I like it because it doesn't have a bunch of buff dudes who take a lot steroids who get mad at you if you look at them one time and walk by them one time. I've experienced this at other gyms. Keller Planet Fitness is great. Employees are very nice and I like that they offer a Fitness Trainer included with membership. Their app is very convenient for setting up appointments to attend group classes or training. Lots of equipment available. Rest rooms are well kept. The Black membership is worth the extra cost to use the hydro beds and massage chairs. Highly recommend Keller PF.

Edit - this is about my 5th visit and I’m changing my 5 star to a 3 star review due to sitting outside after drinking 300MG of caffeine ready to go over a ‘staffing issue’ Sunday morning where the gym isn’t open on time and I’m here at 7:05.

Staffing is imperative and to not be doubled up to prevent a bad opening or have ownership within a quick drive to open the doors is a poor decision. The key box is wide open so I’m doubtful that this is alone a staffing issue.

7:39 - Staff is here, no key in the box to let us in. Called that one.

My original 5 star - Two visits in and it’s Not overly packed in the morning hours, great array of machines, friendly staff, spacious showers, and very clean.

Recently joined the gym, I thought it would be nice to workout and get tanning services.
However, it seems like the employees have no idea about the tanning bed services.
I had Trey put me in a tanning bed that was in used, and then after he puts me in another bed, I asked if he could put a 5 minute delay so I could apply the tanning lotion.
He doesn’t and he only puts 5 minutes only.
A completely wasted of my time.

Update: 4/1/2025 Keller, TX:: This is my favorite location in the DFW area. Very clean. Hot water issue seems to be fixed. Pleasant cliental. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very safe and upscale.

Roanoke, TX:: The same day I gave a poor rating on a survey regarding the toilets the management politely called, offering me two free months to change my review. I complied after be assured the toilets would be clean. Yet 3 days later, nothing has changed. I’d rather have clean locker rooms than 2 free months.

I have had the most amazing experience at Planet Fitness Keller!! This is my favorite location I've been to out of several ones in the area! The fitness area and bathrooms are always clean, and the staff is always extremely friendly. Marissa was particularly helpful in giving me information about the black card membership and advice on tanning! Found Earth Angels at an amazing fitness facility. Samantha and Trinity made sign up easy and efficient. Offered lots of great options. The intergalactic star, Jerome, spent days crafting the perfect workout regimen for me. I'm a 73-year-old female ultra endurance runner with a bionic neck. Jerome gave me so many options for strength and flexibility. He will keep me running for years to come! Beautiful facility. Made even more so by the extraordinary team.

I walked in last week unsure if I was ready to sign up. After getting a workout in with their day pass, I decided to sign up due to the great customer service I received from Annie and Samantha. There are plenty of equipment and machines for whatever your focus is and I am able to be in and out for my workout even in the busy evening hours.

Planet Fitness at Keller Pkwy, Keller TX is clean. However there are some things that need to be addressed. The drinking water fountain had mold / algae. I asked the staff (Tayor) for the Manager of the fitness to take a look at the condition of the water fountain. Taylor told me that the manager is with a client. But Taylor and I could see the Manager working out with a resistance band at the check-in area and was not with a client. When I confronted Taylor that the Manager was not with a client and that the information he provided me was an incorrect statement, Taylor accused me of being rude and threatened to cancel my membership. I would like the management to address the following issues – 1. Why didn’t the staff notice the unhealthy condition of the water fountain prior to me informing them? 2. Is this how your staff is supposed to provide incorrect statements? 3. Is this an acceptable conduct for Taylor to interact with customer with his arrogant and despicable attitude?

I use to really enjoy going to the Keller location, but recently it seems that it’s taken on a new attitude.
I used to be greeted with a friendly hello, and a polite goodbye. Not that this has to happen every time I walk into the gym, but the atmosphere has changed. Now, when I walk in, there’s no greeting, no eye contact, nothing… there’s a different feeling about the gym now. The front desk is cold, distant, self absorbed and totally disconnected and distracted from the people.

I’m planning on canceling after 3 years. Sad

I had a subscription to Fitness Connection gym in Watauga, and I don't regret changing to Planet Fintness. The cleanliness of this place, the quality of the equipment it offers is 100% better than the previous place. The only drawback is the lack of a classic bench for chest pressing, there are only Smith machines.

This location just opened and already causing so many issues with paying customers. If you’re going to walk around the gym telling people they can’t have gym bags with them the least you could do is make this known upon the arrival of the customer especially if you see them walking in with a gym bag. This would be a better way to address the issue ahead of time so the customer can accommodate the rule or go elsewhere. Obviously this is a MAJOR issue if you had to highlight it on a notice for customers that wasn’t even visible for us too see. Your employee made sure to point that out.
I was rudely stopped by one of your “ex-military” employees mid-workout talking about my gym bag that was not in anyone’s way. I was at a cable machine in the far back of the building doing my leg workouts and had resistant bands in my bag that I was using at the time the worker approached me. No one was around me at all. Despite this interaction he then failed to tell the other 5 people with bags that they needed to put them away. The only person he was trying to enforce this rule on was me. I have been working out at PF for years and have never had this issue. I will just go to a different location next time. I am here to workout and focus on my fitness. The last thing I need to worry about is being stopped mid workout regarding rules not followed at any other PF location especially when you are picking and choosing who to enforce these rules with.

I’d also like to add how unprofessional it was to walk in and see you spraying your coworker with air freshener. She was very sweet and does not deserve to be harassed in that way. I’m sure your job requirements don’t include disrespecting your co-worker in that way Mr.Rule enforcer.

Side note: this gym is insanely small and VERY CROWDED. The Roanoke location is much nicer, cleaner, better staff, and less crowded when working out around 6pm. Take my suggestion and go to the Roanoke location instead.

This facility is decent but cramped. Lots of equipment and even some unique pieces I haven't seen. A stretch cage. (I want one)
While I was there it wasn't too crowded but can't imagine even adding 10 more people. The space is tight. Make sure to check the crowd meter in the app.
The place is clean as most PF's are. Friendly staff, all the amenities that you would expect. Check out the "Black Card".
I would go back, I likely will! See you 'round.

Horrible location everytime I've came in here it has been a problem. The team member knocked on the door of the tanning room and didn't announce his self then after 10 mins came to the door and used a screw driver to open the door of the tanning room while I was in there. The door said in use and I barely had any clothes on he proceeded to close the door after he made eye contact with me. I've been to planet fitness all over and I've never had this problem. I'm not even from out here and I've only been here twice literally on the 30th of August and today. I didn't even wanna come back after the first experience because it's so creepy here. My privacy was invaded. Last time the same team member walked up and touched me just because I was sitting in the black member section which I paid for while waiting for someone that i have as a guess every time I come here they invade my privacy and boundaries. I'm really starting to think they don't like black people because it's the same guy at this time of night.

The staff is very nice but the circuit training area is challenging. You wait for the station to use while people are on their phone or they are just sitting resting. One person looked like he was taking a nap just sitting at station with his eyes closed. If you want to circuit train be prepared to try and work around those who don’t follow the rules.
