This place is a complete joke! Save your money and time — don’t bother coming here. There are always 3–4 employees hanging out at the front desk doing nothing but talking to each other. They don’t acknowledge anyone or offer help.

The place is dirty — walls and vents covered in dust, mirrors never cleaned, and the massage chairs are always broken. The staff pretends to stay busy but does absolutely nothing. On top of that, they’re rude and act like customers are a bother.

Go somewhere that actually cares about cleanliness, service, and working equipment — this place clearly doesn’t!

I thought camp Bowie location was rough..this location takes the cake as the worst planet fitness location I’ve ever been to. The workers are hiding in the black card room, there’s trash everywhere, the bathroom showers are nasty the curtains are covered in film and pop off and to top it off the showers do not work (except the first). The rest of the gym is normal so can’t go down that much.

I live in the same neighborhood as this Planet's Fitness. And I'm also a black card member.
Unfortunately, I have to drive all the way across town to alliance to use their facility. Denton highway location never changes the bulbs on the sun Channing beds. I have been doing this for over a year now. Recently I gave Denton Highway, another chance. Went in the standing up bed at full-time. Didn't even turn me pink. A couple days later, I went to the Alliance location and got a sunburn LOL
There is a big difference in the light bulbs. A gin highway half of them are burned out and the rest of them are damaged at the ends.
It is all so filthy look like having been swept or mopped in weeks.

This gym is hardly ever really that busy as far as the gym itself. There clean bathrooms could be upgraded more compared to other locations but the thing that really bothers me is that after 10 pm the parking lot gets pretty sketchy. I mean just tonight there is three cars parked w guys sitting in the car w sun visors on blocking their windshield but parked w the windows down? It’s just a little creepy and doesn’t feel safe not to mention one of the vehicles that was out there tonight is this white van that is always out ive seen it during the day as well, w all the windows covered, sometimes the van is on sometimes it’s not. I don’t get why they would allow this. It’s a gym not a rest stop.

Their membership is a contract. Planet Fitness charges your account annually even though you havent been working out at the gym for months. You do not have a choice unless you pay them $80 to close your account. Yall have been stealing money from me every month I havent worked out and then auto renew every year. The worst gym membership you can get. Once you sign up, you are trapped and have to pay to cancel your contract! Most better gyms dont operate like that. And they never auto renew your membership every year. Planet Fitness is a scam! Im going to bite the bullet, take the loss, and never join Planet Fitness again. I will discourage friends and family from getting a membership at Plsnet Fitness!

Don’t waste your time at this gym worst in dfw!
The equipment is not well maintained for their black card members Hydro massage machines constantly broken. They need replaced all 3 hydro massage machines are broken, zero machines working in the whole gym.
I have been six times and not been able to use them not coming to this gym anymore, thinking of canceling membership altogether.

I've been going to Planet Fitness for years and never had any issues until now with this one in Haltom City. This will probably be my last time going to this one. For starters I'm a singer so sometimes when I workout I sing as well to exercise my vocal chords because they too are a muscle. I usually workout at the Planet Fitness on Lancaster in Fort Worth as well as the one off Trail Lake Dr in Southwest Fort Worth and I've never gotten any complaints. I get here and the employee I think his name is David is the only one by far to complain about me singing. On top of that the bathrooms are not well kept from the stalls to the showers. Yeah it just ruins the whole experience. I won't ever come back here.

This location is the least busiest of the few PF that I go to so it’s worth the longer drive for me. I think the gym could be cleaner, most machines always have paper towels on them and around them... I wipe the machines before and after I use them because 90% of the time no one else is wiping.

Equipment is great and staff is friendly and welcoming but showers are dirty & the water does not get hot 😔 I also wish they would switch the type of paper towels provided to clean down equipment after use. I actually really like this gym. The equipment is well maintained. I am giving two starts because the men’s bathroom is disgusting. And it always is. I’ve been going here for a year. There is also only one functional bathroom stall. The handicap stall has been missing a door for many months. This may be an issue with ADA for that reason. Many others have commented the same here and someone with planet fitness keeps replying saying the patrons should contact someone else. Seems they could better spend the time replying on google by forwarding the concern to the necessary person! I am not on staff at planet fitness and I’m not doing your job. Fix the bathroom this isn’t rocket science!

Dropping my 4 star to a 2 star because the bathroom door in the men's bathroom has been broken since December and nothing has been done to address or fix it.

