I had a very disappointing experience with my training appointment at this location. I arrived early, but the trainer made me wait an extra 15 minutes because she was still working out. When we finally started, she didn’t ask me anything about my goals, issues, or what I was looking to learn. I told her I wanted help using the weights, but she just had me do the 30-minute circuit — something I already do all the time.

Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and the entire session felt like a waste of time. I left without learning anything I actually needed help with. Planet Fitness usually has great service, but this experience really missed the mark.

The gym is always clean, has plenty of functioning equipment, and the staff have all been friendly and kind. What more could you want? My planet fitness hits all the check marks for what I want in a gym. I did notice new gym equipment that was added and that was a pleasant surprise and has been incorporated into my workout. Functioning equipment is a huge upside. I'm not sure if the clients are careful with the equipment or staff maintains everything, but I appreciate it. I recommend the OST location

I truly appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Planet Fitness on Scott. From the moment you walk in, you're always greeted with a smile—no matter how busy it is at the front desk. The location is incredibly convenient, and unlike other Planet Fitness gyms I’ve been to, it never feels overcrowded, which makes for a much more enjoyable workout experience.

I’d also like to give special recognition to Grace. She consistently goes above and beyond to make members feel valued. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism stand out every time I see her. Excellent customer service all around!

The atmosphere here is fantastic! The front desk team is incredibly attentive, greeting every guest as they arrive. You can tell they genuinely enjoy their work, always making you feel welcome and never bothered by any questions. The gym is spotless, and even during peak hours, it's never overcrowded. I’m hoping it stays that way throughout the New Year! Regardless, I’ll definitely be back to continue my fitness journey.

Coming from a PF in ATX (where I'm from) compared to this PF in 3rd ward (where I now live) there's nothing but beautiful good looking women of color. Customer service is great. It's never too crowded on most of my visits but everyone has a different definition of crowded.

Oh I was worried about my car being broken into but so far so good, no break-ins, yet. Highly recommend

Well I am old school and have been fitness training since 1976 when nothing like Planet Fitness existed. There was only Nautilus, 21 Century and later Presidents First Lady. Well as time goes on it certainly changes things and introduces new creations and replacements. I started at 24hr Fitness Centers in 2009 and was very fond of them because they were accessible 24 hours but then Planet Fitness built a new center in my neighborhood and I learned it was open 24 hours so I canceled my subscription to 24hr Fitness Center and joined Planet Fitness which is walking distance from my home. I visited this location in the morning and was disappointed with the cleanliness.
The locker rooms, showers, and restrooms had a noticeable odor, and the floors and stalls were not well-maintained.
A more consistent cleaning schedule and better upkeep would greatly improve the experience.
On the plus side, the staff was professional, and the equipment was available, but the facility overall could use more attention.

Joining Planet Fitness was by far, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, concerning my health. Equipment is always in tip top shape & facilities are always clean. As a woman of a certain age, I sure love the ‘No Judgement’ aspect of the gym. Everyone is so pleasant at PF OST. I have been to PFs across the nation & PF OST in Houston is truly my favorite. It's really disappointing that the gym isn't open 24 hours, especially when the rest of the city has that convenience. It feels like they're not considering the needs of the community, where flexible hours might be even more crucial. Having to drive to a further location just to access a 24-hour gym defeats the purpose of having a local gym in the first place. This location should be supporting the community by being accessible at all times.

The heaviest dumbbell they have is 75lbs and they always take all the 45s and horde them on the leg press. I wish they had at least 4 45lb plates on each smith machine and heavier dumbbells. But it is just planet fitness. So I make do.

Newly built locations. We'll kept up with plenty of equipments to choose from. Would be great to look into adding a indoor pool as myself and others do water aerobics. I can't believe this gym is in the middle of one of the largest cities in the nation and is no longer a 24 hrs. gym. Received notice: Effective June 14, 2024, the gym will stop being a 24hrs. spot. Unbelievable! That was the major reason that I signed up. Oh well, I guess I can start going to LA Fitness, a better environment. This spot was over run by homeless people anyway, who were always camped out in the locker room, and the parking lot were full of homeless people sleeping in their cars. Not really safe anyway.

Update: 8/19/2024
I have seen a lot of improvements with the changing of the hours. There aren't any more homeless parked out in the parking lot all night, which leads to fewer homeless camping out in the locker room. No more 18 wheelers parking in the parking lot since placing signs. The gym is really clean in the morning, since they are completely closing, which allows for a thorough cleaning every night, instead of semi cleaning like most Planet Fitness that are 24 hrs. I'm really liking the new hours of operation.

Pros: Nice gym, like all other pf gyms more enriched by cardio equipment. Separate section section for abs and legs, 30mins workout section, extensive stretch/warmup area, you will find at least 2-3 machines for each muscle.
