and corners, and a lot of the paper towel spools were empty, even in the women's locker room.

This location has minimum amenities and not a great black card experience. I traveled to the East coast and the difference was night and day! I went to locations that felt like high dollar spas. I'd give this one a C because employees are nice...that's where it ends.
Update: I did let them know that my reasons for coming here are to tan and for the hydromassage. The hydromassage chairs are always broken...again today, and only 1 of the others are working. Canceling my membership. I can work out anywhere.

I just got back into going to the gym after years and I really enjoy Going here.

I do wish that planet fitness had a sauna. That would really make this place even better.

My only complaint is they have a ton of cardio machines like treadmills, but sometimes they only have one or two other machines that people like to hog. I know it’s not planet fitness is problem but some of the people that go there sit on their phones on the machines and it’s annoying because sometimes there’s only a few machines of these certain types.

I do like the place, has everything I need but the only complaint that I have is it never opens on time. When it say 5 am on weekends, I would expect it to be open. I do have work over the weekend from 7 am to 7 pm and it's a 30 min drive to get to the closest gym so I have a schedule that I set based on the time that I see online. Its really frustrating when I could just be at home sleeping knowing that they don't open when they say they're open. My time is limited and only revolves around the time they give us. It's 5:20 am and still waiting. So don't expect them to be opening at 5 am anytime soon which I won't know cause now I'm going back to bed.

Honestly disappointed. Rusted out ceiling, water leaks. Ac dosent work well. Missing handle equipment for the cable towers. Equipment with faulty resistance (i can do 70 lb bicep curls on the machine without any effort at all?? Please.) Dosent have the equipment most pf have updated to (hacksquat, preacher curl, etc.) And the machine they do have are very unsecured and rough. It's dangerous to have cables that don't have smooth resistance, somebody can get hurt when it yanks.

Every pf gets the complaint of being all treadmills and no weights but this is a whole new level. Seriously less than 1/4th of the gym is weights/machines

It tripped me out the first couple times here cause I spent many weekend nights at Hastings in this building in the 90s blowing my allowance lol! New machines are nice. Membership is affordable, and the staff at the front desk are usually helpful when asked—but consistent issues with maintenance and cleanliness hold it back. Popular machines are often out of order for extended periods, and basic supplies like paper towels and sanitizer are rarely stocked without asking. Parking can be tricky due to poor lighting and one-way lanes. With more proactive management and attention to daily operations, this location could offer a much better experience.

First time to this location and I was really disappointed. Every other club I’ve been to has evidence of constant cleaning. The machines here are dirty with lots of dust and dirt, the tanning bed (room 2) didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned (glass and under the glass) and the bathroom trash was overflowing everywhere. Manager really needs to do something here.

What do I think about that place well I joined their club and the girl gave me a free month membership I use my card they when I had an overdraft my account and I think the manager is a bad person they told me they were going to refund my money back and they didn't and they lied to me so I won't ever go back there again and some Planet fitnesses are not clean either they don't even clean the bathrooms or the showers and I think it's disgusting and taking advantage of people who are on disability it's not nice of them to play games like that with people that's just my opinion the manager should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of me like that

It's a real shame when a company takes advantage of people just to make sure they reach their sales goal. My friend, who is mentally challenged was taken advantage of by Sid Robinson at the Greenville, TX PF. They never set up his account correctly, but they charged him a full membership charge because they did not set up his account correctly. This caused his account to become overdrawn; and flat out lied to both him and me, and refused to credit back the fraudulent charge.

This was the worst PF I have ever had to deal with and we will be canceling our mebership, filling a complaint with PF Corporate, and leaving this review on as many sites as available.

The womens locker/bathroom only has ONE WORKING electrical outlet. There are two giant mirrors on either side of eachother, only 1 mirror has 2 outlets and ONLY 1 OF THOSE OUTLETS WORK... So I am now at work with wet hair... I did inform the attendant at the front desk and asked him to put in a maintenance request but he did not make any moves towards the computer to do so. If this isn't fixed within the week then at the end of the month I will be canceling my membership to give another gym a try.