I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for 4+ years now. I travel across the country for work so have been to many different locations but this is the first one I've felt compelled enough to leave negative feedback on. While there are definitely some positives, there are a few things that need serious attention. The cleanliness of the men’s locker room/bathroom is far below what any members deserve — it feels neglected. There are only two stalls and one has been a missing stall door since December 2024. It’s April 2025 next week and it’s still not fixed, which is simply unacceptable. Locker doors are always broken and/or missing, it constantly smells horrible, and don’t even think about trying to showerthere, unless you have a hazmat suit handy to protect yourself from the mold.

That said, the staff are mostly genuinely friendly and helpful, which is probably the one thing that keeps me coming back. The equipment is also consistently in working order, which I appreciate.

If they could just take care of the basic maintenance and cleanliness, this gym would be a much better experience overall.

This planet fitness is lackadaisical. There are only 2 toilet stalls in the mens' bathroom one of thems door has been broken since December and it's still unfixed up until now. Also one of the hand driers is not working.
The majority of the staff are courteous though.
I just read a response from Planet fitness who asvised I ask the branch manager for an eta on fixing the door. Unsure as to why I have to be the one to do this?!

Very nice gym, got in a good workout, and then headed to showers to find out the water was only Luke warm. During the winter months, I think most people, myself included, would prefer a much warmer or even hot shower. Luke warm showers are for the summer months, other than shower temp. I enjoyed that facility.

There is always plenty of open equipment and the price is hard to beat. They do charge a yearly membership fee as well but it's still way less than I've paid at other gyms and the facility and staff are phenomenal.

The cardio and strength training equipment is well maintained and replaced every few years so everything is in tip top shape. Being open 24 hours is great too. This is definitely the best Planet Fitness location that I've been to.

I’ve tried for 3 months to get a membership with planet fitness. Management really needs training and communication skills. I was a previous member with planet fitness. The thing is I never left a card on file. I always did pay in full for 18 months plan at
$10 a month. However, I recently was informed that the plans have changed. The basic plan is now $15. They no longer have a 18 month plan, only a 12 month plan. I was like okay, then I would like to do the 12 month plan and pay in full for basic. The employee stated that the amount will be $302.00 for the 12 months plan. I asked him to break that amount down as it wasn’t adding up. He couldn’t explain the Amount. So I did the math for him, in front of him… 12 months at $15 is $180. Plus $1 start up fee, plus $49 annual fee is $230. Plus taxes of roughly $19. The amount should be roughly be $250. I asked if there were any other fees and was told no. I was told they would have to get with a manager or regional manager. I left my name and number and waiting for call back. When I did get a call back I was told I had 2 options. I could pay $247.00 and had to leave a card on file, or pay $302.00 in cash and not leave a card on file. But that the monthly plan I would get is $20.00 a month. The $20 plan doesn’t exist online or anywhere that I search. They couldn’t provide where that plan exist at either. This is some shady business

I have been in contact with management at this location. I have been respectful and clear in what I was needing help on. They all have no knowledge or understanding or answers.

The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. The classes are fun and one heck of a workout.The trainer keeps class interesting and I have seen nice progress from these classes. This facility is one of the cleanest gym I have been too. The management is the best management I have seen in the two years that I have been a member.

I took an upper body class and a stretch class with Gill and he was amazing. He truly has a passion for fitness and it shows. He has a very motivating personality. I can’t wait to take another class with the guy. When I was there there was a mother daughter duo that had been going to him for 4 months and the mom looked amazing for her age! Her arms are goals. Gil made me enjoyed being back in the gym. Thanks Gil.

I work out at this location Monday through Friday, from 4am to 6am. This location has gone down hill very fast. They just got some new equipment yesterday, but that doesn’t make up for the locker room. The Young man that works that shift is never doing any cleaning duties, he’s either sitting down on his phone or working out himself. We continuously have to ask him to refill the paper towel machines on the floor along with the spray bottles. Now the most important part is the locker room(mens) the shower curtains are always full of mildew and the curtain rods are always falling off due the brackets not being secured properly. The floor is always full of thrash and hair, the stalls are always dirty and most of the time out of TP. If I was this franchise owner, I’d make a visit to the location. Luckily there is another PF is Saginaw 10 minutes away, today when I left the haltom location and arrived at the Saginaw location I saw other patrons that left because of the cleanliness of the haltom city location.

Wow I went in today and this guy Tim was so super knowledgeable about the sign in app as well as other ways to work my fitness schedule into the my every day life . There weren't any paper towels to clean the equipment with, no one at the front desk was very friendly. I told the girl behind the desk it was my first time there and she didn't acknowledge that or try to explain anything to me. I bought a combination lock and it took 5 minutes just to be checked out. This is my favorite Planet in the Fort Worth area as I've been traveling and here for the last few weeks.
