Sept2025:4 ⭐: I would and have recommend this location for my friends and family.

Feb2025: 4 ⭐: I moved to the new space adjacent to the shopping center when they moved. The new space is fairly nice and has decent upgraded equipment. I have noticed the workers seem to keep up with cleaning the machines while I'm in the facility. There are fewer machines that are out of order that I've noticed, but it still takes a significant amount of time to bring them back online. They've had issues with the water at this location and the internet service. The parking situation here is one shared with other businesses in the local area facility.

July2020: 3 ⭐: The space is not very crowded in the early hours, but members seem to be less concerned with cleaning the equipment after use. Large parking lot adjacent to the freeway, but they share the lot with a conference center. This sharing of the lot causes issues with finding a parking spot during the conference shows. The equipment and facility is kept fairly clean by staff members working in the facility. This location has about the same amount of machines I've seen at other locations visited outside the area. This location often has signs posted about things that are out of order and not repaired over several weeks. A lot of people coming to the center who just take space at the machines blocking others working out up to (15) minutes because they want to check their phone.

Terrible experience at Planet Fitness in Dallas.

I’m not from here — I live in Miami and was visiting a friend in Dallas. I decided to work out at this location using my Black Card membership. After training for over an hour and a half, I was exhausted and hungry, so I ordered some healthy sushi through Uber Eats. Once it arrived, I sat down at one of the tables, respectfully, just trying to eat something light before continuing.

Suddenly, a male staff member — a man of color — approached me in an extremely rude and aggressive manner. Without any greeting or basic courtesy, he barked: “Hey bro, aren’t you going to scan in? Why are you sitting here? Why did you bring food?” His tone was inappropriate and accusatory, and it completely threw me off. I told him I had scanned in when I arrived and had been working out for 90 minutes. Still, he kept interrogating me in a very unprofessional way.

I even re-scanned my QR to avoid further conflict, but he continued questioning why I was sitting there with food. I calmly asked, “Why not? Isn’t that what the tables are for?” After all, Planet Fitness sells drinks and snacks — it’s not like I was having a picnic. It was just one simple fitness meal.

He responded sarcastically and told me to choose: “Are you here to eat or to work out?” Then he made me put my food in a locker and walk away from it. Once I was done with my workout, he finally allowed me to eat, but only “in secret,” in the Black Card lounge. Even then, his attitude was dismissive, cold, and borderline discriminatory. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if his behavior was rooted in homophobia.

No customer should ever feel judged, mistreated, or humiliated at a place that promotes being a “Judgement-Free Zone.” Planet Fitness, please do better. Train your staff in basic respect and human decency.

Noticed from prev review that members occupying restroom stalls while playing with their phones instead of used the stalls for their "designated business. People should stop using the bathroom stalls as their "personal phone booths. This prevents other members from using the those stalls for necessary activities. Management would you please consider placing a plaque on the inside of stall doors reminding people not to use their phones while in the stalls. I waited over 20 min while the occupants scrolled through their phones.

I went in on June 9 to cancel my membership. Never had any issues going to planet fitness paid all my dues up until I had to cancel that night. I went in and spoke to a girl and when I asked to cancel my membership, all she did was give me a thumbs up and said you’re good the following day when I went to go look on my account it said the membership was still active even though she said I was OK and that it was canceled. You could even see on the cameras as well her signaling me i was good, didn’t ask for my name or anything. So I called the hotline to ask why my account is still active and they told me in the notes “I had walked away before I could even finish the cancellation process.” The fact that she blatantly lied, just comes off as sharks. then I had to go in again just to file another cancellation. If i had to move to another state this would’ve cause an entire financial inconvenience considering you can only cancel in person. The overall experience is good, but for any future members who are looking towards canceling, make sure you record and make sure before you walk out to sign something.

This is one of the nicest Planet Fitness I've been to. It's not very large, but it has everything that you need available to have a full workout. The gym is bright and very clean. The bathroom/locker rooms are always clean. I keep coming back to this Planet Fitness in particular, even though I have visited other locations mainly due to the excellent staff and location. I will continue to keep coming here as my "Happy Place".

I'm a semi truck driver. A young lady told me I can park here overnight so long as I work out. I've been coming here for months with the ok to do so. Tonight/this morning, some guy bangs on my truck telling me I'm booted. That it cost over 1200 dollars. I don't understand. I haven't had any issues here, ever. Until now. I see that many reviews say that PF Lewisville is roomy. I often leave to do strength training at home, or just flat out skip it. Many times I can't get space in the 2 small areas designated for dumbbells, etc. The very back room has no mirrors. I'm the type who has to watch my form for correction, etc. I'm stuck with my membership until early next year. My bf won't even go anymore. He has the type of membership he can cancel without penalty.

It only took me a year to actually start using my membership, but glad I choose this location. It was very clean and roomy, and the folks at the desk were super! My only complaint is that I saw a lot of people taking up machines while talking or scrolling on their phonesi nstead of using them. That's really annoying if you're trying to maintain a pace on your workout and the machines are blocked. Overall though, great gym experience.

I've noticed that maintained of broken machines has been extremely slow. There are a few machines in the gym that have been out of service for over a month now and there's no ETA on when they will be repaired. When I asked the person at the check-in today, she said she had no idea when they would be fixed. This is worrying. I will see if this continues to be an issue , and if the problem persists I may quit.

Joined here a week ago and so far I'm loving it. Plenty of equipment, it's well maintained and clean. Great place to work out. And it's open 24 hrs a day. Compared to the local Anytime fitness that I have been using for 3 years, this place is way nicer.

It is a bright and clean, big and organized. Locker/shower area smells fresh. The showers are private. I just started after cancelling my TFF membership. Front desk personnel are always helpful. Update: Since moving to the new location on Round Grove, they've brought new equipment. I can tell that more people have joined. I was a member at the gym that formerly occupied that spot, and I suggested that PF move there, and they did. The showers and lockers are improved.

I love planet fitness how it has everything that I need. The new relocation has more machines I like to lay out it feels more open. I just wish they would do something about the other customers who go barefoot and put their bare feet all over the equipment (not sanitary). I also hope they changed out those lazy employees.