This Planet Fitness location is well-maintained and offers a good variety of machines to meet most workout needs. False Advertising and Dismal Customer Service

Planet Fitness advertises a "cancel anytime" policy, but my experience was the exact opposite. I attempted to cancel my membership twice in 2023 at my local branch, yet the charges continued. When I contacted phone support and checked the website, I was told only the specific location could handle cancellations, adding unnecessary complications to what should have been a straightforward process.

After being charged for another year of a membership I hadn’t used in two years, I returned to the location, only to hear an astonishing response from a staff member. They speculated that another employee may have faked the previous cancellation. This lack of professionalism and accountability left me speechless.

When I finally emailed the store to address the situation, their reply was curt and dismissive—essentially telling me to "drop it" because the membership was now canceled. This response only added insult to injury, showing no acknowledgment of the time and money I had wasted due to their mishandling.

It took two years of paying for a service I didn’t use before my membership was finally canceled. While Planet Fitness may be known for its affordability, their deceptive cancellation policy, unprofessional staff, and dismissive customer service make it impossible for me to recommend them. Think twice before signing up.

Staff defended roided out 50 year old couple after taking equipment, screaming cussing, threatening to “take things outside”, continuously getting into this kid’s face (couldn’t have been older than 18) causing a huge scene because the kid stepped away for a couple minutes to get water and look in the mirror, then asked for the older guy to put the machine back to how it was before he used it, since the boy’s items were there and had been using the machine for the past 15+ minutes. I stood by watching the whole thing unfold in disbelief after having a nice conversation with the boy. Kid took it like a champ but still negatively reflects the gym’s ability to put their foot down on violence in the gym. I don’t think people like that should be given passes due to their loyalty at said gym, (the man has apparently attended this gym for years consistently)

It's dirtier than ever with the worst layout and machines since opening. They got rid of the only low-impact cardio machines for people with an average or larger stride. Less floor space for stretching and calisthenics than ever. When I asked the manager where to file a complaint he told me they just come to him anyway.. #davechapelleiamthemanagerlol so.. Here we are. :( I've been a customer from the beginning having referred so many people here. This is the worst Planet Fitness we have been to. Surprised corporate hasn't been here due to the reputational risk..

It's to cold in there all the time. Last time I was in there it felt like 60 degrees. I had to push myself even harder to break a sweat. I'm in there to lose weight and get in shape not to be comfortable I can do that at home I'm not joking that air conditioning is on full blast even on cold weather days. I'm in Rockwall Planet Fitness and the temperature is just right and they have better leg machines and there's more than one uniral. I give Rockwall a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A total stranger approaches me rudely this morning accusing me of doing something I wasn't doing. He wasn't wearing planet fitness attire, he wasn't on the clock, and didn't tell me he was the manager until after he charged me up with false accusations of 'slamming the weights down'. Then he double & tripled down after I was trying to back away from the conversation telling him I wasn't trying to and didn't do this, however he kept going on and on. Finally I had to put my headphones back on and let the interrogation end. This is totally unacceptable. The manager needs to work on his customer service skills and not treat adults as children.

I used to like this place. They now will let fellow customers take up more than 1 station at a time, if you ask for help from the front desk they won't do anything and will allow the person taking up two spots to repeatedly insult you without consequence.

Good workouts, friendly staff, everyone sticks to themselves and that's amazing for a good workout routine. Certain times of day are PACKED, other times are dead. I absolutely love going when there's no one, and just doing my own thing. I see everyone here, people losing weight, people getting strong, people older, people who are literally children, everyone is welcome, no one is judging and it's just a great atmosphere. The Black card with them is amazing as well for the spa area, really nice way to end a good sweat.

I've been going to this gym for years. Great place. Great price. Everyone is nice, friendly, & helpful.

However, some constructive criticisms of a faithful PF member:

Needs more Smith machines. Or there should be a sign that says "No lollygagging"?

They just updated the cardio equipment but they beep constantly, which is complete torture.

The bathrooms are not attended to very often. Can we get handles back please?

It takes quite a while to get the machines repaired. Which makes me sad. My calves especially.

The check in desk should have a walk-in scanning area so we don't overwhelm the staff or interrupt membership onboarding.
